I usually dont write reviews or complain but this one is BIG. I want to warn other potential victems of world of decor as this company already HURT and scam many victims across the country.
Just google worlf of decor and read the customers reviews ,it SPEAKS for ITSELF. I purchased a chandelier at world of decor Dallas 13420 Midway Rd Dallas TX 75244 january 2019, fits of all BE AWARE.
This is a furniture store that runs FAKE AUCTIONS, and if you read the reviews for world od decor you will see that many people confirm this, It is well known based on what I saw and people reports hat there are fake bidders in Audience who run the prices up.
I purchased a chandelier for over $ 6000 and I was told my item will be deliereved friday. It took them three days to deliver, finally after we called many times we were told the items will be delivered at night and we called they found out the items are not even in the truck.
Delivery was very unprofessional and simply a disaster. We received the $ 6000 chandelier broken in few areas, one arm was broken completley; world decor promissed to fix the problem and install it for free but that never happened. It was the biggest mistake to keep the chandelier.
After endless calls and texts, all we got was empty promises and they never bothered even to take it back or refund us. The case is forwarded to a lawyer now but i highly recommned to stay away from Word of decor store or online.
You never know what you will get and your hard earned money will be gone. Report world of decor to BBB, department of justice, Federal Trade comisssion, local consumer protection offices and inform your Attornet general and file a consuler complaint.
Dont let this business Ripoff you, REPORT THEM AS MUCH YOU CAN TO PROTECT OTHER VICTIMS!
