They also state in their letter "Although our organization's registerd addrss is in Fredonia, Wisconsin, please use the mailing address provided on the payment coupon. That sounded suspicious as well. I researched them online and found your site with 5 other complaints that they are frauds.

Once they have your credit card number they will continue to make repeated periodic unauthorized charges in varying dollar amounts. A search of the organization online found other similar complaints as well as previous media reports about the organization's scam practices. I hope that the organization turns out to be legitimate, however all indications I have is that they are not and that have a history of scamming.
I realized the mistake I made in contributing by phone to the agency that hit me up. My vulnerability to Veterans cause led me to do this ignorant thing.US Veterans Assistance for Fredonia now has my VISA number and expiration date as well as my name and I want to make sure they don't get anything else. I intend to contact my credit card company about this mistake.
