We as in my other half and I our startled to file this.We trusted the Zacks app and so called investment research. Zacks is seen blowing their horn online amongst stocks and investments. Here's the catch they claim they compile their own sound data. Let's face it not even the best can hit home runs but our beef is they don't bother to inform you after a stock tanks every day week and month. There app clearly keeps indicating to buy it. After losing 10-20-30% of our investment we decided to put a call in. My wife sat and listened in with me as I called from the car. We were out through to a so called manager named John knots in their US office. We expressed disappointment saying the stock is a pile why do you keep it as a buy when it's dropped over 20% in 2+ weeks?! " Your being disrespectful he told us and than went into his TelePrompTer babble. We than started saying there should be some online and app responsibility to your investors who use your app.
He hung up on us!?we called back and at that point told him what he was
Our message left the f bomb word. Prior to that we were frustrated but totally above board.
We than placed another call asking for his manager
We advised him we would go online and file this report. "We have been in business for 40 years and have over 700 employees. Why would you want to hurt our organization based on the actions of one employee "He remarked. We replied if your company has been around for 40 years and this person is a manager your corporate culture should be represented at the most basic level"
There was no agreement was ever reached with anything we said. He than started blaming us for yelling when in fact we were not yelling it was merely amplified by our car speaker blue tooth.
Once again we were fed more Zacks corporate bone meal. "Do you know how are information is compiled and so on.
Our main point of conjecture was if you look up the word complicated the definition is pretty much consistent and the same. Once again he evaded all example we set and kept on his Zacks blazed trail. We explained the largest and most powerful brokerages in our area that have been around for over 100 years had information on the same stock that was completely the opposite to what Zacks recommended. Rather than address that concern he than went into objection skill 2. Change the subject. " what kind of success rate do your brokerages have".
Case and point a recommendation is recommendation as ALL the information is available online unless it's inside information. Than again that would be illegal.
So as we would not sit idle and let this 3rd level blow smoke up are rear end you can guess the outcome. Being drunk on the same kool aid we were now difficult and he even had the audacity to tell us in his tenure he had "never had a conversation like this"????!!??
Case and point even if that were the case who speaks to ANYONE kick this in a corporate environment.

Need we say anymore. Zacks has a basic commitment if they are going to tell the world how great they are and use an app. Than they have basic responsibility to maintain the recommendation on their app. Our stock dropped close to 30%. They could have updated the recommendation.
Either way it's our fault for trusting these white collar liars let alone the used car manager treatment. Zacks is a scam and their peoples attitudes dignified that every step of the way. Even if we were as they say difficult they could have used more compassion let some respect. Needless to say you should stay clear of Zacks. They have no idea of who they were taking too. Our family is very prominent in the Chicago area having owned one of the largest company's in Illinois for more than 78 years. We even tried telling this gentleman we are fairly shrewd investors.
We were interrupted with " No your not and spoken over". While we believe this is not an isolated incident but even if it was Zacks sucks! If discourtesy was a stock they'd own it. Ask for Bernie if he's not there you can leave a message his wife will get it to him. Have a nice day Zacks.
