Vindale Research Reviews

Vindale is an internet based survey sponsor whereby participants, (such as myself), can choose from a list of surveys to complete on their computer in exchange for cash compensation. The compensation can range from about .20 cents, up to five plus dollars, although the latter figure is a rare occurrence.

The funds accumulate in each participants account, and, upon accruing a minimum of $50, the participant can request a payout in the form of payment to their Paypal account, or a mailed check. The survey lists always display the payout amount for a given survey, as well as an estimated time for completion, which may be two minutes to in excess of 30 minutes. (These estimates are usually wildly inaccurate, to the detriment of the participant.)

Sometimes, I will complete a survey and receive my compensation without incident. Occasionally, I will complete a survey and receive no compensation, without explanation, except for a message stating that I had 'failed'.

More recently, Vindale has begun engaging in a 'bait and switch' scam. For instance, I may choose to complete a survey with a payment advertised as $1.75. Upon successful completion of the survey, however, I will only be awarded .20 cents. This has begun happening with increasing frequency. Vindale's 'customer service' exists in name only.

They have a payment dispute form literally buried on their website, and it is incredibly, (intentionally?), difficult to complete. Every field on the form MUST be filled out, even though several of them have absolutely nothing to do with a payment claim. I have tried emailing their customer service dept. directly, and have never received a reply.

There is even a direction on the contact page which says that if your inquiry has anything to do with a payment dispute, you must fill out the dispute form, instead. Good luck with that! I am only one person. Vindale may have tens of thousands of participants.

If they are engaging in these shady, and illegal, tactics with everyone, and there's no reason to think they aren't, the amount of money they are illicitly pocketing must be staggering! If ever there was a company deserving of a class action lawsuit, it is Vindale!

Vindale surveys is a scam!

BEWARE: VINDALE SURVEYS IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

I spent hours and hours and hours taking surveys, 80% of them going to completion and not paying after spending so much time. I finally made the required $50 necessary for PayPal payment. When I went to payments, Vindale informed me that they don’t credit your PayPal account, but instead, send a check in the mail, maybe in about 15 days.

I then asked customer service to please credit my Paypal account as told they would do upfront. Vindale then canceled my account and will not pay the $50 that I spent countless hours to complete.

This company boasts to pay individuals for filling out surveys. Once you sign up, you will start getting an unlimited amount of emails inviting you to take a survey. I have noticed that sometimes there can be up to 50-60 emails from Vindale in one day. When you open an email and click on the "take survey" link, you are redirected to to the survey in question.

Note that the take survey link will describe the amount of money the survey is paying and the amount of time required to complete the survey. However, the amount of pay in the description is never what it says it is and therefore an educated guess is that the org offering the survey is willing to pay the amount in the description and Vindale takes a portion of that pay for themselves.

You can never fill out all the surveys offered in the emails, because usually more than half of the invitations either become instantly no longer available or after wasting 10-15 mins answering questions they tell you that you don't qualify for the survey in question. I personally wasted a few months of my time, each day a few hours filling out surveys until I get 1-3 of them that let me complete the survey (usually the low end pay ones will go through).

It should be noted that while sitting at my computer, I will be notified of a new survey and I would immediately respond and many times it would say that the survey is no longer available despite telling me it is just a few seconds prior and then kick me to a survey that will pay only a few cents. After a few months, I submitted a request for a pay out.

Wow! They do not allow you to get all of the money you built up into your account, they allow only a portion of it. They send you the monies via pay pal (or so they claim). I waited and waited for days, checking pay pal multiple times per day....nothing! Vindale boasts that you can contact them via chat, phone, email.

There is no chat, their listed phone number does not have live people and only canned responses telling ya to send an email and good luck trying to get any response to emails. Multiple emails over the course of a couple of weeks gained no replies. So what exactyly did they do?

They wasted my time, after requesting a pay out they deducted my account and then they never paid.

This company offers to pay you to take surveys. Then after you take their surveys, they tell you that you don't qualify to take the survey. Then they have an automated apology, and offer you more money they never intend to pay you.

I signed up for vindale research 3 months ago. Elizabeth told me when I make $600 that I would need to provide my I.D. and 2 other forms of identification and file a W-2 form. I said to myself ok since I wouldnt be using them that long. Vindale research paid me for 2 months everything was good, But this 3rd month they wanted to play their scam games in order not to pay me. Elizabeth said there was suspisious activity on my account, (This is how vindale gets you) They send you survey emails to your email which will direct you to surveys, The scam is that vindale knows that when you click on surveys through email that you are not signed into vindale research just because of that it will cause suspisious activity on your account. This is the tool vindale uses to not pay you. Then Vindale will tell you that their is suspisious activity on your account that you need to provide 3 forms of I.D. 1) Update your phone number 2) Photo copy your I.D. 3) Give them your SSN# You dont have to give them any type of I.D. at all until you reach $600 So what Vindale does is have you click on surveys through your email so you do surveys and wont be signed into vindale research which makes it look like suspisious activity on your account. They will use this scam not to pay you, To lock you out of your account, and to get your personal information for their scam uses. Stay away from Vindale Research they will reel you in for your 1st few payments then will scam you in order not to pay you. Ive seen these type of complaints against vindale research but I didnt believe it, I now wish I did.
