The Parts place Inc. FAKE PARTS COUNTERFEIT PARTS

I bought several items from The Parts Place inc. on Ebay. A supposed Hurst shifter kit that was a counterfeit Chinese piece of junk. I have rebuilt several Hurst shifters and installed many Hurst shifter kits, this kit was definately not a genuine Hurst shifter product. Purchased a supposed Wilwood brake kit, again counterfeit Chinese junk. Also bought several parts listed as genuine GM parts and even pictured in the auction with GM packaging bearing the GM logo and part number. Parts shipped in plastic bags not GM packaging. Clearly the same thing as mentioned above, fake GM parts made in China! NEVER AGAIN!!

I had to pay re-stock fees and shipping costs both ways.....FOR ALL THESE CRAP PARTS. This company makes it's money off re-stock fees and selling Chinese counterfeit JUNK! STEER CLEAR!

70 chevelle blower motor resistor

the parts place ad on ebay said "fits 70 chevelle" when i got it, it was so large it would not fit into the hole. they said to return it for a refund but at my cost. it was their fault, not mine. they said there were two types and they did not have the other one. i have been restoring these cars for 50 years and have never seen 2 types. they said to order it by part number. their ad never said this. finally after 3 days wasted with emails to them i contacted ebay. i got a response with a return label that could not be downloaded after several tries. also they were charging me a restocking fee for a wrong part. they said if it was not returned by nov 1 it could not be returned. i had to pay $10.12 to return the wrong part to them. now i am out over $40.00 for a part that could not be used. these people would not accept responsibility for their mistake. i will never recommend them. they sell junk and won't stand behind what they sell.

I purchased an expensive car cover and it ripped in 1 month. A perfect square so it was a defect. I sent them a picture and the responce was , "Good Afternoon, I am sorry to see that. I spoke with my manager and there is nothing that we can do.

Thank you" They dont stand behind thier product and didnt even offer a replacement or discount off a new cover.

Stock Steel Wheels

Purchased hundreds of parts over the years with The Parts Place. Have had good luck and service. However, just ordered a set of stock steel wheels to fit a factory stock 1 owner 1964 Belair. They didn't fit. Sent pic's with why they didn't work. The Parts Place agreed to return. However, at my expense! What?? I ordered the correct part. They shipped me a wrong part! I'm to pay??? The parts place inc mislead their customers they Claim to sell high quality parts I purchase a dash instrument cluster for my 1971 Chevy I paid over 1000 dollars to have installed had to removed because the tachometer did not work.had to pay to ship back to the parts place they said it work fine and send it back had it installed again it work butt it isn't accurate when the car is at idle the tach read around 200 rpm the car is actually idling around 900-950 rpm also the clock doesn't keep time the knob that you set clock with fell off i paid over 700 dollars for this China made junk

ComplaintParts Place” and if you had a negative experience. I am deeply disappointed with them. We purchased a fiberglass hood over $1398 dollars. The shipping agency damaged the box. But you could not tell on the truck. The driver forced signature before he would unload the package. So, once it was signed for he refused to take it back. He jumped in his truck and left, The Parts Place customer service said " once you signed for it is your problem. You never shoulda ever signed ( refuse it). Even explaining to the rude guy ( Shaun) he said " our policy is no refunds or replacements once you signed for it. I told him how can we see the damage if the driver won’t unload until he has your signature. Needless to say I got no where. But get this I called the transport company. The so called shipping charges my son paid of $220 and the cost of the replacement hood is being paid to "The Parts Place”.

After I got off phone with The Parts Place they filed a claim for the shipping and replacement cost of the fiberglass hood. The transport company said” your son cannot file a claim because he is not our customer. They refused to give me the claim number since he was not the account holder. So The Part Place stands to collect twice ( first they collected from my son) and now they get a check from World Wide Express. Which in turn filed a claim with Roadrunner the third party that delivered the damaged package. So World Wide gets a check for what they are forced to pay The Parts Place. Again, Roadrunner cannot provide me a refund or a claim number because I am not legally their customer.

I totally regret giving The Parts Place another chance. They never want to be held accountable for anything. I guess I will be having to file in small claims court case to address the issue. Since The Parts Place refuses to refund or replace the fiberglass hood. After reading several reviews I sincerely hope you res

Parts Place Inc, Wrong Part !

Bought a AHU VW upper timing belt cover" backside" from this outfit. They shipped a greasy, filthy bent part that would no fit!

I had to pay shipping both ways. I sent it and tracked it and they got it, I did not get a call, They sat on it for 2 weeks, I called them

at least 3 time's, thier customer service seems to be bothered with returns. It took 30 days to get this out fitt to refund, and cost approx

$18.00 in shipping for thier mistake, AssHoles!

This out fit is over priced and not customer friendly

I also returned a part to another outfit This week, I am refund no cost in less than a week.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this bunch.
