Stay away from this company, if your time and money are dear to you! they either pay with huge delays or do not pay at all, but tell you you are one of thei best linguists.

The company has a terrible record of paying its linguists late. Right now, they are 11 days overdue and they do not care about their linguists getting bank overdraft for not being able to pay their bills on time.

They say, "You are one of our most preferred linguists" (HR Manager); or they say, "I do not know what is going on, I know I would pay you if I could," (Gino, PM Manager for USA); or, how about this one: "You are one of our preferred linguists, and so sorry to see this happen to you. I just talked to Sascha Wagner (the owner) and he reassured me that you will get paid right away!" (HR). But no, the payment is not made.

I worked for them over 2 years and only a handful of times did they pay as promised, on the 10th. But they were never late by this much! They purposely recruit rookies who may not be experienced enough to only accept work flor which they have a signed contract. Right now, they owe me about 3,000 with another 3,300 already partially billed (except for work done in this month), and they know what they are doing is perfectly illegal, but they hope that people like me have no other choices but to wait it out, in the hope of getting more work from them in the future.

The finances are handled by a Natalia Wagner who is a family member of the owner. She is saying that "Sascha had to step out of the office (as if he would be there regularly but no, he appears to be traveling all the time) because he has to renew some banking key that expired." Why would a change to the bank access code take 11 days, they do not have an answer to this question.

They pay some of the lowest per word compensation to linguists, have last-minute, urgent deadlines for the majority of their projects, and then even that is not paid in a reliable manner. How they can get away with this and still remain in business, is beyond me. Additionally, the company's HQ office is hard to find, as they do not publicly list any firm address. If they do these things to their so-called favorite linguists, I do not even dare to find out what they can do to those who deliver less than perfect translations! Stay away from this company. They are scam artists. My lawyer is looking into this right now, but in the interim, I cannot pay my bills and Wagner knows it!

I was contacted through up Work by a woman named Grace from a job that i applied.

A few weeks later I was invited by e-mail to do 2 translation from english to portuguese.

They told me that i should make an invoice and sent to specific email adress, which I did.

i was informed that they only pay in the next month, between 26 and 10.

I delivery my jobs in September I was to be paid on the 10th of November.

I contcted the case manager Gino, who told me that had checked my invoices and that i would receive my payment till the 10th of November through paypal, following the payment guidelines. This did not happend, they failled the payment and i beleive i've been ripoff!

The same contact

I contacted Grace several times but got the same reply: "Lately several of our large clients have delayed payments to us, we apologize the current situations and try to speed up the process ,,,"

They will never pay. Stay clear of them.

Wagner is a scam

I worked for them for about 8 months and provided translation for over 1,000$. They suddenly stopped sending me new tasks when my fist invoice was overdue. I submitted jy invoice about 5 ago and still did not receive any payment. They are despicable, none of the project managers even answer my emails.

Wagner International is a fraud, they owe me almost 4,500

The company hires freelancers for doing translations. They either pay late or do not pay at all. Employ many of their family members in important positions, including finances, and do not communicate in response to enquiries as to when the payment will finally be made? Stay away, unless you have time and money to waste!

Unethical company

As a former staff member, I will only advice to steer clear of this company. The unethical treatment of its staff is beyond comprehension, starting with the salary, which is well below the Federal Poverty Line, and that is why they only hire from third-world countries. Notwithstanding the very low pay, the lack of communication between managers and higher managers to staff is next to none. This means that these people can do very much whatever they want behind the backs of the staff, and notifying about any changes after the fact. This is quite unethical and not the decent thing to do. Coupled with the poor reliability when paying to free-lancers, this company is not good to work in, as staff or free-lancer.

NO PAYMENT AGAIN - Project ID: WI-INT 2-US1.SUB1.1003-CHMNCS-0816-21

Last August I did a job to Mr. Tulio Figueroa of 126,00 USD and the invoice was sent as usual. It's now the 19th November and they never answer to my emails.

This is getting weird having to beg to be paid...

I've nothing else to say, they are despicable

I worked for Wagner Consulting International in June/July 2017. My task was to translate some texts for their web site into Italian. They didn't pay me at all. When I contacted them in order to ask for explanations, they replied that there would be delays in their payments because of the hoidays of some member of the staff. The "delay" is still on today.

Yet anoter scam victim

They owe me about $2,000, due 10 months ago. I don't believe ever seeing that money, but I'm anyway contacting the primary customer (Huge international company) to hear their view of this issue.

My advice: stay away

I was contacted today (June 19, 2019) about working for Wagner Consulting again. I worked for them when I first started as a translator back in 2006. The pay wasn't great, but I was OK with that as I was starting out. My contact was Sascha Wagner. Things went OK for the first year/year and a half, then the payments started coming later and later and finally I had to threaten legal action to get payment for two very big jobs. Even though that occurred many years ago, I told them today that I saw that their track record apparently hadn't improved any over the years and that I had no desire to work with them again. In fact this isn't the first time they've contacted me since 2008 or whenever it was, can't remember exactly. But I certainly remember how they shafted me! I never did collect all that they owed me. I would give them less than 1 star as a rating if that were possible.

I've never dealt with a company that is so scurilous. You can do lots of checking (as I just have) and find the same story everywhere.

The company says to use their invoice template and they will pay in 30 days. When the invoice becomes overdue, you email the accounting department. Never any answers.

The same with their email.

[email protected]

We are business partners and this is the only translation agency we have ever worked with that is hard to contact for payment. As another person has written, the CEO (Sascha Wagner) and the person in charge of finances (Natalia Wagner) are clearly identified as scam artists.

I hope this report will help potential customers avoid this company.

I had performed a few different translation jobs for wagner international before i sent my first invoice. All was sent as directed in the i voicing guidlines. I waited a few weeks after payment was due and then sent a reminder. After sending a few i threatened to go public with my findinns about them after reading reviews and all of a sudden they paid my first invoice. In the mean time just before i sent a reminder i performed another translation for around $300,- still until today i have not been paid for this amount. I should have researched the company more before performing such large translations.

Wagner consulting is such a scam, non payer!!!!! as far as i’m concerned

On November last I did a lot of jobs to Wagner Consulting LLC, and they were carried out as urgent. So I did, and the jobs were done most of them during the night and on weekends, to fulfill their deadlines to the clients.

The jobs in question were assigned by Ms. Aya Arafa and ms. Carmen Linares, Project Managers.

The rates were very cheap with the excuse that they were a low budget (it seems to be the worldwide excuse for low and cheap rates). I even offer one job that took me 3 long hours and was technical - engineering which is my scope of expertise. The amount due was 13,00 USD which I refused to accept. I'm sure the client has paid.

The end of February is almost ended and I only was paid today the fortune of 53,00 of almost 400 USD they are owing me in total.

After many emails to everyone, and having no answers, Ms. Natalia send me an email stating they were going to be paid this month on the 26th payment cycle. Today I realized that I am not going to get the rest of the amount.

This is unbearable, I've been waiting and waiting, and nothing! I feel like I'm begging for my rights.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT?

Thank you so much, with my kind regards

Don't bother

There is not much to add to the previous comments/rating here, as my experience with Wagner Consulting International is 100% conform with what has been written. If you want to get paid for your work, go somewhere else.

Stay away from them- they don't pay

They ignore submitted invoices and instead send excuses like "Lately several of our large clients have delayed payments to us, we apologize the current situations and try to speed up the process ,,,"

Questions/requests result in the same response and they never pay. If they send a request, ignore it. You will never get paid.

NO PAYMENT AGAIN - Wagner Consulting International mere pure scam

Non-payment of fulfilled translations

Also, I had to deal with the non-payment of previous translation service regarding this company "Wagner Consulting International". Despite numerous messages and reminders, the bill from April 2019 has not been paid yet.

Numerous reminders have been sent to the e-mails [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected];

With the result, that I have never received an answer from Wagner Consulting International.

With the exception of further job invitations to ("translate for free")

Absolutely dubious!

Wagner action due to non-payment

Hi there,

I'm writing on behalf of a large (and growing) group of Wagner translators who have not been paid. Collectively, the debt runs into the tens of thousands.

If you have been affected, please join us. Send an e-mail to: [email protected] with your:

Full name

Amount owed by Wagner

If we work together, we shall have much better bets with taking on this company and getting paid. Legal action if necessary.

Also, if you have contact details of any Wagner clients, then please send them to me, - we will need to threaten Wagner into paying us, - they are a nasty beast.
