Do not purchase anything from tiffin mats. I paid them $13,700 with a check for new martial arts mats November 2016 and as of today March 28, 2017 they never manufactured or delivered my mats. They push lie after lie starting with Tim Graybeal the sales person who told me that the mats would be delivered in 30 days as the purchase order stated. After 2 months i called and he said there was a delay in getting the color vinyl i wanted. Then some one from production called (i assume that was a lie also) and said they would deliver them by mid April to which i stated that would not work. I have my first events that i purchased the mats for first week of April and again later in April.
They then promised me they would ship out late march. I call on 3/13 and spoke to the other notorious liar, gerry stringer, who assured me they would ship on 3/27. I called him on 3/27 and he said they were a week behind but give him til wednesday 3/29 and he would call me. He didn't call. I have been in martial arts business 20 years + and had heard of them or seen their ads. I never thought twice when we started soliciting quotes from mat manufactures but much to my dismay when i searched for their gm on google i came across a plethera of negative reviews and several customers they have ripped off. Go look for yourself. I am one of many they have screwed over.
Dan Tiffin and his crew are all little men of no integrity whose families should be ashamed of. Knowing full well that they cannot deliver they keep taking people's money-that is organized crime in my opinion. I asked gerry stringer for refund to which he replied "im not in a capacity to do that". Quite frankly i dont know if I want the refund since some of the complaints have stated that the checks from Dan Tiffin's company bounced. I have invested time and money promoting my event to which i now have to rent mats. No one should have to go through this ordeal. tiffin mats is a rip off. Please stay away from this company. The reviews are must all be true. There is even a facebook page called Do Not Purchase Tiffin mats. They should all go to jail.
