Fariborz Maleknia is a known real estate and auto scammer. Google his name. My family member did not do this and got caught up in this con man's game to get the most amount of cash for a piece of crap car.
Recently Farborz Maleknia took to eBay Motors under someone else's good standing account ( Yolandzamor_6 ) to sell 1960's VW's and a 1970's Toyota Land Cruiser.
A family member took the bait and won an eBay auto auction for a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser for $19,100 based on detailed listing (posted below) and back and forth phone calls and texting.
Jump down to description of vehicle and take a glance at how this Toyota FJ40 was being advertised. Here's what he actually bought:
- Engine is actually a 283 or 327, not a 350. Cylinder head are cast iron not eldelbrock, vehicle has eldbrock valve covers. Holley carb has never been rebuilt... Oil pan has a sump pump welded to bottom, oil pick up will not extend there. Clutch is NOT new nor flywheel. Brake system has new parts but ALL installed incorrectly, brakes lines pootly routed (no fasteners) fuel line not installed correctly. New wiring harness however charging system original and ideate regulated... NO weather stripping on door. Headliner installed incorrectly. Power steering pump brackets incorrect and distributor bushings have momvement. The angle of drive line is not correct. Receipts for car parts and work from Mexico. COMPLETELY NOT SAFE TO BE DRIVEN.
