I do not subscribe to any magazine. In the past 8 months or so I have begun receiving PEOPLE MAGAZINE in my mailbox to a number of people with a multitude of different last names. I do not know these people, have never heard of them and have no idea where they might live. Two of the magazines received were to a JESSICA STRAUGHTER and another to a ELIZABETH HOODLET. I have thrown out the many other magazines received that were sent here because there is no way of knowing where they might be contacted. These two were received just three days ago.

I attempted to contact PEOPLE MAGAZINE who have no diredt contact number in the states. In contacting SUBCO I reached someone in the Phillipines. He had no idea as to who these people were and told me that they get their subscriptions by people filling out surveys. The United States sources out too many of our businesses. My recommendation is not to reply to any surveys no matter how legitimate they might appear. Be careful as to how you pay your online purchases and be sure that you have a reputable bank who will back you if you need to disptue a purchase.

I know when the situation happened, and I know exactly what happened - but now I'm furious because this is still going on.

First, I own up to this mistake: I misdialed a phone number to pay a bill, and accidentally gave my credit card information to a third party thinking I was paying a bill (the third party never corrected me when I asked if they were my billing agency - of course they said yes). But once I found several fraudulent charges on my bank account I canceled my credit card and called the places who charged me to cancel their services.

However, three months later, I've suddenly begun receiving a magazine I did not order. I checked the subscription office of the magazine and low and behold, I "owe" $75 for a five-year magazine subscription I never ordered. When I contacted the magazine directly, I discovered the subscription was ordered through - you guessed it - Subco.

My guess is one of Subco's third party vendors is illegally sending credit card numbers to order magazines so they can receive some kind of financial bonus. It has to stop. Subco, check your vendor lists. This is an unacceptible process. I have the phone number of the service who scammed me, however, so I can provide proof of the scam.

I received, so far, two magazines, Cosmopolitan yesterday and then Glamour today. I called both companies and discovered another Company called SUBCO, has signed me up for magazines subscriptions. One is foe a two year subscription and the other is a four year subscription. I did not sign up anywhere for any magazines. This is totally Unsolicited and unfortunately I have not been able to reach a live person at SUBCO to find out why or who is ripping me off. Both magazine companies agreed to cancel the subscriptions after I advised them this is likely a matter of identity theft and/or fraud. They advised that SUBCO would have the billing information 7sed to order the magazines sent to my address, again, I cannot reach a human being at SUBCO. I want this stopped immediately. If subco wishes to reply to my comment and provide a number to speak with a human being, give me the source of where they received my information, and scrub my information from their system, I will be satisfied. If not, 3 days from today's date, I will file suit against them in Court.

I paid for a 3 year subscription to Maxim magazine in March 2017. At the time, I did not realize that my subscription order was going through a thrid party company called Subco. I received the May and June/July issue then noticed the issues stopped. When I contacted Maxim to check on my subscription, I was told that my subscription was cancelled by Subco, a magazine subscription marketer, and to call them at 800-258-3350.

When I called Subco, I was told that the publisher Maxim cancelled my subscrition and that I need to call the publisher. I called the publisher back and was told that they could only recommend that I attempt to get a refund from Subco. After several calls of going back and forth it has become obvoius that I have been ripped off by this Subco company.

Do not order through Subco. They took my money with no intention of proviing a subscription or a refund. This is a scam.

I started receiving unordered magazines. When I called to cancel, I was told that the subscriptions came from Subo, a third party vendor, and I would have to contact them to cancel. Funny thing though, you can't get through on their customer help line.

I received Playboy magazine in the mail, which I never ordered. I called Playboy and they have an account for me started by Subco. I called Subco and they told me they fulfilled an order placed by Magazine Fulfillment Services, Inc. (MFS) in Phoenix AZ and I would need to call them. I left a message with MFS but have not received a call back. I do not know why I have received this magazine and who is being charged. This is fraud and I am irate.

Slamming unsuspecting people (especially the elderly) with unordered and unwanted magazines should be illegal.

Time, Inc. is obviouly desperate for subscriptions to resort to such activity as sending a magazine at no fee, then hitting the unsuspecting person for a renewal fee. Shame on you!

I have printed the internet pages I was able to find and will forward them to the AZ Attorney General in hopes something can be done to stop them!

The website contains a place to cancel the order via email, but when I click on send NOTHING happens. More fraud!

I received an unwanted magazine subscription without my knowledge or permission. I did not sign up or ask to recieve this subscription nor did I know why or how it came to me. My person information and account information had somehow been sent from one company to another and I had been signed up and mailed a magazine. When I called Cosmopolitan they said a company called Subco had given them my info and they could not cancel the subcription that I would have to call them. After callingn and holding for 20 minutes only to be hung up on and having to call back an dhold again I was told another company had given my info to them but that was all the details I could get. How can people get away with just stealing your information and sending you something unwanted without your knowledge and charging you for it and not even explain how or why this happened???

Subco consistently commits fraud and scams people. They troll, collecting peoples information and then use the information to fradulantly sign them up for magazine subscriptions. I have never, will never sign-up to receive magazines. Yet, consistantly as soon as I cancel one subscription another one is sent. When you contact the magazine directly they say they can not cancel the subscription, it has to go through Subco - the company who created the subscription.

I started receivign In-Style Magazine. I didnt order it but the stamped address information says I have a subscription until october 2017.

I was complaining to some co-workers and learned that one of them started receiving Parents magazine (they have no kids), another O - Oprah magazine, and another also In-style.

I didnt order this. I am totally not interested in this - and now it's up to me to spend my time trying to contact Subco to cancel the subscription so that I dont get billed for it. This is clear cut fraud - why is it allowed? And if four co-workers out of 7 have started receiving eroneous magazines - this is apparently very common practice!

I contacted In-Style and they cancelled the prescription from being delivered but said the same thing someone else mentioned; there will be more issues becuase the labels are preprinted. There are no labels, it's printed on the cover.

I see the question asking if I used a credit card for this transaction. My question is - What transaction????? I have no idea where this started or how they chose me to send this fraudulent subscription to!

I received a copy of 'People' magazine in the mail 9-9-16. I did not subscribe. I don't usually get magazines and if I did it would not be 'People'. The subscription number is: 3232 3334 210 I sent an email to them complaining. I changed my bank card. I want my money back. I had no idea at all how this came about. I am going back to shopping in town and using checks or cash. Candace Garner
