After returning the "trial period" package well within the alloted 25 day period, Midwest Stress Center charged my card three times for about $200. They acknowledged that this was a mistake and that I am entitled to a refund. I've been on the phone with them every couple weeks for over four months now and they keep tellling me that their system is down and that I am still in line for a refund. They even told me that they are not currently processing payments due to their system troubles. There is only one phone number to call and the representatives I've talked to have no clue as to the status of their faulty system. According to these folks they are unable to transfer me to anyone else with more knowledge nor can they get more information on their "broken" system telling me "I'm not a computer programmer, and don't know how long it will take to fix."

In my latest attempt to call them I get a "this number is not available from your calling area" message.

I do not believe for one minute that a business would go for almost half a year not being able to process payments, I'm certain they are giving me the run-around in hopes that I'll just let it go so they can keep the $200 that they withdrew from my account with no authorization. In effect they flat out stole money from me and I'm extremely irritated due to the principal of the matter.

Is anyone interested in a class action??? I am!!!

They have a great pitch on TV and their website, but their product delivery system is a disaster. They promise you a free trial of their supplements and their CD program, but then charge you the full amount. The sad thing is that they don't send you anything unless you call and complain. Once they do send you something, it's past the 14 day free trial period, so they claim you can't send it back. We received an unsealed, padded envelope with a bill in it for two bottles of supplements. Maybe there were two bottles of pills in there at one time, but they didn't survive the trip. Take it as a warning when you first call them and the agent is relieved you're not screaming at him. They get screamed at a lot. I think they just prey upon people who are depressed because they've found they won't fight back. It's immoral and criminal what they do.
