ZGallerie advertised and still advertises that they will mail you a $25 rewards certificate card for every $500 spend on their Comenity credit card, to be used to purchase merchandise at their store. I spent more than $22,500 on my ZGallerie Comenity credit card, and more than $25,000 in total merchandise at ZGallerie (balance on my regular Visa credit card). Through May I had spent $19,900 on the Comenity credit card. ZGallerie claimed that on June 2 they mailed me a rewards certificate in the amount of $975. I received a rewards certificate, but only in the amount of a measly $25! On my personal ZGallerie Comenity web page, it states they mailed me a card for 97,500 points (which equates to $975), which is a LIE!
For the next 2 months, I BEGGED ZGallerie via both numerous phone calls and numerous emails to mail a rewards certificate for the balance owed of $950. They kept delaying and saying they had no control over the situation, and I got pushed from one person to another to another. Also, ZGallerie kept blaming Comenity Bank, saying it was their fault, and Comenity Bank said the same thing about ZGallerie...with me the customer in the middle getting screwed!
Finally, on Aug 2 it states on my account that they mailed a certificate for 112,500 points ($1,125), as I had foolishly spent a few more thousands dollars on their merchandise and using the Comenity credit card.
AGAIN, I only received a rewards certificate for $25, NOT $1,125! So now ZGallerie owes me $1,100.
For the past month, I have ONCE AGAIN been continuously calling and emailing about when am I going to receive what they claim they have mailed to me?! I keep getting the run-around, over and over and over again.
I am in Northern Virginia and purchased all items at the store in Tysons Corner, VA. The Management at the store has not been able to help us either; they said we need to speak with corporate in California.
I do not expect to ever receive the $1,100 that is due to us.
Bottom Line...I would avoid this company AT ALL COSTS. They are a SCAM OUTFIT. They are also CRIMINALS. They have violated Consumer Rights laws by advertising (still) $25 rewards for every $500 spent on their credit card, but then don't pay you it. And then claim they are sending the correct amount but only sending a measly $25 when they owe you umore than $1,000!
