I received a free invitation to a seminar where we could learn how to flip houses like the HGTV show Flip or Flop with Tarek and Christina. The meeting was interesting and the people presenting the project were great sales people. After the meeting they have tables set up in the back to purchase more materials and a three day seminar for further education. They make it sound so easy and that everyone who is doing this is making money. I signed up for the three day seminar, paid my $1000.00 and went. They pack alot of information into the three days. I grew concerned when at the lunch break they gave us scripts to call our credit card companies to ask for an increase in the credit limit. Again, I did it for a couple of cards I have.

I was told that there would be people/contacts for us to use to help us get going in the business such as hard money loans, investors etc. They never tell you that they will not usually work with a first time house flipper. If you could find one (they tell us to find our own contacts after we get invested with our money) They will not loan you the money for the whole project either. So you really need to have your own cash or other available means to get started. I purchased some "mentoring" for $3500.00 and it is not even worth a penny. I get phone calls every couple of weeks but if I discuss some problems I have had they tell me not to be negitative. It is like taking a class and the teacher is not there to answer questions or guide you. The web sites they tell you to use are not good either. One of them has wholesalers selling so high that the value of the house is not there and if you are not careful you will not make a profit. The website is greedy and over price the houses for their benefit. They also do not mention that being a real estate agent is a plus. Having access to accurate comps when looking for these houses is critical. Again, they tell you to network and find the agents yourself. I have paid out $30,000 for training and help and I have not been able to buy one house or flip a property. They say it can be done in three to four months and they will help you. They do not help.

I am a smart person. I did check out some of the complaints about them before signing up but you will always find some people who complain about anything. I feel that I have been taken to the cleaners and they will not give back any of the money I have spent. In addition, they say you can do this part time maybe 5-10 hours a week but that is a big lie. It is a full time business from the very beginning. I can't believe that Tarek and Christina have lent their names to this training and company. I wonder if they checked Success Path out before they got involved? By the way, they do not show up at the meetings. The people conducting the classes remind me of used car salesmen. They will spin it anyway they can to keep you in the meetings. If you leave, they talk about them after they leave. Now that is professional! Not.

I would like a complete refund and to have them put out of business. I really do not know how they sleep at night while ripping off people who just want the truth and help to get started in this business.

Stay far away from them. They will lie when the truth fits better.

Promise the Tareck and Christina are going to show up and teach you, they never show up. Give you info but never the full information ask you to pay $2,000 to go to a 3 dat training only to give more info all of which you can do nothing with until you buy the bigger training that cost over $25,000. I never made it that far and as soon as they found out I wasn't interested I was separated from the group. It's a total rip off and a waste of your time and money. I can believe Tareck and Christina would allow HGTV and these other people to use them to rip people off. I guess everyone has a price! What a shame!!

Glad didn't signup

I just attended the session and glad after reading reviews above that I didn't signed up. They are very gud sales man. Worst part is they ignore u and make bad face when u say u not signing up. I think anything that doesn't gives u time to think about and ask u to take action on the spot is fishy.

We bought the Success Path program and subsequently the Advanced Real Estate Education program, both with promises of being able to make that money back within the year. The farther we got into it, the more we realized it was never going to happen. You can do the same thing as these guys are teaching by doing some online research and spending thousands of dollars less. In fact, I had to file bankruptcy as a result of this scam. Do Not Buy!

We attended a "FREE" seminar in sept 2016. Of course there was another 3 days trainging for 2k if you wanted to learn more about flipping house whiich was our objective. So we "invested the 2k for the classes. Low and behold...now they try to get you to sign up for the super advanced classes for 21k-41k depending on the package. We decided to go for it since 41k was low in starting a business compared to the other businesses we lookied into.

Well the first set of classes was NOTHING that we signed up for. The instructor was a joke and didnt even follow the Itinerary. We immediately complained and after a week or so got a 10K refund. At this point we wanted nothing more of this companies 'training". Evern the money people they referred you too were scam artists. They did nothing for you other than to rip you off further.

The bottom line is we are out 31k thanks to the fraud and lies of Success Path and everyone involved with this company. They hide like the cowards they are. We dont plan on giving up. We will fight this until ALL our money is paid back to us. We will use all our resources necessary including all legal channels.

Success Path are a bunch of criminals!! Stay away from their seminars and tell all your family and friends to throw away the postcards that they mail out on a regular basis!!

Success path, rules of renovation, or whatever they're calling themselves at the moment will just entice you to a free seminar Fair enough) under the guise of learning how to flip houses. They use the likeness of the hgtv host du jour For my free seminar last month, they were using hilary farr from "love it or list it") to trick you into thinking that it's more about flipping houses, etc. What you will eventually find out is that these folks are not about flipping in as much as they are taking your money for educational workshops on how to buy tax liens that are about to expire.

I love both love it or list it, and flip or flop, so of course, i went to the free seminar. This seminar exists for one reason and one reason only; to upsell you to buying the educational seminars that last three days.

The actual companies behind this are called things like tax lien vault, or tax lien buyers club, or whatever b.S. Name they can come up with to fool those that have attended in the past into thinking this is a different company. They'll have their certainly likable, but cliched "used car salesman" push his woo-h*o tactics about how much money you're going to make buying due-to-expire tax liens, and guess what? You will own the house/property free and clear.

I'm sure some folks smarter than you and i Who actually have the connections and the know-how can certainly make a good living doing this), but those are few and far between, as the competition is fierce, and they are actually located near the properties, do their due diligence, and do what they know they need to do, while folks like you and i are scratching our heads and butts. Most of these properties are pieces of crap abandoned lots and the original owners walked away from both the property and the lien because they could. They can't actually sell the land, thus the tax lien will never be collected anyway. But you, like a fool, take these folk's word on it and buy it without knowing that you will never get the roi that you're expecting, plus, now you are stuck with the tax lien. Congrats! :/

Oh, and like a used car salesman, the price for these classes are usually around $6k, "but for today only" you can attend this seminar for the low low price of just under $2k. What a bargain!

So do the math: 100 dinks x approx 2k, and these jackholes have just made close to $200k a night If everyone in attendance buys the snake oil they're selling). If only half buy it, they've still made close to $100k in a night. You will never see that money again, nor will you reap the rewards of actually attending the classes. Trump university much?

Please do yourself a favor and forego this program, or if you do go, leave the credit cards and checkbooks at home. They're good. I'll give them that. They're very good at convincing you this is the ticket. Even i almost bought it. Thank god i left my disposable income sources at home because when i was finally able to do my research, i found many similar reviews and stories. These guys are banking a small fortune, and before the heat gets turned up, they shut down for a while, change their name, find a new hgtv personality to become their "face" and start allllllll over.

Check bbb, check yelp, check outscam...See for yourself.

You've been warned. You're welcome!

On May 14, 2016 my daughter and I attended a free seminar to learn real estate investing. We were guided to making a purchase of $1997 for a 3 day seminar that would allow you and a guest, into all of their secrets and that we would have access to money for our new real estate business. Alluding to the fact that they would be there for us 100% of the way. And for any reason we would get a refund. The fine lines said different but we had already paid before we got that.

On May 20,21and 22 of 2016 My daughter and I attended the 3-day seminar in which they give you just enough information that you understand how it can work but you don't get the full knowledge of what exactly what to do. They said we could call the company and get the funds to help. We would have to have all our forms ready for them and they would go over everything to basically ensure it was a good deal and then we would get the funds.

They had us get the credit cards we had up to the highest available balance we could get. Which for me it caused my credit report to be pulled. Needless to say my credit score went down significantly at that point. It became overwelming to me so I didn't call the rest of the cards. Then they said we had the money to pay for a mentor for another $42000. This was getting crazy. I just flat out wouldn't do it and the girl who was "helping us through" told us at that point if we didn't get a mentor we wouldn't succeed. What a bummer. My daughter and I left the seminar but we were still hopeful.

My daughter contacted them repeately and finally got a number to the "FUNDS". What a joke it was for a sales agent for a self directed IRA. I was so disappointed.

I'd love to see justic done here. They shouldn't beable to play words to take peoples money. I want my money back. They told us that we didn't meet the criteria to get a refund. What the heck!

Is there a class action suit out there on them, or Marc Hrisko?
