1) The service didn't work with mobile phones. I was consistently unable to talk with mobile phones during my time with this company. I believe others have had similar experiences since the company sent several emails apologizing for their service:
"An apology from VOIPo"
"Recently, we've had quite a few service issues come up intermittently that have caused issues with our service or various calling features for many of you. With any technology there will always be hiccups from time to time, but lately we've had more issues than usual and that's not acceptable."
2) I've cancelled their service and as I'm trying to move on they rebilled me for an entire new 2 year period. They state that this is until I've returned their device but in my view, if they wanted security in that respect they would bill for the cost of the device not full 2 years of service. I believe that they are overbilling and hoping for a mistake or oversight on my part.
I believe there is a reason VOIPo bills you upfront. You would end up cancelling quickly if you were month 2 month.
