This is a multi level company. Dawn Brewer is a member she had an ad on Creaigslist that I answered. We spoke on the phone, she told me that I could easily make $2,000. a month she said if you advertise you will get alot of business, everyone loves to travel. She said evertime I sell travel I will earn point and get to travel for free. Then she asked where I would like to go, I told her Italy, she acted like she was looking up some information on the computer, she told me that I would earn over $400. for the flight and more for the hotel and car rental, that would be about $100. that I would make.
She told me it would be a $50. month fee, and $408 . inital fee to join.
I thought it sounded really good, I did some research on line and could not find anything negative, so I paid $408. to join I then went through the training videos, it took me about a month to go through then, on one video it was announced that we do not make anything on flights. I was shocked, because I was told I would make $400. on the flight to Italy. I called Dawn and asked her what that was about, she said oh that is right you do not make anything on domestic flights. I said you told me I would make $400. for a flight she said you only make money on some International flights. I asked why she did not tell me that, she said oh I am sure I did. No I am sure you did not, it was implied that I would make great money on flights.
Then I found out they were trying to charge me $80. a month not $50. I called the corporate office and told the gal that answered the phone that it had just barely been one month and I explained what was told to me, and that I wanted a refund because I was lied to.she said I only had 5 days to get my money back, it is too late now, she said they would not give me a refund, that I should have read the contract. I said the contract has nothing to do with it, I was LIED to.
I told the gal on the phone that I want to talk to a Manager, she told that she was gone to lunch and that she would call me, I never heard from her.
I made a comment on their FaceBook company page about how I was lied to, right away I got a phone call from Chris Cokley, he told me he is the president.
I explained what happened and he made a comment that it takes a while to learn about the rules of the company, he made light of it. I said no I was lied to and I want my money back. I did not learn that I was lied to within 5 days, I just learned that I was lied to after studying for about a month, paying to get marketing materiels, paying to start a blog, plus all the time and work I have put into this, and I find out it was a big lie.
I mentioned that Dawn told me she had been with the company for 6 years, he said we have not even been in business for 6 years, I said I guess that is another lie she told me, I believed what she said. My decision to join this company and pay you over $400. was based on lies. Also she also told me I would be charged $50. a month and they tried to charge me $80. I said I do not want any more charges and I want my money back,
Chris said I can see I am getting no where with you, I wanted to help but I can see that is not going to happen. I said I need to get my money back and he hung up.
I am single and because of chronic back pain I am only able to work part time, that is all the money I had in savings.I felt desperate and really wanted to believe Dawn. This is not right and I need to get my money back.
