Ordered a free skincare sample. Read carefully to make sure that there would be no automatic purchases. One week later, my credit cared is billed for almost $90 for an automatic purchase.
I saw a commercial about this eye cream. Was told it was free just pay shipping and handling. So i ordered it. Now They took $89. Out of my account.
Elderly Scam
I did not order a free sample of ZKO Eye Care. However, I order a free trial sample of their skin cream. When I got the package, I was surprised to see the eye cream in with the skin cream. I went back to look at the order and saw it was an additional $5.00 charge so I decided not to make a fuss about it. I ordered the skin cream on September 23, 2017 and it arrived late in the afternoon on October 2, 2017. The shipment took 10 days. That left me with a 4-day trial period. I did not realize that they would automatically charge my account for a full size product when I ordered a sample trial size. When I saw the charge on my credit card billing statement for $89.95 and $85.95, I immediately called the company. They told me there was nothing they could do about the charge as I had waited beyond the 15 day trail period to call and cancel. What a Scam! I disputed the charges with my credit card company, but and they investigated, but were not able to help me. I am 80 years old and on social security and feel this is a fraudulent attempt to scam money from unsuspecting consumers.
ZKO EYECARE SCAM
I ordered samples of ZKO products and paid $4.95 for one and $5.95 for the other. I, too, read everything and there was no mention of having to cancel anything or about automatic purchases. In 6 weeks, they have charged my debit card 4 different times, ranging from $85-94. I called the company and, apparently, they are receiving many calls complaining about this because they have a script they are reading from saying "You agreed to a 14 day trial and to cancel after that if you didn't want to continue." Also, not only have I been charged this much, but I never received anything but my initial sample order...which had no literature in the box about the products or cancelling or even an invoice with the purchase price. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!
