Vacation Inspirations Reviews

  • Nov 15, 2017

They are not what they claim to be. Unfortunately, walking into 229 Meeting St. thinking it was the Chamber of Commerce, we too were convinced to listen to a brief talk on how to save for vacations. The vacations were to be all Four and five star resorts. After looking them up on the Internet, they were anything but what they described . To get a true picture of the business just read on the Internet complaints about them. My purpose in writing this is for you not to give up on your money spent. File a report with the Better Business Bureau, the attorney generals of the state of South Carolina, your credit card company, the city of Charleston, do not take no for an answer. When they tell you to hire an attorney, Don’t give up. Write back to these agencies. Go to the top. Look up the state of Georgia and how they were fined in that state and also in San Antonio Texas. Mention this in your report. I feel you don’t need to lose your money. You just have to be diligent and Not give up. Even if you Bought a long time ago, reopen your case. Just this year there are 17 cases filed against them with the South Carolina department of consumer affairs. To read them put in Vacation Inspirations and search complaints. How can this agency find in their behalf and not in yours. Ask! The time has come for you the consumers to get protection. Demand it!

Vacation Inspirations are absolute SCAM ARTISTS.

While visiting Charleston, you maybe walking down the street looking in doorways for a community service company

to give you brochures of the highlights of Charleston.

IF you walk by their doorway, you'll be lured in by a likeable person offering help with many brocures of attractions in Charleston. Then you'll be asked if you would care to join an informal gathering where they will tell you about the benefits of using their travel services.

They'll offer you free tickets to local attractions.

$200. credit to use in the restaurant of your choice - IF you attend.

Don't say Yes - Run Away

IF you agree to this, they'll make an appointment for you, where you'll be in a room with a nice fellow explaining that they are not a time share seller - that they offer exceptionally discount pricing on air, rooms and all other travel expenses. In fact as a bonus they will let you book anywhere in the world you'd like to go - at whatever condo/hotel you'd like to stay in for the amount of between $800 and $1200. If you ask them about a particular island you'd like to go to - they'll tell you yes, we book there all the time. If you ask about a particular facility/condo/hotel that you'd like to stay at - they'll do their checking which takes several minutes and come back and tell you - YES, we do.

Now the kicker...

Their pricing starts at $8995. to join this vacation club - but if you don't agree, the price starts falling faster than a ton of bricks off the empire state building - that will get you to $3995.

If you agree, they'll fill out the paperwork, you'll request again about that special property you've always wanted to go to or have been before, but would like to spend considerably less - they'll tell you again, that they checked and it is available.

Now a few days later after this, you've returned home and decided on the future date you'd like to travel for this inexpensive vacation - so you call them. No one answers, you leave a message, a day goes by and you finally get to speak to someone that asks you to e-mail them your request, which you do - only to find out after another day or two passes that the airfare and weeks condo charge is Much More than you spent before, in fact twice the price.

You tell their rep this and also tell them that you were supposed to receive 'special pricing' as you're a member - they say "Oh, you have to call this number" which you do - only to find out that you need to go thru the same process again. Once they receive your e-mail and respond in a few days - they tell you "that island is not available on our program", then they say once you're speaking to the man in charge in his laughing voice "what do you think you'd be getting, we can't afford to sell for that price"

You then call a special number that was given to you on a separate pc of paper - that says "IF you have any problems with our company or service, give us a call at this number."

You call that number and once again - no one answers, so you leave a message. WELL THEN THEY HAVE THEIR ATTORNEY CALL YOU, making disparaging accusations of you - that Turds name is David Levine, Atlanta Georgia

Go and read the BBB postings about this company, be sure and go to complaints - Cause there are 1000's.

On July 6th my family and I visited SC for the first time . We were approach by a sales representative in downtown Charlestown, offering ideas and recommendations to tourist of places to eat and things to do . He also mention if we have the time we can sit through a 60 min presentation on a vacation club and in return get a $75.00 check and a free horse carriage ride . He insisted that its not a time share and there was no obligation to buy . We decided to go and was shown a video of high end vacation destinations for as little as $600.00 for a week . It was an opportunity of a life time for a one time fee of $4995.00 if we sign up that same day . Because I am a NYC police officer he offer me additional discount waving the document fees for the year . We sign the contact and headed back to our hotel which we wanted to book our first trip . We call customer service number no answer , we left voice messages . We contact member services no answer and left several voice messages . We then proceeded to research the company "vacation inspirations " and found that this is a scam , so many negative reports and tried reaching out to the office leaving messages for managers no response . The next day customer service call me and expresses my concerns and told me that I cannot cancel my membership and try to book a vacation . I tried to give them the Benifit of the doubt and look into s 2 bedroom condo the prices was outrageous and triple what I could have gotten from the Internet search engine my self . There is no deals with this company the take your money and have someone call you bs k 12 hours after Giving you prices that's rediciloius . We also discovered and everyone paid a different membership fee . This is just a scam .this company changes their name and should not get away with taking people's money and nothing in return .
