Tv keeps cutting off won't stay on never in my life have i had such a bad product will not be buying again do yourself a favor and never purchase anything from this company I haven't ever did anything to the tv it magically decides when it won't to work and when it doesn't I spent over $450 of my hard earned money for this terrible product they gave a one year warranty which means by the time it goes out you'll be paying out of pocket

July 2015 I purchased a 70" Vizio TV . August 2017 this $1600 tv has sound but no picture. Vizio support was eager to let me know tvs out of warranty, but I can buy another one discounted to $900. As I research the tv problem I discover there's a recall on this tv, but they're not going to fix it it unless the tv goes out. Well mine is out and they say "sorry" you are out of warranty. TV's should last at least 2 years. This is very upsetting. Their known faulty board only costs $18, but a lot of aggravation for me. It is not right to treat a consumer this way. Vizio sucks. Do not buy.

I have a Vizio flat screen model E60 -C3. I purchased it in May of 2015. A couple months ago I noticed a rectangular shadow in the upper right corner of the picture. It has grown to a 1/4 of the picture and now another from side to side in the center. They told me that since it was past the first year warranty that all they could do was sell me a new one for over 700 dollars and free shipping. I said that's not an acceptable solution. They said I should have bought the extended warranty. The next offer was the same tv for $590 or an upgraded model for $810. Mind you, these prices are $20-30 less than Wal-Mart or Costco. I understand about the one year warranty, but come on! The tv lasted barely 6 months after the 1 year! I have looked and found other complaints about this very issue. I can't afford to fork out another $700 for a new set every year and a half! Nor should I be required to. I am NOT of the throw away, disposable mentality generation of today. When I pay good money for something I expect it to last a while! So I'm hoping that the more I tell about the defective products vizio is selling and the lack of concern about customer satisfaction they display, they will take notice. Thank you.

My VIZIO TV I bought at an electronics retail store April 2016 was acting up. Often, it wouldn't turn on. Also, Netflix would sometimes load a movie to 25% and then stop. I would have to turn the TV off and back on to get it to work again.

I e-mailed VIZIO. Todd Marshall responded and told me to call him. I called Todd Marshall numerous times on the following dates below.

-12/10/16 2:33PM

-12/9/16 12:06PM

-And other days and times

I e-mailed VIZIO again informing them that I have not been able to reach them. I received an e-mail from Jesse Dorn to call him. I called Jesse Dorn at VIZIO numerous times as well on the following days and times:

-12/16/16 4:58PM

-12/16/16 9:13AM

-12/15/16 5:13PM

None of these times have I reached either of these individuals at VIZIO. Some of the times I left voice mails.

I filed a Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint to get VIZIO to respond in writing.

VIZIO sent the following reply to the BBB:

Dear Better Business Bureau Representative:

VIZIO, Inc. ("VIZIO") is in receipt of the Better Business Bureau's ("BBB") notice regarding complaint number 11912750. As always, VIZIO takes any complaint reported to the BBB very seriously.

Please be advised that VIZIO has determined that the VIZIO television in question in this complaint is out of warranty as it was refurbished by another company than Vizio. A copy of VIZIO's warranty can be viewed online at www.vizio.com/warranty. The complainant has avoided contact with Vizio management repeatedly, and refuses to confirm information with us. The complainant provided a picture, to us and to the BBB, which clearly shows a sticker that states it has no Vizio warranty, that was provided by the refurbishment company.

At VIZIO, the quality of our products is very important to us. We rely on and appreciate product feedback from our customers and encourage anyone who has questions about or problems with our products to contact us at vizio.custhelp.com/ for information and assistance.

I purchased a 70 inch TV two years ago. The screen went black. I looked up them on the internet and saw they have a recall for their 70 inch TVs due to this problem. On their web site they claim they will replace the defective TVs with a new TV. When I contacted the company they ask for a proof of purchase. I told them after two years I cannot find my receipt. So without that they will do nothing. Its ridiculous as they know by the model number etc that it is their tv. I paid over $1,600 for this TV and not they wont do anything about it even knowing that they have this problem with their large screen TV. I will never buy another Vizio product and if a class action suit is filled, I will surely join.

So I bought this Vizio TV, Model # E55i-A0 about a year ago and Monday I came home from work turned my TV on and it's a huge black line down the left side of it. No one had been home and it was fine before leaving for work that morning. I called the Customer Support line and filed a claim and he said he would respond on 48 to 72 hours. I received a call back Friday stating it was my fault and I wouldn't be covered. I stated what happened again and then he said oh well purchase another one you got ur monies worth any way it's a over a year old. This company has had several complaints about this particular model and they don't care. I will never purchase another Sony brand anything especially Vizio. All I wanted was a replacement TV or my screen fixed. I'm afraid my other 3 Vizio tvs that I bought at the same time are going to do the same thing.

Had bought a t.v. in December of 2013 and it is now October 2015. The t.v. cost almost seven hundred dollars, and was the second Vizio product we purchased. Now one year and nine months after the purchase the t.v. stopped working while watching t.v. Vizio reffered us to a repair company since it was out of warranty, the quote was priced borderline the cost of a new t.v. Vizio claimed they could only offer a discount on a refurbished product. I applied for an out of warranty exemption and was denied since it was "way" out of warranty. My complaint is that a one year warranty is not adequate for something that costs several hundred dollars, this is the second t.v. from them that has stopped working within two years. I made my case with them up to talking to the executive resolutions manager and was told it is not going to happen that it was a matter of dates and they would help me other than offering me a used item for almost five hundred dollars which is no deal. When you spend six or seven hundred dollars on something you don't expect to replace it less than two years later. I would be understanding more if this wasn't the second "its out of warranty and we can't help you" that I have heard. Wy would I give them more money, I have already given them six hundred for this product alone.
