It was bad enough that Time Warner Cable/Spectrum LIED about charging $113.00 per month for use of their services (T.V., Internet, and Phone), by sending a bill by nearly $250 about a month later, AND by refusing to cancel their services unless I pay whatever they decide to overcharge, AND by placing my name and telephone number on their Directory without my permission, then REFUSED to remove it unless I pay them $5.00 extra per month, after I complained about companies calling my (landline) home phone every 5 minutes all day and evening, a Time Warner Cable/Spectrum manager told me that they sold my personal information to buinesses or corporations. I asked him, "HOW MUCH did Time Warner Cable Spectrum sell my personal information for??" "Lots of money!!" he replied. Time Warner Cable Spectrum/Charter Communications owes me $500,000.00 for selling my personal information without my written permission and signature.

I am a 63 yr old disabled senior citizen living a on a fixed income Section 8, & Food Stamps. Time Warner's the only cable company available out where I moved to. I don't understand their billing system. I First of all they had to send a tech out here for something for the first 3 weeks I was here. Then they told me they weren't billing me for it, but the did at $40 a pop. I've recently made payment arrangements for it of $217 to be paid on Jan 3rd & Feb 3rd to catch me up. Today I get a phone call saying my service is in danger of being disconnected & I either need to pay $213.72 or $370.28 to prevent the disconnect. i am fed up with this crap. I'm going to the hospital Jan 11th to have hernia surgery...I don't need this headache. If they can't accept my payment arrangements, then what do I do for Internet & Entertainment? I have no car and I'm in a wheelchair. Please advise.

I have talked to 18 representatives and it is the same thing over and over...we are looking into it. Dish withdrew $460.00 from my debit card the very day I switched to Spectrum. TWC cable gave the buy-out form to fill out and I did.....six of them...the same as requested by Spectrum. After talking to 16 reps all I get is the run-around over and over. I WILL SUE FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT. I will also contact the NC attorney general of North Carolina. My lawyer friend has assured me he will sue their pants off......so game on.

I have been a long stand ing member of Time Warner and have never encountered a situation like this before. My mother and I have been sick lately but I have always made sure that Time Warner gets paid at least th minimum balance. Every since they changed the name to Spectrum my bill has risen with other charges, then my wife's bill went from $75 to over &200 without a viable explanation. When I call to rectify the matter there are represenatives that are skilled at double taliking the customers and then they maliciously cut of the service. Then I called and was told that for a five dollar fee they could stop the automatic calls that were being generated by the computer and this was a lie. This morning I called because I needed a nine day extenon due to illness and other matters and I was denied the right ot spesk to a supervisor and then when I went on lin e to complain there was this site generated by Spectrum that assured me that for tweny-five dollars they would assist with the matter of keeping my services on. My mother is a senior and my wife suffers from anxiety disorders and it is a criminal issue when you take these emergency services from the underserved. This blatant attempt at fraud is unnerving and insulting and Spectrum needs to be hekd accountable because their tactics are malicious and also life threatening.

After about 5 years as a customer, with constant rate increases that have to be renegotiated at least annually, now that Spectrum has merged with Time Warner they are raising their basic internet price from $52.99 to $79.99 a month, an increase of $27 per month, or 50% of the original bill, which is so large of an increase it should not be legally allowed.

They did offer some way by which it could be lowered $10 more, which I turned down, since I am a senior citizen living on Social Security (which has not ever in memory been raised more than 3% and several years in the past 10 has not been raised at all). I have contacted my State's Attorney General's Ofice about this because I cannot believe lawmakers ever intended to allow this kind of rate increase; however, in the meantime, people need to know how unconscionable this company is!

They do list better prices on the internet to get you to call them, but then say "oh that is for new customers, not existing customers" even though it does not say that, which is misleading and not truthful advertising. This company's ridiculously huge rate increases need to be stopped. I tried contacting the county to find out who is in charge of franchise regulation that would control what this company charges, and was told they handed it off to the State a few years ago. I contacted the State and was told to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, which I am doing as well, but this is just so outrageous that people need to be made aware!

I paid for internet services since April 2017 and it didn't work and I notified the company and they at first say that they have no record that I called. Spoke to several supervisors who said they would send out another router. I received the router in September 2017 and they only want to give me $30 credit for not having service during that entire time and said that I had to call them everyday that the Internet was not working to receive full credit.

Spectrum Cable is playing consumers for fools.

I received a mailer around March/April 2017 offering a better Internet + Cable package than the 30MBps/no digital box cable I was currently receiveing ($115), for only $59.99 per month ** ( of course the ** states additional taxes and fees). Additional taxes and fees have ALWAYS been the case and are expected.

I called and after a long hot-air sell, I was told I was getting a great deal and that my monthly bill would be around $99.99. A whopping $40 in "taxes and fees" - and the cs person said this as if it is, and always has been the norm. I said, "Whoaa...you mean to tell me that $40 in taxes and fees is supposed to be accepted as normal?" This cs rep tells me that I have always been paying around that much for taxes and fees.

I told her to look at how much i paid for the same service in 2015 ($59.99), and then in 2016 ($79.99). I have been paying $40 in taxes in fees for these two years that means i only paid $19.99 & $39.99 for internet + cable for these years. That was NOT the case.

Time Warner's service has not been great, but at least they did work with existing customers and create deals and packages for limited lengths of times, to bring increasing charges down. Now since they've changed to Spectrum, they are 20 times as bad. The CS people I talked to were horrible and did not help at all. I tried calling several times hoping I would get a hold of someone more experienced. One of the CS reps got an attitude with me and basically told me I've always paid this much in taxes and fees and that I didn't know what I was talking about.

If a company is going to send out a promotion for $59.99, they need to offer that amount; otherwise, promote the so-called deal with an amount closer to what will actally be paid, and stop taking customers for fools. I called to see how much it would cost to have cable only, and they inform me that it will cost $99.99 - more than having the bundle of the two terrible services together. After nearly 20 years, I am going to drop their company all together. Spectrum is disgusting, and there are only a few cable providers to choose from in Columbus, Oh. This is a prime example of why no competition is a disaster for the American people, and just like big government, it doesn't work.

I pay almost 200.00 dollars a month for phone,internet,and cable. The service I received is really bad one person says one thing and another says something else and trying to get a technician out to my home is like trying to pull teeth. Every other week my internet goes out and they say nothing is wrong. It's suppose to be the fastest internet they have and sometimes I half to wait ten minutes for it to load suppose to have over 200 channels when I only have 100 channels the only thing that works the way it should is the phone.

I don't know what is wrong with my phone but I do not like that no one has ever gone up and looked at he lines on the telephone pole just to be sure that the phone line I have is not going into some other telephone company line instead of TWC. My phone account says that I have no registered phone number with TWC. So I went online and discovered through a research company that my phone number is registered with bandwidth.com, a company that only serves businesses and government. I cannot see my call history displayed on my phone account online and I also cannot seem to get some people to call me back when I leave messages with an impersonal voice mail which I recurringly get "automated voice messaging system". I do not think this is the way the person's phone is set up to receive a voice mail and that there is some middle man in the works causing idosyncracies in my service. This has bothered me greatly and I have contacted an attorney to see just what can be learned by them seeing as they have cancelled several promised appointments to replace the line. My wife and I were promised in March of this year a specific rate for the services which we now have for our cable television/internet/phone services. I WAITED UNTILL I RECEIVED IT, AND I CALLED TWC CUSTOMER SERVICE (WHO ARE OVERSEAS) HIS NAME WAS ALEXA (BUDGE # Z78 ) TOLD ME TO FAX THE AT$T STATEMENT TO WITH A LETTER OF EXPLINATION INCLUDING MY ACCOUNT NUMBER (315) 463-0225 AND TO WAIT 5 TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS UNTILL I RECEIVE THE $300 CREDIT CARD . I DID WHAT I WAS TOLD TO DO, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN TE MAIL.

Time Warner Cable which is now merging to cover up it;s bad reputation is a leach upn society. I have paid into their service since they became operational in LA in the 1980's The service was $19.95 back then and they promised it would stay that way to eliminate free TV. That was a corporate lie and my service is now $156.27

They raise it every few months and when you call to complain they say we can put you on a 6 month program if one is available. Then the bill goes up again even higher. IT is gouging! many people are on fixed incomes and also homebound with no company except their TV and internet. They are being priced out of any connection with the outside world.

I have been threatening to cancel my subscription for years and they lower it or act like they do not care or say in a month or two there will be specila deals coming up that you can call in for but every time you have to pay more and get less. I decided last time FORSURE if they pulled that on me again I would terminate my account.

So after I was told I would be reduced to $141,93 (still too high) for a year (they promised) I said I would stay. Within 3 months my bill shot up to $156.27 I called oday and asked for the resolution department. I was transfered to a man amed Wade who told me "There were no promotions being offered currently and there was nothing he could do" He did not seem to care one bit but he was honest enough to relay to me that Time Warnr Cable operates that way. That is their SOP to take all they can and give back as little as possible". They have no regad for poor/unemployed/aged or disabled peoples situations. They are jus in the business to extort as much money as they can beings so many people are leaving in droves to explore alternative less expensive ways to get better reception and variety.

Time warner Cable Co is a blight on society and deserves to be broken up and have a class action lawsuit filed against them to repay the millions of dolars they have extorted from the public since they thought they made themselves the only game in town.

The absolute pwer of corporations has reached such an extreem that they are inspiring a recreation of the Fench Revolution. They are an imbaasment to the United States of America and must be reined in before countless people die from not having access to emergency services/information and comunication. This is a very sad time for the American people and never should have reached this far into the pockets of the citizens of this great country.

BEWARE! Time Warner Cable does not deliver. I paid them $177.00 COD to install Internet and 2 cable boxes. First of all Time Warner does not do any of their own installations, nor are there installers licensed, nor do they answer there own phones. After having paid them COD the very first day 90% of my channels do not work to this day. I called customer service and they were unable to fix the problem. When you call customer service you either get a 3rd party call center in The Philippines or India they outsource all of their duties to, just like their installers are all outsourced. The outsourced call center was unable to have a technician come back and fix the problem the soonest they are coming out is 2 days after the problem and at 7PM at night.

This company has flooded the market with clever TV commercials, In store sales people and print ads. However, their quality of service is not only ridiculous and their product does not work they do not control any of it. You can not speak to someone in the United States when you call, their installers arrive in random unmarked vehicles. They are simply using the name Time Warner as a front company and outsourcing the rest to the cheapest outsource companies they can find. Of course the 3rd party foreign companies can do little to help you, and you will be left without any solution but to wait until they get around to scheduling an appointment, all the while you will pay for a service that does not work. Simply put they grossly misrepresent their offer.They stretched a large cable in the middle of my street and nailed it to my roof, it looks unsightly and illegal. I will be filing a lawsuit immediately.

Use any other service. I have Direct TV. They are much better. Unfortunately they do not do internet in my area. I have had hours and hours of my life WASTED because this company can't provide proper service. They also refuse to adjust billing for their mistakes. This is the worst company I have done business with in recent times.

Have been charged for phone/internet for years. Haven't had working phone for so long I cant remember. My wife finally stopped paying the bill. I called several times to try to get the phone service corrected. Finally I gave up months ago. I called customer service today to get an adjustment and was practically accused of making up a story. I want to clear my balance but refuse to pay for service I wasn't receiving. We'll see if they want to do the right thing.

It seems like they think there are no other choices for me to spend my money with.

After a third phone call this company still insists on charging me for services I was not receiving. Again there is no resolution. Just a waste of my time again.

(Update! I finally paid for service I didn't recieve. I was told my internet would be turned on at 11:00 AM, at 4:00m pm I tried to get my internet working wasted another hour of my time. It was never hooked up! Now I've been on the phone for another 30 minutes and counting.

Also lost my phone# OF 19 YEARS!

IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHRER CHOICE USE IT!

I finally got a customer service rep that seemed to care. Diane, she was able to credit me 2 months. Had way too many bad conversations before I ran into her.

Update Was told they didn't need to come in the house and could get the internet running from outside. The installer came out to my home while my wife was on her way to work. Apparently he needed to come in. Another day without service. I also recieved a collection notice after paying for the service I was not receiving.

This company does not fail………TO DISAPPOINT!

I was TWC customer ( Account Number: 8260140776480024) back in 2012 and 2013.

I had paid all my dues, returned device modem and terminated the connection in Apr 2013.

Despite reaching 100 times to TWC CSR and explaining them I dont owe them anything,, and I have returned the device they keep sending me bills and recently they have sent it to collection agency -(Credit Management L.P 4200 International Pkwy Carollton TX 75007)

TWC has already admitted that its their fault even then they dont update their records and keep sending me this bill which I dont owe.

TWC will spoil my credit history.

I want TWC to resolve this and update their records properly.

If their system is at fault , if they cannot keep track of inventory its not my fault.

How can they do such a thing.

I want them to compensate me for this.I need substantial compnesation for mental torture I am facing because of them.

I want to drag these TWC buggers to court if they dont mend thier ways.

On 12/11/15, I agreed to pay $128.00 ($133.29 with phone service charge to Time Warner for the account of my friend Linda in Cambridge, Ohio. The representative Linda talked to assured her this payment would maintain her phone, TV and Internet service with Time Warner through 01/09/16. I made the payment on Dec. 11 and my bank records show the payment going to Time Warner on Dec. 14. On Dec. 21, Linda's phone service was shut off without warning. She phoned Time Warner and was told my payment had been declined. She contacted several other representatives and was told the same thing. Then on Dec. 23, I contacted Time Warner and was told that my payment had been accepted, but that she had made a payment agreement on Dec. 7 and attempted to make a payment on Dec. 11 which was declined. She never made such an agreement or attempted payment on Dec. 11, and challenged the Time Warner representative to pull the recording of calls made on Dec. 7 to prove she had not made such a call or any payment agreement. Time Warner seems to be confusing Linda's account with the account of some other person who made a payment arrangement with the company. This is not the first time she has had problems with Time Warner about her payments not being credited to her account. There have been at least four or five incidents in which she has made a payment, only to have a Time Warner representative contact her several days later and insist such payment had not been made. She usually has to call several people before the matter is resolved and she is credited with the payment. I don't know whether the representatives of this company are generally incompetent or dishonest, but they seem to consistently take a "the customer is always wrong" approach and are generally very arrogant in their manner. A company representative promised her service would be maintained until 01/09/16 if I made this payment, which I did. They also told her when she requested a check of the Dec. 11 call that they didn't keep call records for more than 72 hours, which is ridiculous, and also untrue. A representative told me Dec. 23 that she would check the call log from Dec. 7, which is a lot more than 72 hours. I realize this is a big corporation with deep pockets that doesn't care about the quality of service it provides for the large fees it charges, but it seems to me it should have some sense of responsibility to its customers.

I am currently going through all of my Time Warner Cable bills since the beginning of 2011 to figure out all of their crazy charges and to figure out what exactly is wrong with my bill. I have been overcharged for equipment I no longer have and I am trying to figure out exactly when it started, which was in November of 2013. I repeatedly called into TWC to complain about the extra charges for equipment I no longer have and they have been unable to fix my bill. However, while going through all of these bills month after month, I became aware of how often I am assessed and paying a late fee AND the fact that there are no due dates listed on my bills.

I really wish someone would start a class action lawsuit for late charges when no due dates are listed. What do I need to do to start this?

As for A FEW of the videos and audio recordings that the monopolies have made disappear from the web, I've followed suit of those same monopolies, by outsourcing to other countries (to enable Truth, which is seemingly very easily obfuscated or erased in this country if you own the just-us system and it's legions (opinion). In April 2015 called to cancel TWC because we had repeated issues with internet and cable service and wanted to switch to AT&T. When I called the cancel, TWC had offered us $50 less per month plus a $300 gift card if we continued our service for 90 days. I went ahead and gave TWC another chance, but of course after the 90 days had passed, no gift card arrived. I called to follow up in September 2015, and was told that the giftcard would arrive in 7-14 business days. I called again in October 2015, and was told the card would arrive in 7-14 business days.

I called again November 18, 2015 and was told that the card would most definitely arrive in 3-5 business days. On December 11, 2015 I was told that I was never eligible for the giftcard as this promo was only for new customers not to retrain customers. TWC apologized for the inconvenience and said that they would email the "third party" who handles the giftcards and give me a call back with the response as to whether or not they would make an exception and honor the giftcard.

Please do no lie to people. Why even offer the card? At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if I never see this giftcard, but I would ask that supervisors and customer service reps at Time Warner would stand up to the executives who are directing them to say these lies. This is wrong. It's fraud. You cannot promise something over the course of 8 months and then never deliver. Where is our integrity?

I was with Time warner for over 5 miserable years. Had terrible reception. Every station had static and would lose connection. There was 30 second delays to change channels or to look at the menu. I called two times in the last year and both times was connected to a person who didnt speak english. After a half hour waiting to speak to a person and trying to translate i was told to unplug everything to reboot. I did this many times over the last year. It takes about 15 minutes, so you can imagine the frustration while trying to watch a show. The final straw was them raising my bill from $117 to $142 without notifying me. I just got basic cable with no premium channels or movie rentals. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve this. I was paying $142 per month for static and glitched tv. I would have been ok if they had gone back and charged me the $117 instead of $142, and to send a technician free of charge to fix my horrible service. The woman i spoke to just kept repeating that i owed $142. I finally hung up and called direct tv. I immediately had a service rep pick up and set up new service. I then called back Time warner to disconnect service. I had to talk to two different people who then tried to do right by me. A little too late you horrid people/company. At this point i dont want their lousy service for free. Now its up to me to return all their equiptment which im sure will be a cluster f*** like their entire company. They rip people off by charging astronomical fees for terrible service and make it extremely difficult to get the problems resolved. Most people are tired and dont have an extra hour to be on hold to talk to people in India. Also, im pretty sure that a lot of people auto pay and are charged double for months before catching the scam and taking an hour out of day to resolve it. All i can say is stick it Time warner, you suck. I sm going to every online multi media source to take you down. Im spending the time to do it. Word needs to get out to sue you for fraud and mistepresentation. Disgusting.

Time warner is a rip off! They real you in with a deal(88.00$) then your bill is ?170.00 screw big companies that try and take advantage of consumers. I've had to call them within the past 2 weeks 3 times. Really?

I called 45 days in advance of my 1 year contract's expiration date to find out if there were any specials or upgrades available. They offered nothing that made any sense in comparison to other carriers so I told them I would be cancelling services as soon as my contract was up. They couldn't care less.... Fast forward 30 days and I retain services from another carrier. I call to cancel the TWCbc services and they tell me it could take up to 30 days to disconnect my services and that I would be billed during the time period it takes them to turn off services. They claim that the cancellation has to go through 3 different departments to take affect.

That is utter BS! Hey TWC.... YOU CANNOT HOLD THE CONSUMER LIABLE FOR YOUR INCOMPETENCE. If I cancel my services today, then you stop billing me today! You do not charge me just because YOUR internal system takes "up to 30 days" to turn off my services. You can clearly see when the traffic on your modem stopped. Hell you can even see the modem is disconnected. Funny because if I stopped paying my bill you can and do turn off services with a few keystrokes, but when the consumer requests services be turned off it takes "up to 30 days."

Time Warner claims that I never returned my cable equipment (modem and DVR) when I moved out of my apartment in Los Angeles, Ca., Sept. 2, 2015. I gave Time Warner the necessary information so that they could retrieve the cable equipment In October, I was told by them that they found the equipment and have closed my account; that I would not be charged any fees. Today, I learned that they did not do this. They charged me $595.oo for the equipment and phone charges from Sept. thru November, even though I moved out in Sept. I notified them when I was moving out in Sept. 1, and asked them to shut off my phone. I found out that my phone is still on and I am still paying charges each month.

Watch out for this scam! First the nice Time Warner Rep comes to your door, says he'll give you one year of Cable/Internet/Landline for $89.99 per month & promises $300. Visa gift card after 3 months. What they don't tell you it's really $102.70 per month, and my bill went up every month after. Ok so just a couple bucks but I would call and they would credit. Next u jump through numerous hoops to get this Visa Card. Get a redemption code at a certain website, go to a 2nd website, register redemption code, Have to give (2) previous bills from previous provider showing for at least (2) of the services. After all that and most importantly no one EVER tells you that you have to pay before or on the bill due date or you rescind the entire $300 card! So that's what happened to me, I always pay my bills, I was just few days later than that date on 3rd month bill so sorry, no gift card. No one ever tells you this until you ask where's your $300. They'll tell you’re no longer candidate & should’ve read through all the pages online of fine print. It's insulting to do this when I was with AT&T for over 12 years and changed for this deal. Not to mention TWC service had outage on two occasions while I was working, once for two entire days and they only gave me $3.50 credit per day!

Update 2 hours later: I was reading on the internet that this has happened to so many others not honoring $300 Visa reward card for various reasons. One guy wrote he called their customer solution dept. which basically is retention with another dept name. Told them to disconnect all and ONLY then they offered to give him the $300. That’s what I did and I whalla! I just got a call back from them about half hour later saying they would give me the $300. Visa Reward anyway. P.S. Make sure you keep date you called, get the name of whoever you speak to, make sure you have his/her dept, and their operator ID Initials (they call it). Good Luck!

In March of 2010, I had surgery at St. Elizabeth hospital to repair a torn tendon. The surgery went well, but my recovery did not. My incision did not heal, and were it not for my surgeon keeping on top of it, I would have lost my foot. He sent me to your wound clinic, per clinic policy. In the wound clinic I saw an actual doctor once. He looked at my wound, told the nurse to clean it, put some antibiotic ointment on it, and wrap it up. I had to come in twice a week for four weeks, for the same treatments. The wound continued to get worse, and nobody from the wound clinic took responsibility for my care. My surgeon finally said enough is enough and had me come in for a wound debridement. Because it was so bad, I had to be put under, which was yet another surgical procedure. Due to the negligence of those employed in your wound clinic, I ended up with a permanent disability. In august of 2010, the wound had finally healed to the point where I could return to work part time. I had been diagnosed with RSD, and I'm only able to wear flip flop type shoes and have nothing touching my ankle and foot. My part time employment ended in March of 2011. I was terminated because my employer, Time Warner Cable, could no longer accommodate my restrictions. This included my state of Wisconsin issued handicap accessible parking permit. They had sent an email stating the handicap parking stalls closest to the employee entrance were reserved for those using wheelchairs. This meant I had to park a distance away from the entrance and walk through the unplowed parking lot and sidewalk in flip flops. When I was terminated, I was told by the HR rep that my active employee benefits would continue through august of 2011. I knew I had a surgical procedure scheduled in April of 2011 so I verified with the HR rep that my insurance would for sure remain active. She assured me that it would. Had I had ANY indication that I wasn't going to be covered by my insurance, I could have easily gone under my husband’s plan. I was also told that after August of 2011 I would have the option of going under COBRA insurance. I was never sent any information on how to partake in this benefit. My final paycheck from Time Warner Cable reflected my portion of the health insurance premiums that would have covered me at least through June of 2011. According to Time Warner Cable, there was a "clerical error" which resulted in my health care benefits being terminated as of March 31, 2011. I have to question why it took until May of 2013 for TWC to come to this conclusion. They had the money that was deducted from my payroll for the employee portion of my health insurance premium. Why wasn't this paid to the health insurance provider? Where was this money? Did it not show up in audits? I had made several phone calls to corporate as well as the local HR department to try and get answers to this issue when I was first made aware in approximately July of 2011. None of the people I spoke to were willing to help me. Because TWC employees failed to follow procedure, file paperwork in a timely fashion, notify corporate benefits of status changes, and follow through with exit interview policies my health insurance coverage was prematurely terminated. This was an error on behalf of Time Warner Cable, and in no way reflects my failure to comply. My husband and I are now at risk of losing everything we have worked for. We are facing financial ruin and this is causing extreme stress and hardship on our marriage. Due to the negligence of Time Warner Cable we had to file for bankruptcy. We are now trying to rebuild our credit, and we are diligent about paying our bills on time. Because Time warner cable is the only cable and Internet service provider in my area, I had to stay with them for my services. They refused to provide me with a bill detailing my monthly services and charges. I have been trying to get this rectified for over 5 years, and they keep telling me it is resolved. And actually, it was working for a while, but then it started up again. I would get a bill for $0.00 and no monthly charges. As soon as this happened, I contacted them to get it resolved. I have been hung up on, more than once, told it would be looked into, told it was resolved, yet it still is not taken care of. I will not just give my money to a company because someone says this is what you owe us. I believe I have a right to view a billing statement so I can verify the services and charges associated. They have refused to send me a bill, they have refused to send me a copy of my account informTion, including the customer comments and /or notes. I believe by law, they have to provide this information upon request. I do not deny that I have been getting service, most of the time. I could have easily said nothing, and continue to get services free of charge. I have made every effort to be honest and get this resolved. Time Warner Cable has refused to comply and has forced me to do the work on their behalf. After several calls on my behalf, they simply transferred six months of charges to another account in my name and disconnected me for non payment. They sent me a copy of that statement with no explanation, or assurance that the issue was resolved. Now, once again, because Time Warner Canle refuses to take responsibility for their errors, I have an account with a collection agency.

I was ripped off by Time Warner in order to get me to switch over in the belief that i was going to receive a $300.00 Visa gift card. Right away they had me to fax my last vendors'bill of closing the account. I was never sent a " Redemption Code" initially to understand what was required to receive the card. I faxed all requested info to Better Rewards Guarantee and was told that an appeal in in process. I have called numerous of times and staff say they will appeal and yet i have received nothing reagrding a decision. I had been with Verizon for years and years and in good standing. I am desperate to return. Companies cannot expect that all persons are in use of a computer eventhough we have the Internet as a part of the bundle. Other family members use computer when visiting, but i the account holder do not use the computer. They assume everyone uses the computer and so i was not provided adequate info on how to redeem, thus I would have known the RULES. To get my business the staff was nice, professional and giving,yet they will not communicate any info with me visually where I can see and understand why I am ineligible. They do not play by their own RULES.

This ILLEGAL MONOPOLY does not honor it's agreements/oral contracts

TWC consistantly raises my bill after one or two months, each time after having spent way too much time on the phone with them, going through at least 3 representatives, and finally agreeing to a plan that I can 'almost' afford.

Each time, it's because I have called to try and make the service affordable for me. They seem to think that services MUST be over $100 a month, if not, they will mark them up to over that.

My services have been gradually whittled away to nothing, today there was nothing left to cut back on so I no longer have any cable television.

Just last month I was able to get a one year 'deal' for $78.38 a month. This included only the most basic stations and internet. From cable boxes for both tvs in 2 rooms, to only one. I actually wrote down all of the details of the new 'oral contract' which was to last for one year, and wrote the details down and put them on the refrigerator. I took only one month for me to get an invoice for $99.64, and when I called about it, I was told that this was a complimentary one time discount, that my regular billing would be $119.64 a month.

REALLY?

They 'conveniently' had NO RECORD of my new service and monthly cost. They even slowed down my internet.

They are liars and thieves. I SAW on their site that INDEED my new payment was $78.38 and that's what I paid. That was last month. Today I got the inflated invoice after only one month, and was basically called a liar for telling them that I was given this package at this price for one year.

Since there was nothing left to cut back on, I already gave up all premiums, was down to the basic stations... so now I don't have any TV at all.

People don't really need cable anymore so I find it curious that this arrogant person on the phone was sadistically pleasant while I was having my final meltdown with them.

He also insisted that my internet connection had not been slowed down, even though I do a speedtest at least monthly and INDEED they have slowed it down.

We pay so much rent for their equipment over the years, we own it a hundred times over. They will be here to remove it all.

I've never had any company or service literally let me know that they don't need my business nor care about trying to make an arrangement that I could pay for.

Scam artists, thieves, liars and FEDERAL CRIMINALS... MONOPOLIES are illegal in this country... YET... they have one.

We don't need them anymore. I hope every home viewer dumps them. All we need is wifi and smart electronics. This invoice was the worst scam yet. The cover pages were full of their BUNDLE offers that if we wanted them, we would ask for them. I had to hunt for the actual invoice through all the papers and I think steam came out of my ears when I saw what they decided to charge me.

Another example of the 1% crushing the average person. I'm not giving them my grocery money, that's for sure.

I wish the corruption in this country would be cleaned up, but it's so rampant in just about every agency and business, I can't even imagine anything being cleaned up.

I guess I should consider myself lucky being a senior disabled widow and actually having a roof over my head. Homelessness is spreading like the plague in this country of PLENTY!

DUMP TIME WARNER CABLE... YOU DO NOT NEED THEM!!!
