Ordered a bottle of intelligence...Big mistake!!!! Their commercial says a 14 day trial offer with no other charges??????? Just noticed it's a credit card scam lol checked my credit card and the Company billed me 138.70!!!!!!!! For a 4.99 bottle of pills lmao. I'm reporting this company for fraudulent practices like so many others. Called them to get my money back the man on the phone said return the bottle and my account will be re-funded? I'll believe it when I see it.Bad company ripping off good honest people.

I feel like a total idiot for falling for this scam! I ordered a bottle of their weight loss product to try and was charged for shipping only. The free weight loss product arrived along with another bottle of a product I did not order. I put them aside and decided that I would not start on these pills until after the new year.

Today, I noticed a charge on my bank statement of $138.59 from this company. Thinking that they were now sending me more product, I called to tell them I didn't want it as I hadn't even started on the "free" bottle. I was told that this charge was not for more product-it was for the other bottle of product they sent me! And since I didn't contact them within 14 days to cancel, they would charge for that product! The man I spoke to keep repeating the Terms & Conditions, which are very long and complicated and I'm sure that's why I did not see this. They will not refund my money. I told him to cancel my account and send me an email verification, but that did not happen.

I called the bank and cancelled my credit card because I do not trust them to stop charging me. I'm going to toss these bottles in the garbage. Lesson learned! DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANIES YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH!

Incidentally, the 14 day trial period begins the day you PLACE your order, not when you receive your order!

This company is a total ripoff and can't believe I was so stupid to fall for their scam.

I authorized 2 charges for a trial offer on thier site for $7.53 each. I just noticed now that I was charged an addition $274.04.

I called them but was told it was because I didn't contact them within 14 days from ordering and that they would not refund my money.

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and did not even have the product in 14 days.

Just hope people see this and don't order from this company.

I am trying to lose weight , So I saw this new product on line through my facebook news , and also on my MSN page , so the fact that I saw this add on both internet sites , I said to myself should be a product that I could trust , with all their Testimonials they have accompaning their sales pitch !!

Well I was completely mustakin I got took for a little credit card scam , began with a supposably product , free first month trial for the cost of shipping which was supposed to be $4.95 . Canadian funds but no two days later I get two consecutive withdrawels of $6.95 US funds , then 30 days exactly a Big

$125.

00 withdrawel , Now thats where I got scared and went directly to my Bank and got the credit card cancelled , before any other dammage came by surprise .

So stay away from this scam of losing weight with this product named GARCINIA GAMBOGIA and the other product that they try pushing you to buy CA VEN CLEANSE PRO

CA GARCINA PRO FOCUS NUTRACA VEN CLEANSE PRO Gave me a one month free trial , for the cost of shipping only whicj was supposed to be $4.95 which was automatically withdrawn from my Visa Credit card to find out next day two withdrawels of $6.95 were made consecutively , Then 30 days later to the day an amount of $125.00 was made to my credt card in which I immediately cancelled due to this fraud and maybe more to come from this individual scamers . They said Ontario ,but was billed in American fund.

SCAM

I just order the Ca Garcinia pro since they offered it for a free trial st 4.99 . And it was offered through Peoples magazine webpage or what I thought was their webpage. For some reason after my order I had a bad feeling so I decided to cancel my credit card right away. Luckily I was right. The company added on CA VEN CLEANSE to my order for 14.99 without my consent. And after some more research and seeing this review page I am so happy I canceled my credit card. They did send the bottle to me, but I threw it away...

P Pill Fraud

This is a crafty and nasty means to extra money by flogging off pills that promise much but deliver little. The clever use of words, visuals and hype takes one’s eyes off the ball until you find you have had a consorted attack on your Visa account. Dealing with them entails dealing with a well rehearsed call center woman who explains in great detail how they manage to scam you just above the legal water line. Do not deal with this outfit, and always do your home work before giving out your credit card number. I didn't (and I was a consumer advocate for 19 years with City TV in Toronto I hang my head in shame) Also contact the Competition Bureau Of Canada re how the company advertises.

Focus Nutra selling practice

This is not a review, but a review of the intrusive nature of this company. I opened the site, was impressed by the presence of Anderson Cooper (does he know he is being "used"?) and then, as my wife had been totally scammed by a similar sounding offer to the tune of some $500 US, looked up reviews. Now get this– as I was doing this, the phone rang and a lady noted that I had been looking at the Focus Nutra ad!!! I had not even SENT anything! No way, m'am, I'm not going to be sucked in by a company that is this intrusive, that it covertly obtains my phone number before I have even SENT anything. No legit company would do this. Read the writing on the wall- these people are plain SCAMMERS. Apparently my comment is too short, so here it is again... This is not a review, but a review of the intrusive nature of this company. I attended a CIK survey and got an award to receive Focus Nutra/Mental Nutra supplement free with a charge of shipping cost of several bucks. No any terms and condition confirmation. Then two months later I find that I was charged CAD 268.96 every month for membership subscription.

I go to their website and check why I subcribed for membership, but there's no my account and I can't find any clue. I called them and ask them to stop charging and give me refund, but they rejected. It's a fraud company and I will sue them.

I completed an online survy and received a free gift which is now costing me @240.14 plus shipping. I agreed to a trial of Garcinia and received CA Garcinia and CA Ven Cleanse. The latter which I did not order. I had not tried them when I found a charge of $119.99 on my account. I called them to dispute this and they were very rude. I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager and never did get one. The person talked to someone who agreed to return $50.00 for each product. Today, I found a $120.00 from a company CCD EU Grop. When I called the credit card company, I found that this was the same company and because of the fine print, there is nothing I can do. Please be aware and do not deal with Focus Nutra or CDD EU Group. They are rip off artists. I am a Senior on pension and this hurts.

My husband has early dementia and saw claims from FocusNutra on the internet in November, 2016. They offered "free sample" of Intelligex for improved mental health and Amped for energy. In order to get this free sample he submitted our credit card for delivery charge and clicked OK which turned out to be a monthly subscription for bottles of these pills. By the time I noticed our credit card was charged for the sum of $858.40. I almost died. We cannot afford this and now he doesn't even remember ordering the free sample. I contacted them this weekend by phone 1 888 255-1750 first with our story and got no satisfaction, the representative mearly read standard answers. Then I sent an email that would break the heart of a normal person. They offered $100.00 off as a discount on 2 bottles that we already received. I offered to send all unopened and unwanted bottles back. No returns. I have since found this is a scam and many people have been scammed.

I cancelled this credit card but am horrified that we are responsible for these fake supplements. Visa has lost every claim again this company because this is companies set up by lawyers who have covered their asses! I tried to find a history of this transaction on my husbands computer, but already erased. I'm wondering if Federal Trade Commission complaint or any other agency will do anything. Has anybody tried?

Watch out for this fraudulent company. I had purchased an item from a very reputable and safe company when after the confirmation, Focus popped up. How they got my information is hacking. There were no terms or conditions that apply!!!

I was billed for 7 and 9 dollars on my next statement. The billing address was scattered from england to glascow, I assumed this was the product and did went along with it. Every 2 weeks after I get $121 billed to my credit card.

When I try contacting them by phone I get about 5 clicks on the line and it sounds like people talking in the background from a foreign land. Nobody answered the call. Now they have your phone number, that is probably sold to marketers too.

Stay away from these dishonest people. THESE PEOPLE ARE BAD NEWS!!!

Focus Nutra. Signed up for a $4.99 trial offer. Received 6 bottles of "Amped Energy" & "Intelligex". Could not use them because of certain ingredients that would interfere with medical conditions. No indication on their site warning about exclusions for certain conditions. Charged $193.94 on my credit card when I should have been charged for the price of shipping ONLY! Can not receive any refund consideration because it is after the 30 day return policy in their fine print. A complete rip off!

Noticed additional billings in subsequent months for $89.97 & $98.97 respectivelty withour having received any additional product. A complete rippoff. Stay away from this company.

Same experience

Exactly the same routine with my order made following Dr Hawking advertisement in the magazine - I was ripedoff.

Justin, who answered my call at 888 255 1750, promised me a $50 US return on my credit card, in two to five days.

I will try to let Dr Stephen Hawking know how morally wrong it is to deal with that kind of conscious animals.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???

I too ordered the trial bottle of INTELLIGEX: (Too bad I wasn't intelligent enough to realize this was a SCAM)

i repeatedly told the rep on the phone I did NOT want to try the AMPED ENERGY.

Well. two months later I FINALLY get one bottle of AMPED ENERGY in the mailbox but not the product I ORDERED.

When I emailed their customer service, I was told that I received what I ordered (INTELLIGEX and AMPED ENERGY) upon checking my credit card statement I found I've been billed $411.93 so far for the product I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED.

In none of the responses I received from the company has the rep even acknowledged the fact that I did NOT want the AMPED ENERGY.

I still have not received what I ordered and my credit card company is investigating the matter further. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR FRAUDULENT practices.

How do i take these scam artist to court, ideas please if any lawyers are reading this

I ordered a $10 bottle of intelligex with the free shipping and handling charge, I waited and waited and then two and a half weeks later my bank account was hit for $178 dollars by nutra focus, which says it's based in Ontario. I called and demanded to cancel my order and was told that I had waited past a 14 day deadling for cancellation. Upon talking to them they said they had mailed out my product on the 18th of July and that they were not responsible for any postal delays. I received the product on the 15th of August , and after tracking it through UPS found evidence that the product wasn't mailed out from them until the 10th of August. Isn't this some type of fraudulent practice that can be taken to a court of law. I want to make them pay for all the hurt the lies and deceit they have perpetrated on the public. I have proof that they lied, and the dates tell it all.

I ordered two "free" bottles of supplments back on May the 9th for $4.95 each back on May the 9th. One was for Focus Nutra, the other was for IQ Supplement.

I just looked at my bank account, because a bill that I tried to pay bounced, and I found that on the 24th of May I was charged $79.99 for the Focus Nutra, and $89,99 for the IQ. The craziest part is that I haven't even received the "free" sample bottles yet! How ridiculous. I just tried to call and cancel, and of course they are only open Monday through Friday from 9am through 5pm PST. You can bet I will call them first thing on Tuesday morning after the Memorial Day holiday!

Also, although there are two different phone numbers for the Focus Nutra (1-888-255-1750) and the IQ Supplement (1-877-790-9790); I know that they are one in the same, because they were answered by the same recording.

Don't be tricked...when it sounds too good to be true it is! I was suckered by an online advertisement for a free 15 day trial of Intelligex as part of an advertisement promoting what great success famous people were having with this supliment improving their mental functions. I figured for the $5.99 shipping that this would be worth checking out, but boy was I wrong!

After entering my credit card information I was prompted to confirm my order which also listed a product called Amped Energy for some hundreds of dollars per bottle. The order summary noted that if I did not want to purchase the Amped Energy bottle as well, all I had to do was deselect it from the tick box, however everytime I tried to click it off, it was added right back on when trying to proceed to check-out. I abandoned my order without checking out, hoping that would be the end of it, but fearing I might recieve both pills.

Sure enough, two weeks later the pills arrived in the mail and when I tried to contact Focus Nutra to enquire how to return the product and avoid charges, I was told it was too late...the fine print apparently says that the full amount is charged after your "free trial" period of 14 days from time of order placement. By the time I received my product, the free trial period was over and I was expected to pay full price, not only for the Intelligex, but also for the 'companion product' Amped Energy which I was told was non-refundable anyway. (returning the product unopened is not "an acceptable way" of getting your money back)

The woman with a strong accent that took my call was kind enough to finally offer me the "maximum employee discount" she could of $50 US. I guess all I can do now is wiat for my credit card statement and see how much this "free trial" will cost me....

Scam!

It was in June of the year of 2017. Focus Nutra's ad appeared before a survey which came up after I called Shaw (the internet and cable TV provider). Saying something like, " do this survey you will get these products for 7.99 or 4.99 CAD for the value of 129.99.....". I could not remember why I just believe them and thought give it a try. Then the company charged me somewhere between 100 to 126 CAD.

Just want to let more people know that being alert, open your eyes widely and think again and again when this kind of ads come up.

Just a rip off from honest people.

I ordered a "free trial" for only the cost of shipping & handling. Two weeks after the charge of shipping on my credit card, they put a charge through for complete cost of the items. Then they charged me again for a second month. There are no returns and refunds after 30 days from initial trial offer. Do not order this item, or any item as the whole free month for only the cost of shipping is a complete scam. It can't be considered a free trial for 30 days if they charge you 15 days after order.

  • Apr 20, 2018

This is not a health supplement company. I repeat: it is not a health supplement company. It is a scam which offers a free sample with shipping of about $4.00 or so which you pay by credit card. Wham! they've got you. A week or so later other bottles start to arrive. They took $240.00 from my card. I called to cancel...Which they did but not before sending two more different bottles for another $240.00. I called to complain and a youngish sounding asian woman told me i had missed the cancellation deadline for the second batch and that it was my responsibility to read all terms and conditions. She was obviously well schooled and practiced in how to deal with complaints. Any discussion on the quality of the product is now redundant: it is not a health supplement but a hook waiting for the unwary to submit a credit card number.

  • Apr 19, 2018

I was offered a free trial of a health supplement but with a small postage charge to be paid by credit card. A week or so later although I hadn't ordered it another bottle arrived. My credit card had been charged $200.00 Cdn by this time. I called to cancel, which they did but not before sending me another two bottles of a supplement with a new cost of $240.00 Cdn on my next bill. I again called to complain but was met with a very practised young woman who lectured me on my failure to read all the terms and conditions and that should I complain to the credit card company or anyone else I would be told the same thing. Obviously, although her English was poor she was well versed in handling jerks like me. Hence, Focus Nutra is not actually a supplement company: it is a means to obtain credit card numbers, and send out unordered product that is obviously of dubious value. Mark one up for them and $440.00 Cdn minus for me.

Did not tell us about the money, in fact it was no where to be found-- this information about them costing over $100. Biggest scam ever. Literally stealing money.

  • Mar 8, 2018

Apart from that, the customer agent on the phone was so rude, and the product does not work!!!

  • Feb 21, 2018

This ruthless company preys on young impressionable girls. Making them feel like they are getting a great deal and sell it as a free sample. This 14 day free sample starts the day or night it is ordered and even though the mail takes too long it is not taken into consideration. They then took my little girls money and when I called to explain that it was against the law for them to be selling diet suppliments to underage girls they simply read the terms and conditions. This type of company should be put out on business.

I too was ripped off. I am just grateful that I had the mind to call them when I tried their $4.95 offer which in the end added uo to over $39 dollars (US I believe) if I didn't want to send it back. This (me) 76 yr old woman didn't want to step out to send it back. so in reality the $4.95 x 2 (bottles)= $9.90 was not really a "try it out." Because I didn't want to leave the house to send it back they are charging me an additional $39. not sure of the cents. So the "try out" bottles came to be $48.90 US there abouts. This Canadian feels really hurt this happened to me. Most of us seniors are on a fixed income!!!!

Every body especially seniors beware!

Be aware the big trap online when you see Nutra Support prooduct!

Nutra Support puts their so called contract with you in finest print and impossible place when they trap you to purchase their Focus Nutra Intelligex and Focus Nutra Amped FREE TRIAL online by asking you only provide your credit card so that you only pay the postage.

After you give them your credit card, they took your money away by charging you US$100 per bottle every month without even send you any notice via email and receipt in their mail to you with the bottle. No information of contact, no information of their company comes with the bottles they mailed to you. And you have no way to even go back to the web page where you placed the order. They later claimed that you have SIGNED contract with them when you order the first trail bottles!

The trap is even worst that the so called FREE TRAIL is a lie. Their rule is within 14 days if you do not cancel it which you have no way to cancel it since you do not have their email confirmation, no receipt and contact info in their mail of bottles to you, then you are charged for the first two bottles they send to you which you are thinking free and only postage is paid. No! They charged in full amount even for these first two bottles!

This is a no shameful lier trying to trap people online. Their product is also a junk. Their so called Focus Nutra Amped contains high percentage of coffin so that they call it boost up your energy.

When questioned why they do so, they shameless said the following: "We will not be able to operate as a company for a long time without following all the necessary rules and regulations mandated by law. Being an e-commerce firm, the main protocol would be to have a visible and concrete terms and conditions present on each and every websites that we have. Clicking any advertisement will route to our website and as a fail safe plan, any order cannot literally push through without manually checking the box that says "I agree to the terms and conditions". We do not think that it is fair on our side if we have provided these explanations prior to any order if a customer fails to read them. "

So they are saying that it is customers' fault not read their finest print and so deeply hiden such an unfair and important ifnormation in their website.

Anytime an e-commerce is going to charge their customer, such as Amazon, the price is clearly put out and double checked with the customer that is what they agreed to be charged. This is the correct way.

But Nutra Support did not do in that way at all. They create their own rules and hide it and blame the customer for not found and not read it. Therefore, they think that they are doing all these legally and therefore people should be robbed by them.

If anyone is seeing this company or this type of wrong doing, please be aware and stay away from them!

Our consumer should launch a lawsuit against this company!

Their contact phone number is:1(866) 294-3649

Site pops uo when searching for home depot. Claims they will send free product, just pay shipping and handling. after 14 days they charge full price of product about $100 USD if the account isnot closed. I was charged. phoned the company and they were not prepared to assist. prior to calling my solicitor i called them back and they agreed to $80.00 usd refund. In my eyes, this company is in the business of small print contracts, sending product that does not work and charfing full fee after 14 days, they are making money on the initial shipping and handling and the subsequent smaller refund over the asking price.

*This company is a fraud they billed me 79.95 for a supplement I did not even order. I agreed to a trial offer for their intelligence for 30days and I just had to pay 5$ shipping. Well they end up playing games with you threaten you so yo won't get your money back. I cancelled my bank. Card and made a complaint, then they told me in order to get the refund I was to retract my complaint then they would give me my refund! Make a complaint to the postmaster because they will not allow them to ship from Canada if there are enough complaints. Beware of these frauds! *

Read heading which has my complaint in it. Sorry don't feel like re typing it

I had signed up for a Focus Nutra Garcinia, but was automatically added to another supply of Ven cleanser. After reading negative reviews, I tried to cancel but could not find any phone number or email to cancel. This was to be a trial offer. Never received any samples, but was charged the trial amount and the full amount with two bottles sent to me. I intend to send it back if I can get an address. The address on the UPS label is 701 C Ashland Ave, Folcroft PA 19032. I have found out this is a mailing service. Could anyone give me some advice on this?

Told my bank to cancel my card, but was warned they would still try to charge.

Could any one geive me a phone no or address that I could write to?

I will try to send the product back, if able .

Intelligex ordered. Another item (Amped) immediately recommended to go with it. Item ordered April 30. May 16th I noticed that over the weekend my card was charged: 4.99 shipping for Intelligex, 4.95 shipping for Amped, 89.97 for the next shipment of Intelligex and 79.95 for the next shipment of Amped.

The company was called. I was informed that the terms stated that it must be cancelled within the first 14 days. When I stated that must mean after it arrived, the agent reported, "Yes, I can see how you might have thought that".

Each bottle had 60 pills in it. I was further informed that the trial offer was only for 14 days so the bottle of 60 pills was actually the trail plus the additional order.

I have called the credit card but the charges are still pending and cannot be contested until the charge is final so will continue to watch it and dispute the charge once it goes through.

Now I don't even want to take them because do not think the company can be reputable with this kind of marketing scheme--even though the list of ingredients seem reasonable.
