I scheduled a move, paid 25% of the estimated cost. The day of the move, actually 15 minutes before they were to meet me at the location, I get a phone call from a lady named Bella stating that "all" of the trucks were experiencing mechanical issues. She said they wouldn't be able to move me that day but could move me the next morning. Keep in mind, I was moving out of my storage unit, I had already arrived and had started removing items so that it would be a quick and easy move.
The lady showed no sympathy. She didn't even try to suggest any other options. I tried reaching out to the wonderful customer service reps who assisted me with scheduling the move.....Christopher & Erica and would you believe to this day, no one has returned my call or Email. So i sat at my storage unit, calling moving companies from all over an on craigslist. I had to move that day. I ended up paying last minute movers to help me.
I guess it is best to see reviews before making a major decision. I ended up suffering in the long run. They finally refunded my 25%. You would've thought they would've included a little something extra with the refund considering how they screwed up my entire day.
All i wanted to do was move down to FL to be with my parent's. I had this guy from this company "John" if that's his real name was real slick on the phone , very educated , and was polite and to the point. They specifically told me the big difference was they guarantee their prices not just give you estimates BIG LIE!!!!
Once they showed up to my house the first thing he driver told me was i had more thing's and it would cost at least $3.000 more dollars!!! They knew i had to be out of my home that day and really stuck it to me!!! They charged $250 for 20 rolls of tape and $100 to put cardboard around my flat screen tv (which i just got delivery and the screen is smashed!!!) I called to only be told i would get $40.00 for my $21000.00 4XHDTV. All my china vboxes were crushed and i had about $1500.00 worth of baseball card collection "missing" or more like stolen including my purple heart i received from when i fought in Viatnam.
These Russian's that own the company are nasty, rude, and scammers DO NOT GO THROUGH WHAT I DID! I had Allied come out and got a price of $4100.00 i shopuld of went with them saved $2000.00 and would not have had all these issues!!! STAY AWAY FAR AWAYT FROM THIS SPARTAN MOVING AND STORAGE WQHO I BOOKED WITH AND UNITED REELOCATION GROUP THEY ARE ALL THE SAME CROOKS.

But on my day of pick up ithe company was United relocation Group (after doing investigating i found out their owned by the same crooked nicolai gutu and if you look up spartan moving and storage on the D.O.T website safer . fmcsa . dot . gov / CompanySnapshot.aspx and look up "SPARTAN MOVING AND STORAGE " you will see their licence has been suspended!
So they are illegally calling people from Spartan then using their horrible company (google them) you can tell the minimal good review's they have are fake and they gave me a inding price of $3800.00 then once they showed up on move day before even being their for 5 minutes told me it will probably cose more? HUH how would they know i did not have one exta item then what i went over with them but 2 days after pick up i got a call telling me i went over weight by 6000LBS!!!! and had to pay an additional $3,000.00 on top of the $3800.00 i was already charged for or else they told me they would harge me $100/day until i paid them the full BS amount
I never felt so taken advantage of i hope no-one else goes through whati did and im still waiting now 3 weeks still for my deliverty with NO ONE GETTING BACK TO ME! STAY CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY!
I was hired 1 week ago with this cmpany and i new something was not right when their office is 600 sq ft and don't even have a refridgerator or microwave for the 4 employees to eat!!! Worst part is they would tell us to tell the ustomer a price and purposely charge them 50% more on pick up!
I was hired at $350/wk and i did not even get paid after my first week and told me they "will get around to it!!!! Yes thet don't even pay their mployees and if you google them they look like a nightmare on line with 100's of complaint's. The owner niko or nicolia also has a company spartan moving which they call the customer on then on pick up send the united relocation company to do pick us because they don't even have a licence or something happened just google them and you will know to stay far away from them doing business or for employement
