Thomas H Matsco, MD PHD Reviews

  • Dec 6, 2017

In mid-december, 2005, i went to an eye doctor for a regular eye exam. Except for needing progrssive lens for near sightedness, my eyes were fine.

About 5 days later, i was a victim of an auto accident. I hit my head and injured my neck. A few days later, large floaters appeared in my line of vision. This, and some lightning-like flashes before my eyes, left me in panic. I went to see a local opthomologist in kalispell, montana. It was discovered, that i suffered a torn retina, which had to be surgically repaired.

A local attorney was handling the case against the driver and his insurance company.

The opthomologist told me that the floaters and eye flashes will never go away. I was upset to hear this, and called around to see if another eye doctor could help me.

This is where i made the grave mistake of going, all the way to great falls, to see dr. Thomas matso. I went to this man for help. Instead, he ending up trying to ruin my insurance claim.

Here is what happened. I did tell him that i needed a report for the insurance company - to help with my claim. He became very angry with this. He said that i should not be suing anyone or any insurance company. He was very rough with me, pushing me into the chair. He acted his it was him that i was suing. In hindsight, i should have ran out of his office. He made sure the drops he put in my eyes stung and seemed delighted with any pain i was feeling.

After he completed his exam, he said that the eye problems i am having are because of my age, and have nothing to do with the accident. I told him, the problems happened 3 days after the accident and that my eyes were fine before. I asked him for a copy of the report he was going to send to safeco insurance company.

I wish i never went to see this man. This thomas matsco, wrote up a derogatory report on me. He said, i don't know why her eye issues are bothering her so much. To the delight of the insurance company, he said that the floaters and flashes were not caused by the accident. He did this deliberately and with willful malice towards me.

My case was worth $100,000. Because of this report, we only got $50,000, of which the lawyer took $ 17,000. Even my lawyer admited that if would have been better if i never went to this thomas matsco. Dear readers, i went to this man for help, and he deliberately tried to destroy my case agains the insurance company and the driver of the car. When doctors and medical people go into medicine, they take a hypcratic oath. This oath says first do no harm.

I guess this dr. Thomas matsco was absent from class when the hypocratic oath was being taught. I did file a complaint against thomas matsco, with the montana medical and opthomology board. However, government agencies are rarely on the side of the citizen, and often protect the alleged professional. They found no wrong doing. Yes, there was definitely wrong doing, but thomas matsco got away with what he did to me.

I let this go for a long time. Now it is time to tell my story. I am grateful that this Yscam site exists. When people fail to get justice - this is the only option left to them. To this very day, i still suffer from neck problems. The floaters and light flashes never went away. They will only go away after i am no longer alive on this earth. This thomas matsco had no right to harm me after i put my trust in him. I leave the readers of this report to decide if they want to go to this doctor for their eye problems.
