I bought a used 2007 Nissan Xterra from Kia Depot in Santa Ana in Feb 2016... It's a beautiful suv, or at least I thought. I bought this "as is", I was a first time buyer, and thought this was normal. Turns out that the entire undercarriage is so rusted that it has been literally falling apart, which they did not disclose to me. Their service inspection department HAD to have seen this during inspections. And interesting fact, a dealership can do a "title washing" if a vehicle is sold to another state. So if it were salvaged in New York, there is a way that they can hide it - even Carfax wouldn't see it. I've already had to pay $500 in repairs and $ in getting a rental car. The emergency brake crumbled and fell apart behind the rear drum.. When I confronted them with it, they basically asked me if I could get $1500-$3,000 to put down on a new car!! This thing is financed and I'm paying $285 a month for a rusty nightmare !! Are these guys allowed to sell such a unsafe car like this !!??? This is the worst thing I've ever seen and I'm so upset that I want to throw up - Can they do this ?
