So I received an email about a dre beats commercial ad to do during the summer. I recently have been on casting360.com which i find out it to be a scam as well. Well little did I know it would be a scam I thought this would be an opportunity for me to do what I am passionate about. So I reply to the email aka Carson Tyler. He responds back to me saying I need to attend the conference call at a few specific times that was listed in the email. Well I went ahead and called and joined the conference call with probably about 6 other people interested. The guy's name was Kevin who was asking questions and telling us more about the commercial. He said for all of us to email Carson with the subject heading as Request information and attach head shots and a paragraph on our experience. I went ahead and did that and next day or two I receive an email saying they loved the specific pictures I sent and want to continue with using me as the lead of the ad. They told me to call the 929 number and his name is Kevin and he will give me details on what to do next. I called him the next day and he asked me specific questions about modeling and having an insurance agent and to email Melissa Thompson for she will be my agent. I wasn't sure why I would need an insurance agent so I googled it and it stated it was necessary to have one incase I messed up and said something inappropriate which can end up leading to being sued. So I went ahead and got the information and they said I had to pay $150 to CH Global and it would last me 5 years and I emailed Melissa my receipt and all my information. I googled that and saw it seemed legit so I went ahead and paid that money and also then filled out forms online and didn't realize that I shouldn't have added my social security but I did. She then asked for a picture of my ID so I can be cleared for the background check which I did as well. So then I emailed her my information and she said her and the client will call me in a week or two. Well this is the second week and I confident I will not be receiving a call. So For some reason I have been on edge about this so I googled everything and found a similar article on this along with googling the number that I called and found this to be all a scam. I am terrified now that they will steal my identity or god knows what. I have put a fraud alert for my social security and have closed my bank account and created a new one. I am posting this to save the next victim from making the mistake I did. I have lost my money, my drivers license information and my social security number is all out there on the internet. IF something like this happens to you, report it online to fbi like i did, report it on transunion so they don't open up accounts under your name and let your friends and family know. This is a very unfortunate thing to go through especially when you are so young and naive.
