We stayed at the Value Place on Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville,NC for a few years. Our experience was terrible. Amos, the manager tried to charge us for services that we didn't request,like linen exchange. Also Tina,the housekeeper, was supposed to be maid service, which we paid for, and only given when she chose to do so. The advertized maid service was supposed to be once every two weeks but she only would clean our room when we went and complained to Amos himself. Also over this time the police have been there so many times because he insists on renting rooms to undesirable people and in spite
of our complaints and others complaints about doors slamming during late hours,disruptive people who have to be called upon by law enforcement to be removed and unstable individuals who harass guests,he does absolutely nothing about it . I don't recommend anyone stay here. To verify how many times the police have been here,one only has to call the Fayetteville Police and ask to see the number of incidents reported at Value Place in the last five years. It's an abomination that shouldn't be allowed to operate a business.

ValuePlace/Woodspring Suites Plainfield and Indianapolis and many we have stayed at are pretty terrible just poorly run cheapo cardboard and paper walls with no screening of who or what they let in!
Value Place Scammed and overcharged us and we were lied to and cheated out of our deposit and charged over $200.
The worse place on earth...noise,crazy people with people smoking in every hall,doorway,lobby,stairway..drunks all over sleeping in hallways.
Slamming doors! Every Door in these places slams like large explosions going off continuously.. you will never sleep.
Yelling all night... police and fire was there several times... ...doors slamming people fighting 24/7.
We talked to several people and confirmed Mgmt is useless and throws out people illegally and keeps their money if they complain as we heard a manger screaming and cussing at two senior citizens in wheelchairs about fees and deposits they were keeping and evicted them and threatened to call police when the old folks were polite and did not deserve such a attack!
Bugs,roaches,ants rates,fees changing you will never know what you owe from day to day or when your check out date is only when they hit you with a 100.00 late fee and your rate doubles or triples!
Creepy Criminal Activity low rent feel.. drunks singing Spanish all night long. The noise was unbearable on both sides above and below with couples screaming,fighting and slamming doors every 5 secs all night until 6am. We called security nothing was done ignored!
We had to leave early and find another hotel. The lobby was closed often and was told limited hours. We did not get a refund and they hit us with all kinds of fees and damages even though we did nothing.
What happened to good customer service when people are paying good money and you are providing a service in a competitive market???????????
As a business traveler...WE have traveled all over the world and have never seen such a terrible hotel! Value Place is a million times worse than I ever experienced!
People there cannot drive or park without hitting your new car and blocking you in and beating the crap out of your car.
Value Place hotels are made of paper and are so noisy you hear everything above,below,both sides like they are sitting next to you!
And the kind of people they let in.....OMG!
There is much more but, this is getting long......just skip this place they are greedy money hungry people and corporations!
We were being deployed to Iraq to fight the war on terror and were going cross country and needed a resting place. So we saw this sign being poor soldiers and stopped in. The check in was worse than water boarding requiring all kinds of ID and background checks like we were working for the CIA or Guarding the President and signing our lives away with all kinds of disclaimers....but, we could not go on.
When we got to our rooms there were fights and doors slamming and people smoking on a non-smoking floor and noise of people jumping like elehhants doing jumping jacks!
Our room was not clean and there were bugs everywhere but, we wer tired and had slept outside with sand fleas before in Iraq War Zone!
There was banging below and above us and on both sides of us like a big party or horses fighting! You hear every wisper!
We did not sleep well! Kids and peeps running up and down halls screaming and drunks laying all over with foreigners talking on phones up and down the halls loudly!
When we complained we were asked to leave and was told deposit could not be refunded and they started getting violent and the manager said we had damged the room which was complete lies yet they charged us 367.
Never had any of us in our party seen a hotel like this one that you see with good reviews that are obviously made up lies! Some old folks living there said there are always tons of complaints but, they were homeless and on welfare paying their bills like the other people there they stated.
I would not advise this place. We are all honorable soldiers who got scammed by a terrible greedy place. We contacted our travel dept and reported this place and was told they have heard numerous complaints about these place nation wide!
