I took my car in to Tires Plus on Spanish River Blvd 5/22/11 for a standard oil change and alignment. Nine days later, my oil warning light came on when I was driving down the highway. When I pulled over, oil was gushing out of the bottom of my car and covering the back trunk area. I had my car towed to another trusty mechanic, Fred Iabone, to see what the issue was. When the mechanic lifted my car, he pointed out to me writing on the oil filter reading "I HATE TIRES PLUS 5/22/11 -Shyne." Fred also pointed out the engine mounts were loosened to finger tight and the oil cap was missing.

His assumption was the mechanic at Tires Plus had left the cap on loose enough to fall off during travels. He also pointed out the the engine bolts could not be unscrewed accidentally, that they would have used a machine to loosen the bolts that much. My car has never required engine work and therefore the bolts did not require tampering with. I filed a police report immediately with the Boca Raton Police Department. The mechanic at Tires Plus, Taryn Jamar Davis, admitted to writing on the car because he was having a "bad day" and admitted to perhaps not tightening the plug sufficiently.

He did not admit to tampering with the engine mount bolts. Contacted Tires Plus regarding incident in which they claim they are not responsible for any damage to the vehicle. After two independent mechanic reports, it was recommended my engine be replaced due to damage. Therefore, I have purchased a used engine for my 2006 Honda Civic amounting to $4082. Extra expenditures so far have included rental car fees, missed day of work, interest on my credit cards, and estimate costs. In the process of filing a lawsuit against Tires Plus for damages.

Well, First of all, lost of trust. My aircondition went out again.back to square ONE !.All after paying total of $1,500 !! (3xs went back.$800/$500+/3rdx,$200+).

it is a 2010 ford Ranger. My aircondition went out ,again,last week 5/14/20. Supposedly, all was repaired last year(summer).Today,Ford Dealership mech.just showed me leaks again!!!$800.

Again,all that,supposedly, was fixed by tire plus in New Port Richey, st rd 54. Again !!!, lost of trust and $$.

By the way,on my way to the Ford dealership, I heard this noise.Told Ford tech(on top of my air being fixed again. The sound was coming from a bad strut[also,supposedly, fixed by tireplus/have all receipts .

The Ford tech asked me ,you said it was fixed?.I said yes.a lot , was fixed,$2,500 !strut,suspension etc. Well,he had to fix front strut.wasnt completely fix.

Sending all copies to headquarters in order to have a top district Manager or CEO to know.

I alreade filed a complaint with the BBB.

Took a car with a leaking hose to wheel cylinder to be replaced, the hose is $9 online.

They charged $257 to replace the hose. About $60 was to refill brake fluid.

Then they claimed the price reflected an employee discount from where I worked.

I have seen entire brake jobs for that price.

DO NOT waste your time with this shop. Very unprofessional, rude manager who could case less about his customers. Two of the service techs in the shop were very nice and kind but NOT the manager Scott Wright. I have never in my life met a more unprofessional/rude man in my life. Please think twice about ever entering this place of business unless your willing to be treated with disrespect and you want your vehicle to come out worse than it went in. I wouldn't doubt if he sabotages vehicles in order to gain repeat customers......Used to be Royal Tire. Check those reviews too. Horrible reviews so they changed names but this trick did not work.

Look up his credentials - School from 1989-1991 and bounced around from job to job to job because he was constantly getting fired for how he treats customers. Do your research. https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-wright-520b8846

NEVER AGAIN...Took in my Ford Platinum 150 for new brakes and tires. Now the truck that used be the smoothest ride of any truck I ever owned shakes on the highway and when breaking the whole vehicle shutters. I should have known bad service when I picked it up and there was grease all over the rims and inside the door. Brought it back and know Tires Plus in Oldsmar trying to sell me front brakes. And saying there is nothing wrong with balance or rear breaks. Maybe there not used to working on nice vehicles. I took in a perfect vehicle and picked one up that shacks raddle and rolls. WOW never again. I asked for them to make it right, they advised sure we will for more money , do not think so. I have 4 vehicles that we used to take there not any more.

I needed breaks cause hurrican irma is coming and needed my car to get to the shelter..now im stuck wit no car no money and no ride..they put a old belt on my .Im a single mom went there to get my brakes fix paid 450 and now they said my belt was broke and they put a belt on and didnt even tell me that it was broke. now im wit no car hurrican ivam is coming minday. now im wit no money and no car..the manger was so rude and threating me he was gonna have my car towed away..i been had my belt replace on aug 5 and im 100 sure thays not my belt..i even call they said that is not my belt.

I delivered my vehicle to Tires Plus on March 22nd and picked it up on March 24th. They were supposed to fix my overheating problem. I paid them $558.87 via credit card. I returned the vehicle back to them on April19th because i noticed my temperature meter was getting fairly high. They put water in my car to "cap it off and get me home safely". Today on May 5th my vehicle was overheating. It reached the highest number of 260 (in the red zone).

I took my car to tires plus in belly cue fort crook road I had inspection for uber. I was told tie rod end was broke I took it to another dealer n there is nothing wrong with my tie rod end I also had flat tire after leaving there shop. I had to call my daughter Stephanie for help n change a tire on a bridge site south Omaha bridge road. upon changing the tire there was a big hole. because I was on a bridge I was afraid to stop n I had to drive for awhile on just the rim my whole assembly could of came undone. I had to call my pregnant daughter to come help me change the flat luckily her husband was with to assist. I took my car to bobs towing here in council bluffs n it was not broke there was nothing matter with it so I made this report.

Replace water pump on BMW 335XI. Charge of $2000. Recieved an estimate for the same job, form another provider, of $1000. Water pump price was $961. I was able to find it at several locations for less than $500. Thermostat price of $230, for which I was able to find several prices for less than $150.

After bringing my car in for 4 new tires, an alignment, and a tire sensor needing to be replaced I walked out saying I'd never give them my business again. After I got my car back 2 of my wheels were damaged from the tire machine, my alignment was still NOT straight, and they processed to tell me that I had a hole in my tire which was making the sensor not read (news flash if you know anything about cars you know that isn't correct!). After confronting them on their mistake they refused to own up to what they had done even after I had 3 people who work in the industry look at it and tell me the damage was from a time machine. I complained to the company and they refused to own up to the mistake and refused to pay for the damages they caused. Even after getting the district manager involved my request was still ignored. Would NOT recommend. A BIG waste of time and money, will not be back!

First off it was my. Wife who got bad service I am writing on her behalf. We go to this shop because I have had no prev issues... But now my wife can't get a routine maintence trans flush even though we have a tired plus credit card he denied her service maybe because she had a coupon and was paying on credit so she just got our oil changed only had the car a year 99 ford escort with less than 100,000miles o,m a tech guy not a mech so if I read it's a reccommended service to keep ur car from dying. I think it,s helpful when we had a 30$ off coupon but nope he refused the service so when me and my wife and toddler son are on the side of the road next to our car I tried to get services hope he reads this and feels bad why get paid to do a job that u don't want to do step aside there are plenty of ppl who need work end rant.

Well the story is simple and true. This company is owned by bridgestone, and their retail operations are headed by the infamous Stu Crum. This is a simple story but one that never changes in this industry. Sellling parts and services that are not needed, forced upon the employees by management, from store manager right on up the chain. Of course Mr. Crum will deny the practice and write memos stating don't do this or that but he knows.

This was brought to his attention recently in the Kansas City area. How employees are forced to worked overtime or through their lunches in order to satisfy corporate goals. How they are forced to sell products and services that are not needed or selling them and worse never performed. How alignments and brakes two of the easiest things to get people to purchase through fear and safety. This is not area specific as they would like to say but it is a national issue.

Right now a local investigative reporter is looking into the allegations and she is being supplied with facts and stories from employees who participated in these consumer ripoff transactions. Proof Mr. Crum that will be revealed soon. You can't hide from the truth. This is not fiction.

So this is what I am proposing to all current and former employees. If you have information on Tire's Plus or Firestone where you were forced or coerced into sellin g or performing work to the consumer where it was unwarranted contact me. We will turn this around and force them to make right the wrongs committed. Also employees of Tire's Plus and Firestone if you have been forced to work through lunch and not get paid or forced to work overtime and not get paid contact me. A class action lawsuit is being launched as we speak. Bridgestone and Stu Crum and anyone else complicit in this will face justice. I know you are out there, whereever you are from coast to coast, it's a class action.

I also encourage cunsumers who have proof or truly feel they have been mislead and lied to to contact me as well. Whereever you are. You have the right to start a class action as well. I have proof they do this. I need more employees to come forward they want to say this is an isolated incident, yeah isloated across the country.

Bridgestone walks on people and flaunts the law. They have lawsuits and settle out of court etc. They settled for 471 million dollars on a patent infringement case but still made 2 BILLION DOLLARS, YES 2 BILLION. They think they can do what they want when they want and not be held accountable. Well your day has come and no turning back now. You will be held accountable Bridgestone America. You can't make your billions and crap on people and steal their hard earned money anymore. Yep profits are gonna go DOWN! You disgust me.

Tires Plus ripped me off and damaged my car. I went in for an oil change and Tires Plus claimed I needed $400 worth of maintenance to repair a bent tie rod. I declined the work and they charged me anyway. The next morning my tie rod broke and was most likely never bent to the point of coincidentally breaking the next day. Clayton and Jason both assured me they would refund the charges and since they have neglected to honor their own word, I can safely say that neither are professional or does either have any integrity or a sense of business ethics.
