I have been working for US Security Associates for 7 months. I was a 40 hour a week employee. I was only assigned 2 uniforms. When I requested additional uniforms, I was told there were none available. The company lost the account in late August-early September. I was not offered any other full-time assignments, so I chose to onboard with the new company at the same site. I turned in my uniforms and was told that the $75 that they deducted from my check for the uniforms would not be returned. I also requested several times for copies of my paycheck stubs because I have direct deposit. No response.

U.s. Security Associates provides very poor security to its accounts. US security often overcharges its customers by providing services they did not complete and adding hours not worked by officers at that specific location rather transferring payroll from other accounts around. When US security purchases supplies they put a huge markup on the materials and charge the client. US security often altered the officers written report in regards to the community or business where they are working to eliminate anything that would make the company look bad. In addition, Please be aware of working for US Security Associates. Just google them and look at all the complaints and law suits. This is the absolute worst company to work for. Management steals from its own associates and their clients. The myrtle beach region is run by crooks who severely mistreat their associates. They do not pay for all hours worked or provide meal breaks at our location. Corporate allows this behavoir even when presented with the facts. The regional management team takes associates "out of pocket" company expenses and submits them on their own expense reports and then pockets the money themselves. They do not care about true work performance, only that you agree with them when they lie, cheat and steal from other associates and never testify against them or you will be next. They run everything by fear and intimidation and knowing myrtle beach is a hard place to find employment.

Security Guard for US. Security Associates since September 2015. Since then, Had to Deal with Two Faced Supervisor. Security Guard for a Sugar Factory. The employees are Consistently telling Truck Drivers that "I am a F**." I am Truly Not Gay!! My Supervisor tells them Everything about what I do. When I complain to the Company about my Supervisor. He goes to the plant employees. They turn up the rumors about me. My Supervisor makes up New Rules to see if I will leave. Supervisor gives out personal info to Plant employees. The latest is, Some one putting Eye Drops in my Soda while it is stored at Main Gate

I'm a former employee of us security associates I didn't have problems with the company at first until my car accident last year. I have had doctor appointments and the last appointment I had I give them enough notice that they could have someone work my shift but they didn't do it. The night before my appointment the next day I let my supervisor know that I was not going yo be in and that is when I was told I had to report yo work I text him the next morning and said I can't come in I'm already at my doctors and I was told not to report to work. That I was going to be resigned But it seems like since my accident they didn't want to work with me They resigned me only to write me up for things I did not do and just found out today that my Last day was the 18 of September I had no clue Stay away from this company

I worked for this company 5 months and was moved to several sites in Richmond and Henrico, VA. I wasn't the best officer but I wasn't the worst. I filled in whenever I could and traveled to other sites when needed. The last site I was assigned was predominantly ran by women with a woman supervisor. I was falsely told on my first day at the last site I had to shave my mustache. When I refused and left the site I received a call from the branch office stating I "misheard" this even though I have a good memory from doing security and in the military, I know what was said. I returned to the site and received daily harassment from the women on site but as I man I just took it because I know if I responded it'll be worst because I'm a man. On my final day I worked the Richmond bike race for the company doing crazy hours and I was exhausted between work, school, and home life. A day before I had a conversation with the female supervisor on site about an issue with me going to the second guard post on time, I always had to wait until the shift leader decided where she wanted me. So I said I'll just start my day every day at the second post. The next day I was harassed beyond measure and I tried my best to keep my composure. I was the only one there with one other woman and it was difficult because I could have been accused of anything and they all had a clique, I was an outsider. I went over the female site supervisor and told the field supervisor even though I was afraid to do so because just as I learned in the military, filing a grievance is the right thing to do but when it comes to your career it can turn out wrong. I should have listened to my gut because I learned the hard way what so many sailors, marines, and soldiers, even security officers for other companies have already told me. I was told it was going to be an investigation and that made me uncomfortable knowing I had to return to the same site with just me and the woman and her clique. I eventually broke under the pressure of being falsely accused and didn't return to work the next day and the Operations manager basically told me because I didn't go to work he didn't care anymore, he has to go and hung up the phone. I learned in this that workplace harassment can happen to men too and that the age old military recommendation to not report this type of stuff stands true. Be careful of the Richmond branch and the upper management as well as what you'll deal with at the sites.

I was a Site Supervisor for US Security Associates They suspended me and try to get me to go to a post 49 miles away with no transportation. The reason they suspended me,was because I refused to write-up an employee that threatened me with lawyers and attorneys in the past. The employee I'm referring to was also demoted as supervisor and was allowed to remain on post. I'm wondering why I was forced to move to a separate location. None of itakes sense. The only thing I can think of,is the fact that the female black employee has a pending discrimination case against them, so they decided to eliminate me the middleman. They are a bunch of idiots. If I really wanted to and had the financial ability to file my own case I would. Talk about a bunch of ripoffs! I wouldn't recommend anyone work for them.
