Family Protection Association Reviews

Sept 17 2019 i purchased a t shirt saying "i stand for the flag and knell for the cross". Paid the 9.78 shipping fee and have still yet to receive the shirt. They even got me to sign up for the monthly membership for $17 a month for two months before i cancelled. I have called once a month to complain and they just keep saying its back ordered still and if i want to cancel my order, i just need to return the $5.00 pen they sent as a welcome gift That i gave away). So four months later i am still waiting for my $1 t-shirt that has cost me almost $40

Purchased a shirt, took my money and i was told a couple of weeks then a couple of months. Wouldn't send my order unless i subscribed. They scammed me.

I ordered a we stand for the flag we kneel for the cross t-shirt and it never arrived and they charge my credit card but now it's too late to dispute and there's no response to my emails

Scammers

Ordered the free tee shirt and discovered three charges on my credit card. No shirt ever arrived. Unable to speak to a customer service rep as the company ultimately disconnects the call. Contacted them via their website with no response. Fortunately, my credit card company stopped payment and has blocked this company from future charges.

Orderd two shirts from them over a month ago and they never shipped them or sent me a confirmation email after the order

October 07, 2019

Paid $7.95 online for a tee shirt and was told it would ship in 6-8 weeks. Contacted them Nov. 20 they assured me I should receive it within the 6-8 weeks, it's now been 12-weeks, no shirt. I then went online and found the Rip Off Report website with fraud alerts about them.

Emailed them demanding my money back on Dec. 28 haven't heard anything yet.

Charged for items not wanted

Today I ordered the permanent matches Everstrike for $9.99. Just happened to check mail and discovered I had ALSO been charged for knife bundle $19.99 and a tactical camp bundle $49.99 which i had not ordered !!! Of course the confirmation emails did not show the charges they put on my credit card - just thanked me for the orders ! This company is using unethical business practices by funnelling their junk promotions in a way that lets them scam customers by charging for unwanted and unordered stuff. Everyone should report them to the better business bureau to stop them stealing from customers.!!!

Shame on these people! They claim to support "family values" but in my opinion, the solicitation is sneaky.

It begins with a solicitation that offers something for "free." All you have to do is pay some "small amount for the shipping." What you don't realize is that buried deep down in the verbiage is an agreement to be auto-billed $19 a month FOREVER.

An organization that truly espouses "family values" would have that information PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED, perhaps multiple times, and in the LARGEST FONT SIZE in the document.

I don't know how an organization expects to thrive if it operates based on sneaky tactics and hidden "gotchas."

In my case I happened to notice a bunch of $19 charges that I was not expecting. There were two "monthly charges" in the same month! I guess that I am fortunate to have caught this after only $86 of charges.

By the way, I tried to cancel this online but their website responded that my email address was invalid. Strange, because the phone representative asked me to verify the exact same address to which the cancellation email was sent. Of course I had to endure attempts to keep the account active such as "how about we suspend charges for a bit while you evaluate the benefits" and other pitches from someone who sounded like an off-shore boiler-room operator.

Caveat emptor!

Read entire email people

I've been reading all of these complaints about FPA & it's obvious none of these people read they're entire ad or email that explains in detail how they are going to screw you(automatic billing & 4 to 6 weeks just to ship products). I have ordered shirts, knives & several other items without a problem. My advice, I keep a couple

of pre-paid credit cards ( $25 or $50) to use when ordering from companies like these

Preying on Patriotic Americans

I ordered a t-shirt from this company and paid for it 9 weeks ago. I still have not received it and have requested a refund. I will be amazed if I get it. I plan on filling a formal complaint with the BBB and FTC as soon as possible to put a stop to this scam!

Scam!!

As with all the other reviews, mine is no different. Ordered a shirt 9 weeks ago and sent an email today asking the current status of my order and they said it was on back order. Why wouldn't you let customers know about such a problem with their order. How is this place still open for business (scamming) with so many reports to BBB and scamming alert sites. SCAMMERS! Get a real fn job, losers. Stop taking money from people who actually work for a living.

17.00 a month for 8 months on CC

Scam. Ripped me off 17.00 a month on CC. For months before i noticed. Never had even heard of them. Thieves. Need arrested, sued.

  • Nov 23, 2019

Ad said t-shirt was free, just pay shipping, haven't received it yet and no e-mail from them explaining why

  • Nov 19, 2019

Being charged 19.95 per month for joining an association i never joined. I ordered a knife from them and i have had 19.95 taken out every month since then.

  • Nov 17, 2019

I ordered a shirt which I never received. They did however charge my credit card.

  • Nov 14, 2019

This company is where I ordered 3 shirts from on July 20th. It is now Nov. 15th. My Credit card Payments are automatic so I do not look at my online report often. Today I did and I have what I figured out are 3 shirts and then a charge of $19.95 each month for some Family Protection Association.

I called the number and the lady told me I ordered 3 shirts and they are on backorder. LO L Really because a legit company would be sending me emails, trying to keep my business. Then she tells me, "because you ordered shirts you are automatically signed up as a member." I replied I didn't sign up for s*** and not only that I never receive any newsletter your site says I am supposed to be getting.

She asks me if I want information on the membership, that a lot of people benefit from it? I replied, " are you kidding me, you just scammed me, took my money without my knowledge, never informed me of my shirt order being back-ordered and you think I want to sign up and give you more money.

Well, I was then told that I would be getting a refund of $103.70 in the next 2 - 6 days. The worse thing is, I am almost positive I already went through this a couple of months ago, but I can't truly remember. I recall looking at their website and wondering what the heck it was, so I am 99% positive I did. I am embarrassed I didn't follow up on it.

So I have doubts I am going to receive any money. So my next step is to head over to my credit card company and see what they can do or at least stop another payment on the 18th. I think it is an actual scam because I have found 3 separate addresses for the company just looking for who they are.

Contact The DA for Austin, Texas

I filed a formal complaint on Tuesday with the Austin, Texas District Attorney's office....I got a reply from Family Protection...aka Hawk Media that my items will be shipped out on Monday...we need to band together and let the DA know that this is NOT acceptable.

Worked for me

Got my shirt after 3 weeks, exactly as stated. No hidden charges ( we watch our accounts constantly) 4 stars because the shirt is cheap lol

  • Nov 9, 2019

They said they were going to give me a free shirt they never did they claimed they were sorry for a transaction that apparently didn’t go through but it went through on my checking account.

  • Nov 6, 2019

Call Your Bank

People! Don't bother emailing or calling these charlatans, CALL YOUR BANK and DISPUTE THE CHARGES. You may have to follow up w a written account of the transaction to your bank, but in most cases your BANK will issue a CREDIT and prevent further charges from clearing

No, I'm no longer waiting for my "EverStrike Match" lol but neither am I expecting future charges bc I used a Visa gift card w only $4 left on it~*

: )

Trust the reviews

Trust the 1 star reviews of the 99.999999% that submitted one. I only saw 1 review that wasn’t 1 star and it was a 5 star. Most likely an employee/owner of the company trying to inflate their online reviews. You would have to hire a full time staff to submit 5 star reviews to even put a dent in the percentage of 1 star reviews. Just like most everyone on this site, I purchased and paid for items and never saw them. It’s been 12 weeks. We will see if they refund me as promised. Very doubtful.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM

I wish i checked before I clicked on the add on YouTube. I ordered a number of items and was told I will receive a call from them for further offers. the guy says they can offer this and that and wanted my card information over the phone. I told him my information is in my order and he gos on how this is a different order but I told him no and he got all pissy. he said i can't get any more offers like it was a big deal. they said 6 to 8 weeks for shipping which at 8 weeks I emailed them and they said it is back-ordered but things will ship. I email them at 10 weeks and they said they can refund my money and whatnot. here we are at 15 weeks now so just emailed them again asking what is up.

Rip off

Charged our card for products not received. Some foreign person supposedly a customer service rep. Can’t understand her and she can’t understand me. I expect we won’t get our refund due. Guess we will have to get a new credit card again

Rip off company for sure

They're luring people in and selling free knowledge for nothing in return. Charged me for shirt and said they were processing order but then turned around and said their system got over loaded and they couldn't fill my order. Messaged seller asking for info or refund and no response.

  • Sep 28, 2019

I asked repeatedly where my order waa; i kept being told they were overwhelmed and then they sent me tracking info with my son's address! i already knew my son had gotten his order. Then, my son told me the monthly gadgets i was paying double for; we're trash, toys.

  • Sep 28, 2019

Never Received my order but I'm sure I got charged!!!Kegh

Terrible! I ordered shirts for myself and my son in another city. He got his after the site denied payment 3x's! Smh... Somehow, mine that went through instantly I NEVER RECEIVED! Everytime I inquire about my order I'm told it's on its way. I tracked it. It was my son's address. So, I never got mine after repeatedly sending FPA my address. I've waited since July for them to understand this bit they never respond accordingly.

How do I cancel...??? HELP!! I also thought the monthly fee was $9.95!! WT$!$! Everyone saying it is $19.99!!

Futher. my son says the stuff is trash just like every4 else on here.

Unbelievable to use a company name of "Family Protection Association," when all they're doing is scamming me and my family!!

How do I get out of this!!!???

Same scam

This company is scamming me as well. Phoned for the second time to cancel and was told they don't ship to Canada. Funny how they accepted my order since I put in an address in Canada!!!!!!!.

I habe been on hold for quite a while during which time the rep is supposedly canceling my order and refunding my card. Time will tell if this happens.
