TimePayment Reviews

We signed up with a Security Center a local security company with the pretense that we would have a local monitoring security company monitoring our cameras, etc. we were alos promised a referral fee for signing up of $50.00, this never happened.

we never received our referral nor the company that referred us to them from, then the Security Company we signed up with after we signed our agreement, Security Center also informed us we would be provided monitoring by Time Payment, only to find out.. they only provide horrible Customer Service.

they are extremly rude when you call their office to discuss your account not to mention the fact that they do not monitor our system, they just make sure they are paid for leased equipment, that we bought outright at the time of purchse.

We had our location broken into, were a company vehicle stolen off our lot one evening, neither the Security Company or Time Payment did their job as far as "Security" no one ever contacted us when we were robbed, we found out we had been broken into when we returned from a 2 day break, and found our truck had been stolen..

WE were informed of the 36month contract with Time payment after we were basically forced to opt in, when we purchased our security equipment outright, if you wanted a live Security system with monitoring then you had to sign with TimePayment.

We received our 1st bill and were surprised to find that our security system that we just bought outright (paid in full) is now monitored by a company that is not local, and they are charging us $190.00 a month for ???? a service they do not provide...or what we can't figure out, they refuse let us out of their agreement, even though we own the equipment outright.

we are not leasing anything, we still have to pay them to monitor our equipment?? When they don't... they also have the otiosity to charge us for not providing them with a loss payee insurance certificate, for equipment that we purchased and own outright..

we own it, so why would we need to provide them a non-service provider, with a loss payee insurance certificate for equipment we own.. this company never offers support for their Customers, we should'nt have to pay them to make sure our bill is paid!!! I seriously doubt that any system they sell or lease is even being monitored. Time Payment basically monitors if they receive a monthly payment or not.

Don't waste your money..

If you are in need of a Security System and Monitoring, look for another provider than any company affiliated with Time Payment Corp or you will wind up wishing you had.

Time payment will not let you out of the lease unless you opt to buy the remaining portion of your lease, which we not do.. Buyer Beware!!!

I bought a furnace and was offer to finance it with time payment which I did the price of the unit was 1400. call to payoff was told that I miss their six month payoff and had to pay over 3000 dollars that is more than what the unit cost because it was a lease. I was buying not leasing. they're going to charge me more than100 percent that is abusive waiting for a call back from them

Our furnace went out Feb. 2015, it was freezing and we needed a furnace right now. We contacted One Hour Heating and Air, Bancroft Ave,. Toledo, Oh, while they were putting in the furnace the salesman was going over our application to finance, He would not let us contact our credit union to finance saying they did not deal with anyone but Time Payment Corp.

Our basnment and duck works were being torn up, we had to sign without understanding half of the contract. I do remember him saying there would be a lease at the end of paying off the furnace and that it ment we had to get home owners insurance to cover the furnace itself. which he stated it would not be a problem.

After the furnance is put in i called my insurance agent who told me he could not just insure the furnace itself as it was in the home owners policy anyways, He explained why they couldn't add an extra policy just to the furnace, if our home caught on fire or was destroyed and the insurance company handed us a check for the damage, Time Payment Corp. would take half of it leaving us half as much as we would need to rebuild, then come back on the insurance company and try to sue them. Which you can't and why they don't insure just a furnance.

We paid $2800.00 for the furnace and Time Payment corp. wants $3000.00 more for the lease. Who leases a furnace?!

They said if we did not pay they would take action. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Toledo, Oh. against Time Payment Corp. and against One Hour Heating Air and Cooling, Bancroft Ave. in Toledo, Oh.

If there is a lawyer who would take our case or add it to others secking setlement please contact us.

Poor Excuse For A Company

This is one of the worst companies I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. Like most others complaining here, they tend to be rather shifty in their wording and very dismissive. I too was misled to believe it was a loan rather than a lease with no early buyout options. I was also not made aware of the Damage Waiver Fee in advance of signing. I made my first payment this month. My payment due is $120.92. I happened to only have $120.00 in my account. I so pay $120.00, not figuring a 92 cent balance would be a problem and it would just get made with my next payment. They felt the need to call me and leave a voice mail 4 times within 2 weeks about my 92 cent past due balance. 92 CENTS! Yes, that is less than one single solitary dollar. I shorted an auto loan last month by $12.00 on accident and they were not beating down my door. I am not able to answer my phone at work, so I was finally unable to return their call. They informed me of the $0.92 past due balance. I was floored. Are they really hurting that bad that they have to call me over 92 CENTS! Then the Rep I was speaking to had the nerve to threaten me with reporting the late payment of 92 CENTS to my credit report. DOES EVERYONE HERE KNOW WHO IS IN CONTROL OF ITEMS ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT??? THE COMPANIES THAT PLACE THEM ON THERE. YES. If your company feels the need to report one of your customers (lets not forget, the whole reason you have a company in the first place) to the credit agency for late balance of $0.92. Just wow. Then to put icing on the cake, I got done venting to the rep I was speaking to, and was about to end the conversation, she has the nerve to say "So are you going to go online and make that 92 cent payment". You cannot imagine my rage at this point. I ask to speak to a supervisor (whether they actually sent me to one or not, who knows). The supervisor had the most smug, rude, "I'm better than you scum" attitude I've ever heard. She has the nerve to tell me "If I would have just answered their call, this could have all been avoided." Oh, I'm sorry, I don't sit, patiently staring at my phone waiting for a call from TimePayment Corp to tell me I better not let my account get 92 CENTS past due or they are going to report it to my credit report. To sum up, this company cares not one bit about the customer, misleads us and in my options preys on customer as well. My family's lawyer is looking over the agreement with a fine tooth comb and will find any errors made. I want away from this disgraceful, poor excuse of a company.

I was given a Merchant # 5pc01. this service sold to me as scam with the believe I was going to help my student to secure a loan that will help them to pay the tuition and with a repayment of 6 months to one year to pay back in 3, 6,9,12 months payment plan. but this was not the case instead i was told this unemployed students would be paying their loan while in school which was the same thing as having a payment plan with the school. When I decided to cancel the contract I was told it is not cancelable which was fraud. Now they are treating me and family with collection and negative credit report. I will never put any of my student through this type of scam. I have sent them a letter of cease and desist communication
