Scam

I ordered two harnesses on December and paid for them. Approximately 2-3 weeks later I received the harnesses only to discover one of them they sent me was the wrong size. I immediately contacted them and received information on how to return for an exchange. I followed the instructions and retuned the harness and have proof of delivery that they had received the harness. I then contacted them a few days later to inquire about when I would be receiving the replacement harness. They took several days to answer only to ask that I give them the exact same information that I had given them on their form when I returned the harness. Checking again a few days later I again was asked to provide the exact same information, which I did again. Since then I have emailed, tried to call 800 number which is always busy and if when they choose to answer my emails they tell me it is in transit to me. When asked for a tracking number so I could track my harness they tell me they are still waiting on the waybill/tracking number. After weeks of this going back and forth I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau only to find out they have hundreds of similar complaints against them which they have chosen to ignore.

I am following the feed on the Facebook page and it appears hundreds of people are having the same issue.

This company is obviously a scam and it out to steal people's money.

My next step to contact my credit card company to try and get my money back and have them start a fraud investigation.

On 12/8/18 I ordered two harnesses for my dogs. I received a confirmation number email.

On 12/11/2018 they sent me a savings code should I make another purchase.

I inquired on my order on 12/17/18. A response was sent stating orders for non-clothing takes 14-20 days. They assured me I would receive my order, just give it a few more days.

I inquired twice since then and have not received a response. I have also called the 800 number at noon and spm and no one answers.

There are several others on Facebook who responded to their ad stating they have had a smiliar experience. Several people commented on the harnesses and received a response from The Pug Dog Store. None of the complaint posts received a response.

I contacted my bank regarding the charges. They have started an investigation and have reimbursed me the cost pending their investigation.

The Pug Life Store charged my card for a dog harness, plus expedited processing, but it's been two months and I still haven't received the harness. I have tried emailing and calling, but they will not respond. There is no way to write a legitimate google review to warn other consumers about the company's business practices, but there are other write ups on the Better Business Bureau. The complete lack of respect for those of us who have paid for a product, trusting we would get the item we paid for, is what upsets me the most. It's businesses like this that will bring back brick and mortar sales. I won't shop online without checking the BBB and google reviews first. If you don't have a google review, as this company doesn't, it's because you paid to keep yourself anonymous somehow--and if the only good reviews you receive are on your own website, then it's a clear indication that you're not to be trusted and your product is either crap or you won't deliver it.

People, there are good harnesses at the Pet Stores. I found a Kong harness at Petsmart. If you have to buy online, use Amazon. At least they will refund your money if you don't get the product and they track the packages.

Heavy Duty Reflective Dog Harness

Worst Customer Service - Buyer Beware

Firstly, my original order went great with out any issues other than shipping took longer than quoted. This review is strictly about the return/exchange process.

I ordered a medium sized harness for my pup and she grew out of it within a week even though she was under the sizing they recommended for that particular size. They sent me the return label the next day, which made me think this was going to be easy... boy was I wrong. The return process took almost a month! Multiple emails were sent, with no response to any of them, no tracking number was ever even provided. A week after the harness showed it had been delivered I finally got an auto email stating it had been received among other auto emails with discount codes, which I will never use! After about 7 emails over the few weeks, and asking for a refund since I thought I'd never receive the product I paid for, I finally received a response stating it had been delivered and the rep never apologized or even acknowledge my concerns or previous emails.

For a growing business they should stop blatantly ignoring their customers and maybe hire quality employees so they can actually fulfill orders as promised. I once recommended this company to fellow dog owners but I now regret doing so. Going forward I'll just recommend the style of harness which can be found elsewhere. Note to the owner, find better employees that can actually do the job you're paying them to do or give people their money back when they ask for it!

ANOTHER COMPLAINT!!

Have had email conversations with this "company" over the last 6 months about our refund. Continue to respond that the refund is being processed, please be patient. Really??? Can't give zero stars.

What customer service?

I didn’t realize they had a customer service (haha...ok its not funny). I haven’t had any issues with the harness but only their lack of or non-existence of customer service. Chat room doesn’t work. Their 1-888 number is always “experiencing” a high volume of calls.....”. But then refers you to their website, then disconnects. You can send them a msg only to receive a system generated response referring you again to website and they are investigating your email but never to hear from them again. I have reported this to my credit card company and the Better business Bureau. I wish I would have read to see if there was any complaints on the BBB online first. Funny thing, the first harness ordered was great and I wrote a review but noted in my review I never recd a response to an inquiry, instead of answering my question, they wanted me to upload a picture of my dog with the harness on! Went ahead and ordered 4 more and finally learned the hard way.

Bottom line, they state they have thousands of reviews. The problem isn’t the people receiving the correct harness but instead those people who believed in the company only to end up with the wrong harness or being billed for harness they never received and no customer service assistance in solving the problems.

No Customer Service

My dog's harness snapped and endangered my dog...

I cannot reach anyone at the Pug Life Store....poor communication

And they do not do not post anything but glowing reviews....I am reporting to the BBB!

Same kind of problem

I order this harness for our dog. I did receive it but it was to small. Even though I went by the weight scale given. Sent it back with return label they sent me. After a month I have not received anything back. Several Emails to them and nothing. Sent them there own tracking number on their label they sent. Still nothing. This company needs to respond to these complaints. Called the number today. It is no longer3 in service. Very bad company.
