Have received several phone calls from 646-596-3325 claiming that they are Windows Tech Support and that my computer has malicious malware and that they can no longer send updates to my Windows Program. They want me to logon to my computer so that they can access it and manually fix the problem. I told them I would get back to them as I was not home at the time I have gone on my computer and checked and am recieving updates just fine.
Women called several times saying she was from windows tech support. The first time she called i told her i did not contact tech support and then i hung up. The same person called back 3 or 4 times again and the i looked online and seen that several other people have reported this scam from the same phone number or similar all starting with 646, which is new york area code.
