My husband ordered two pairs of virtual glasses and two back packs about a month ago. When the time came, we tracked the packages to the US Post Office in Oxon Hill, Md., then from there to our front door (we live in an apartment), but we never received our packages. No package was left at the door. No note warning us of any missed delivery. Nothing. When I spoke with someone, they said that THAT was their policy, to leave the package at the door if no one answers. Nevermind that the packages could have been stolen. But what happened to the good old days when one could pick their packages up if a delivery failed?
Forward today, Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Just realized I should be expecting a pair of shoes from my daughter. Tracked the package. Delivered to our one bedroom apartment on the first floor yesterday, May 23 . I have not seen my package. I have been home all week. No one knocked on my door. No one left a 'missed delivery' note. Nothing. The Post Office does not seem concerned. I see that I am not the only one according to the other complaints. Can someone help us? Someone needs to be held accountable!!
