I was recently checking my bank accounts and found that I have been paying $30.49 for membership to this group (FPA). I joined this group nor do I receive anything from them. This started on 17/2/2017 when $27.72 was taken out of my account each month until 17/6/2017 when it was increased (without my consent) to $30.49 & I have been paying this amount regularly once a month for some reason. The total that I have now paid is $413.01. Again, I never requested this deduction and have never received anything from FPA for this “purchase”

They have stolen $28.85 from me so far ....i hope someone gets them before they get more from thousands of other people . Multiple complaints against these crooks . Middle eastern garbage . Our military needs to close the borders and (((VIOLATES TOS))) !!

The customer service rep , whose name is ALWAYS" Fritz "...poor stupid Fritz ....thinks he has me convinced that he refunded my money and my bank stole it from me . What an idiot . By the way if you google them , they have multiple fraud complaints with the BBB , i just googled their address at 4330 Gaines Ranch Loop , and it comes up as being office space for rent , with a different name and a different phone number . Im sure i will never see my money again . However if i see Fritz , i hope for his sake that he has his own family protection plan ... he will dam sure need one . (((VIIOLATES TOS)))

To better our financial situation, my wife and I have been tracking our spending. At the beginning of the year, we noticed a charge to a company called Family Protection Agency that I was a member of a few years ago. We started digging through our bank statements and noticed that they have never stopped charging my account their monthly, sometimes more than once per month, recurring fee of $19.95. It is now Feb. of 2017.

After numerous calls from my end, the only response I get from them is that they are sorry and they do not know why I am still being charged. Well I don't know either, but I am still being charged. They have it documented (and tell me every time I call) that they see that it was cancelled in 2015 and they do not understand why it is still recurring. However, they can not find any details from after 2015 so they cannot resolve it.

Each time I am told they wil contact me within 24-48 hours with a resolution. I have not yet been called back in the past month, and have called them several times for a follow-up over the past month. Each time leads to the same thing, a continuous loop.

I feel that it is time for legal advice.

SCAM - BE CAREFUL

I was reconciling my credit card statement and I noticed a charge from Family Protection Services in TX. I immediately called the # on the statement (512-900-3151) and there was no answer. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and asked them to put a merchant block on future charges. I searched them on the internet and they made the following statement:

"Hey there, FPA members! Some of you are confused/concerned about what this membership is all about. Or maybe you checked your credit card statement and it says you got charged for a membership fee that you did not sign up for. How did that happen?

Family Protection Association offers its membership to anyone who’s interested in joining. The most common way that people join our membership is through a sales offer that included a free trial. You have 14 days free in the FPA and only after that time is up does your card get charged for your monthly dues."

I never signed up for anything with this company.

First dishonest act: enrolled me in their organization without my request, using information from an order that I did place. After promising a reasonable delivery of an order, although charging, immediately, still hadn't sent after 4 weeks; promused prompt delivery. I cancelled the order after receiving the same promise two weeks later. I am still waiting for the refund on this, the fourth business day; now it was promised for next week .

While trying to reconcile my current credit card bill, I became awaare of a charge from the company mentioned above. I have no knowledge of contacting or authorizing this company at any time and when I tried to call the telephone number listed on my bill, I received an automated message that it was and invalid number. I refuse to pay this charge and will be contacting my credit card issuer to remove it from my account.

In the fall of 2016, I ordered a product from Family Protection Association twice, with a small shipping fee, on two separate occasions. What I did not know when I placed the orders was that FPA would then charge me for a membership WITH EACH ORDER. This was disclosed only after completing each order in an email which I never saw.

Every month, two charges would show up in my checking account from familyprotection.org for $19.95. A couple of months went by and I called them up and asked why I was getting charged. They explained that I agreed to the charges when I made those two purchases. I said I didn't want to pay for two memberships, so they should cancel one of them. They agreed to do so. They continued to charge me twice a month. I called again and asked them to cancel ALL memberships and they agreed. One month later, I received yet another charge from this company.

The insistance on creating a separate membership for every separate order (with no indication that this was going to happen), added to the inability for this company to stop charging after its customer has requested to cancel multiple times all adds up to SCAM for me. DO NOT order anything from Family Protection Association. They just want to stick you with as many recurring monthly membership charges as they can.

If I had it to do all over again, I would have asked my bank to refuse any charges from this company once I realized what they were doing. You CAN ask your bank not to allow this type of recurring charge. This company does not deserve anyone's hard earned money.

Family Protection Association is offering a suposed free gift for filling out a survey for Amazon. I ordered only a flashlight and they added a tacpen AND 998 payments of $19.95 per month for membership to their organization. Click bank handled the transaction and Amazon sends survey participants to their website (A F P) Clickbank said they would cancel the 998 payment plan but could not cancel the tacpen. I have as yet to get documentation from Clickbank on the cancelation.

This company lures you in with a special "knife", that is really cheap. But, when they get your credit card, they will sign you up for a recurring monthly $19.95 charge against the card. They argue that you agreed to it, but if it is pretty obscure. For the recurring charge, you get absolutely nothing. They can argue that they are a legitimate organization, but they are not. What they do is fraudulent.

I bought a shirt from FAMILYPROTECTION.ORG 512-90031 next thing I know they are charging me 19.95 a month. I contacted them an told them I did not want to be a member of their site.

They refunded the 19.95 last month. Now the charge is on my bank account again this month.

This company has been charging my credit card for some reason that I'm not quite sure of. I don't recall signing up for a "membership" of any sort. All I got out of it was a couple t-shirts. But with the 19.95 charges I've long since "paid" for them.

I don't understand why I'm still being charged every month. And when I try to call them, I get nothing but a recording, even @ 10 am! I sent an email but don't expect a response. It's obvious he's a cheat. Making a living by cheating other hard working people!

bait, lie, switch, unauth.charges

ordered sample food in November 2017. Read complaints so called them. Was assured NO MONTHLY RECURRING CHARGES. No membership fees. Found out food wouldn't ship for 45 days "so they could process it AFTER it was ordered" so I could be assured it was FRESH. I cancelled the order same day it was made, then received the food only 2 or 3 days AFTER I CANCELLED after they said it wouldn't ship for 45 days. They DID charge my card for the order they shipped. Since the food DID ship, I went ahead and paid for the order. Then today 1-14-2018, I get 2 identical emails saying "Thank you for your purchase today". I called my credit card and they said there was a hold on my card for $89.90 that hadn't gone through yet. I immediately blocked the payment and told the card that if they let the charge through, I would dispute it and not pay it. I have not "PURCHASED" anything from them or contacted them since November and now an $89.90 charge suddenly shows up. My fears are being fulfilled, they are the scam artists the complaints made them out to be. You are warned. Sounds more like pure thievery! Beware.

I ordered stuff from them and had $89.90, $19.95 and $19.97 charged to my card Jan 12, 2018. They charged me again on Jan 31,2018 another $19.95.

I have not received what I ordered yet. I called and cancelled my Credit card as that is the only way I can stop them from charging $19.95 every month on it.

What did you expect

Maybe dont order products from a company whose mission includes "protecting the purity" of their family members. Sounds awfully creepy to me. Here's a tip. Almost every "family values" organization is simply a nice way to say if you're not a straight white male Christian, we're going to fight to oppress your rights. Wake up people!

FPA Charges

Somewhere, in fine print, whenever you order something you will be charged $20 a month but never received anything from them after buying a t-shirt. After a long conversation on the phone and threatening them that I was going to report these as fraudulent charges, they agreed to cancel my account and send me a refund for the money they have been absconding without my knowledge until my bank called me today. So be careful and make sure you read the fine print and cancel everything before 30 days is up. BEWARE!

Absolute Horse Crap

I signed up with FPA for the supposedly training to get perspectives from other trainers. Once signed up I found that most videos were info that I already knew as I teach survival classes. They set up elite members with discounted products. I ordered my welcome packet and over $200 in purchases. 5 months later and two calls threatening to turn them into the BBB and other agencies including my lawyer, my welcome packet came in after 4 months of waiting. 5 months and still haven’t received all my items. Now for a company that claims to operate out of American in the exact state I live in why does items that come from China come 10x’s quicker. Every time I call to speak with someone it’s an foreigner. This is truly a scam and I’ll do everything to make sure that they are stopped.
