Tapestry Girls Reviews

  • Dec 27, 2020

We ordered a tapestry and we were sent the wrong item. We contacted their customer service department to let them know and they said they didn't ship the wrong item. This was their response... "We have located your order. That is the correct tapestry. Sometimes there can be variations of the prints. This is a normal process of printing and is listed on our website here: https://tapestrygirls.com/pages/tapestry-girls-faq However, we can offer you a discount code of 10% off should you choose to purchase something else.

The code is TAPESTRYGIRLS10." Both the tapestry we ordered and the tapestry that they sent us are available on Amazon. There is no "variation of the prints". They just shipped us the incorrect tapestry. We further requested an address to ship the product back to them for a refund. They responded by telling us that they can't issue a refund because the product was a clearance item... "Unfortunately, we can't refund/exchange your item as the item purchased was an on sale, clearance item.

This policy is outlined on our website here: https://tapestrygirls.com/pages/refunds. Please refer to our website policies for additional information. You can ship the items that you own wherever you wish, but we're not going to be issuing a refund." So, first they claim that the tapestry will sometimes have "variations in prints" and offered a discount if we buy more products then they claim that the item was on clearance and a refund/exchange was not an option. So basically, Tapestrygirls can send you any tapestry then say sorry, there are variations in prints and that item was on sale so an exchange or refund is not an option. So which is it? A variation in print or a clearance item? After we told them that we would make a complaint with the BBB, they threatened legal action should we do so. "We will not tolerate harassment or threatening of our support staff, breach of our confidentiality correspondences to the BBB or any other 3rd party". So in the end, consumers have no rights.

After going back and forth with the owner via email, he called the police and made up a story that I physically threatented him. This was a total fabrication. I have the entire email thread. All we wanted was to be treated fairly. They know they didn't send us what we ordered.

Here is some of what the owner wrote to me after complaining on a public consumer reports type of website...

to me:

We'll see what you can get when you bring your fat a*s out from behind your computer. With all these internet rants you're starting to sound like a bi*ch that had a "bad shopping experience". What type of grown a*s man sits at home and writes on the internet about his "shopping experience", his "customer service"?

Like I said, a whiny cry baby bi*ch of a man.
