As a resident of a mobile home park, I am forced to use this company to pay for my water. My very first bill was a shut off notice the month after I moved in for a whopping 43 cents.. not dollars... cents.. From then on they have been at my door every single month to shut off my water. Two months in a row they have disconnected my services and charged me $60 to turn the water off, then another $60 to turn it back on.. I have fought to have them check and see whats going on, keep being told it's not their problem and to take it up with my landlord. Well, the problem is, my landlord directs me back to them. This is a fight every month for us, and I do mean every single month. We have given them more than a grand in less than a year. $200 one $150 the next, $125 the month after that, another $127 and now they are saying I owe them $258.29 our bill went from $123 to $258 in less than an hour with these people.

Yet they are saying there is no way they can work with me, even though my 3 yr old daughter will die without water. Their answer.. Bottled water. Kinda hard to haul that much water with no car. We can't get ahead because of how much these people are taking from us. Here it is January and freezing in michigan and they drained the lines going to the house so we couldn't even use what was left in our water heater to fill anything up. Wouldn't even give us time to fill bottles, tubs nothing, just shut it off like nothing happened..

This company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Calling them gets you nowhere, all they ever say is thats not our problem because they don't supply the water. They can come shut it off but pretty much nothing else. It's insane that we have to pay so much. Fees we didn't even know about being added to our bill yet nothing shows on the bill itself. I am at a loss. If you have to deal with these people good luck.. you get nowhere pretty fast with them. They will only extend the payment date by 2 days max and if it's not paid they show up the next day to disconnect services or collect money. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't charging us so much for water we don't use. There is no way we go through 4800 gallons of water a month. No way, we don't have a dish washer, we do have a washer but don't run it that much. The numbers don't add up, they amounts don't add up. Nothing makes any sense and even asking them to explain it is like a different language, none of their fees make any sense, none of it.

Universal is the absolute worst company to ever be stuck dealing with. They are useless, rude, and flat out heartless. The "managers" are the worst, they talk down to everyone, they treat us like crap, and every month they suck as much as they can out of us.
