I'm writing this in regards to Sports car international located in Lynnwood WA. This is a used car dealership. I purchased a 2015 jeep wrangler on 2/18/2023. Prior to leaving the dealership, I did a walk around to make sure everything was working properly, it wasn't. The fog lights and the back brake light was not working at all. I told salesman Daniel and he was like oh really? I will tell me boss. They had someone go down too ORileys and purchase new bulbs and they replaced them. Then the LED headlights were not working properly either. Daniel stated well we don't have LED lights you will have to get those at your own cost. I asked if the vehicle had been in any accidents Daniel said no. I pulled a carfax today and it said it was in a accident on April 2022. Before leaving dealership, the gas light was on saying the vehicle was on empty. I told Daniel about the gas light being on empty and his response was, we have used the last bit of gas we have here. Then he told me where a gas station was in Lynnwood to go get gas. Next day one day after vehicle was home 2/19/2023, it would not start. Had to wait 10 minutes to see if it would start again, It wouldn't. Waited another 5 minute then it started drove about 10 minutes to try to get home, and the vehicle died while driving. Is was dark time as well, I was scared. I had to wait again too see if it would start. Waited 15 minutes the vehicle finally started and I made it home. I called dealership Sunday night 2/19/23 told them about vehicle braking down. First question from Daniel was " well your purchased a warranty didn't you"! I could not believe it when I heard this. Hes like well we don't have a tow truck to get this jeep up here. We can look at it if you get it up here. We got it towed over an hour away at my expense on a Sunday night. I was told a owner would be contacting me the next day 2/20/23. I had to call 5 times and finally a owner named Michael O'neill called me and was very rude and disrespectful yelling at me very unprofessional. No phone call the rest of the afternoon to say what's was wrong with the vehicle nothing all afternoon. I texted Daniel telling him I found out there was a reported accident found on Car fax, and I was told this vehicle had no accidents and I was lied to. I received a very rude text message response from him along with a message saying they only go off Auto trade for vehicle reports and there was nothing wrong with my jeep at 7pm at night. When I talked to the owner at 130 today he said he would be giving me a call back never happened. I responded to Daniels message beings he tried saying this vehicle did not overheat. I also had taken a picture of the temp when it did overheat and I sent that pictures to him. Basically, he said I lied about this vehicle breaking down and over heating. When looking over my application it shows me making more money then what I have made so the banks will approve my applications. I had noticed when I looked at my application beings they rush you when you are signing papers. They also make you sign a paper so if your vehicle gets stolen they get money but it charges you an additional 500 dollars on your loan. I was told I had to pay another loan off in order for this loan to go through. When calling to find out how much I owe, on this loan today, I owe more than what I have and cannot pay the loan off. So I told the owner this and he told me well that's fine, I will just in house this loan myself. That's against the law I would have to sign papers first. Another thing, I never said I made as much money as what is written on the loan document. Its incorrect. So not sure if was done intentional or not. I told them I do not want this vehicle as I do not feel comfortable driving it and its unsafe. I had it one day and it broke down on me. This business is so unprofessional and untrustworthy and really needs to be looked at. I never received a certified safety vehile report. In the state of Wa its unlawful to sale a vehicle that is not safe to operated. I also had to buy new windshield wiper blades yesterday as they were making old and not working correctly. If I did not check the lights I would have been operating an unlawful vehicle. Its not the customers responsibility to have to do a vehicle inspection prior to buying a vehicle this should have been been completed prior to selling it and placing it on the lot and the vehicle should be working correctly per RCW 46.70.101. I have looked at several other reviews and other customers are having slimilar issues with being treated horrible and unprofessional from this place of business. Will you please help me with this? As I do not want other customers going through this if I can help it. I have attached my text messages showing you how unprofessional this place of business is.
