UnitedHealth Group Reviews

If you are a stockholder in this company or if you have insurance with this company, you will want to read this.When I first got insurance with this company I received a phone call telling me that one of the benefits was a traveling nurse would come to my home and do a physical examination. During the month of December a nurse came to my home for this benefit.

During the conversation she asked if I had any kind of pain. I told her that sometimes I have lower back pain. She wrote this down in her notes. Within a couple of months I started receiving 5-17 phone calls per day, 6 days a week, trying to sell me pills, cream,gels, braces, etc., for back pain. I asked these people to remove me from their call lists but they kept harassing me.

Some days I would receive 2-3 calls from the same people. This went on for almost 2 years. NOW, when you look at the facts:

(1) I had a trac-phone at the time that ONLY United Health Group/Insurance had the number to;

(2) This nurse is the ONLY person who I had ever told about my back pain (my family doctor didn't even know);

(3) the fact that the calls all dealt with back pain;

(4) that when I was complaining to United Health Group/Insurance the calls "mysteriously" stopped; AND,

(5) some of these companied told me that they got my name, phone number and information from my insurance company.

The evidence is irrefutable that this company "shared" my personal medical information with others.I spoke with various people at this company who were supposedly doing an "internal investigation." They all said the same thing, that they don't do that. Well, saying it dosen't make it true. The evidence says otherwise.

A woman, Sarah M., Resolution Analyst, claims after looking into my complaint that United Health didn't do anything wrong. I have spoken with an attorney who wants to do a multi-billion dollar class-action law suit. I don't. I would rather do a multi-million dollar settlement. Even though the calls have stopped, this harasment went on for almost 2 years.

Who knows who else has access to my personal information.Considering how serious identity theft and all of the scams going on daily to hurt people in one way or another in this country is; what do you think will happen to the value of the stock in this company if it is announced that a multi-billion dollar law suit for "sharing" people's personal medical information is announced? AND, if you are a client of this company and are receiving phone calls from people trying to sell you stuff, now you know how they found out about you.
