When we returned from our cruise we waited an hour and a half for a shuttle to carry us the one mile to the US1 parking lot. One shuttle arrived during that time and was immediately flooded by those waiting to board. In the meantime we saw "Park and Go" shuttles arrive every ten minutes. We had gotten off the ship as soon as possible because we had an 850 mile drive ahead of us. But after waiting an hour and a half and seeing only one shuttle, we realized that it might another hour or two before the next one arrived--and that it would probably fill up before we could board. We paid ten bucks for a cab ride to the parking lot.
We cruise one to three times a year and depend on reports from fellow travelers to avoid fiascos such as this one. We can't get our ten bucks back, and We can't get our 72 bucks for a motel back (because of our severely delayed departure), but we can get the satisfaction of warning fellow travelers about this horrid customer service.
I parked my vehicle at this location for a weekend trip to save money. When I returned to Fort Lauderdale airport and called for pick up I was told 10 minutes, after 30 minutes I called back and was told they are shorth help and dont have anyone to pick me up that I should take a taxi and they will pay the fee. When I returned to the parking lot to pick up my car therre was another vehicle parked into my vehicle. I called the police to file a report and was told that this wasnt the first time there was damage to a parked car. I was told by the manager to get an estimate and he will take care of it. The damage to my car was approx $500. I have called this place more than 20 times with no response from the owner or manager. I have called and called and messages are left. I will now be forced to small claims court to settle this issue. Pay more at airport me trying to save money cost me more. Pay now or save now pay later. Shame on this company.........
