VO Financial Corporation Reviews

  • May 14, 2016

On May 30th 2012,I signed a contract with VO Financial saying they would get me out of the contract I had with Wyndham that I was pressured into I feel in the first place to purchase,. I paid on this timeshare for roughly 3 years or so 230.00 plus maintaince fees also. Never used it owed 10,000 at the time and the said the would take care of everything if I paid them half of what I owed. At the time they financed half of the 5000. And I put the other half on my discover card thinking all was taken care of. Called them numerous times cause kept getting my monthly bills and they said that they would take care of it in 175 days and for me not to do anything. I called them back after that and the man I spoke with said that the other guy had moved on to another department in another state but he assured me that he would do his best to help me so once again I sent him the bills I was getting by fax and he said to give him time to check out everything .

.i didn't get a bill from Wyndham for a couple months after that but then I started getting them again saying I was really behind on my payments so I called them to tell them I had hired VO to take care of this matter for me and they said they hadn't had a record of that but they would note that so a couple months went by again and I started getting more outstanding bills so once again I contacted them and he assured me it was taken care of but it wasn't noted on my credit yet. Well it's still on my credit now as outstanding and I have never used it and I can't afford it .It is showing up on two of my credit reports but not the third. It's not something I wanted and I felt pressured into buying it at the time. I'm still paying on my credit card but of course they ,VO has been paid in full for something they claimed they would take care of because that's what they do,but they haven't one anything. I as trying to do the right thing and tell them both that I had made a huge mistake and got into something I have regretted ever since. I still have never used it .its still on my credit report as no payments which I still cannot afford nor do I want it. The timeshares themselves are a rip off by pressuring you into buying them in one afternoon of setting you up to listen to them on how good they are but I don't get vacations enough to justify paying almost 400. A month for. I would have heck of a vacation if I could spend 400.a month . That in itself is unrealistic . I just want out . I want this off my credit I want nothing more to do with co that just want my hard earned and I do mean hard earned.money. If there is a way to have this happen thru letting others know what scum these people are I hope you can. Thank you for your time

VO Finnancial said that due to timeshare companies lying to us to get us to buy their timeshares and offer loans we couldn't qualify for, we would pay them $5,000 to $7,000 and we filled out forms and they could get us released from our timeshares.

All were Wyndham timeshares.

We were released from 3 or 4 ownerdhips, and thought we were released from all of them, but our credit reports say we owe over $89,000 for a Wyndham timeshare.

All were sold to us by Wyndham.

Our credit reports are in ruin and we thought we were free of them. All were still open, but we are disputing them.

We signed up about 5 years ago. We made a lot of payments until they got them closed.

VO finnancial (group) owes us money back or to take care of this problem.

We were originally scammed by Wyndham which almost sent us into a bancrupt situation. We were then contacted by VO Financial (which we are beginning to believe is conected to Wyndham). They promised to get us out of all financial responsibility with Wyndham with no marks on our credit. Well, we gave back $265,000 worth of points to Wyndham which they will resell at double that price. We eventually did get a deed in liue of foreclosure. However, the other owner of the property had a forelosure added to her credit and now she is having all kinds of financial troubles. We hope that at some point someone can come up with a way to stop all of these Giants that scam people and return some of the money that was taken from us.
