I went buy a motorcycle at socalmotocycles. The Bike I wanted was too short for me as I am 6'3". I wanted a Victory. They sold me a custum made motorcycle with Harley Davidson logo on tank. S&S engine, Jim's 6 speed transmission, nice bags, chrome, etc...

After sending it to service to go through it, I wsa given a bike with No Headlight(not working), No horn, no breaklight working fromk hand break...I am lucky i made it home safely. I called them about it, they picked it up and fixed the lights, the breaklight, and ordered a horn.. IT also had a wierd vibration ....

I went for a secong ride aftert my first ride home, The Drive belt broke. About 40 miles from my hone. Thank God I was at an intersection and not on the freewat!!!! They came and picked it up again. Again, wierd vibrationj noise.

A new belt was put on, and a cheasy little moped horn.....

3rd day of riding, went about 5 miles to Burbank, it died, would not start.

the ignition key broke, had to leave the bike overnight and have it towed to my house

found a locksmith who made a copy of the broken key and off I went. He told me that the key was a gas cap key, very lame.

I then take it to a Hartley dealership to install a new igintion, they refused to work opn it.

I took it to another Harley Davidson Mechanic who installed the new ignition, BUT, he refused to test ride it, saying it was not safe. I thought to myself:Geez I'm riding a bike that a mechanic is afraid to test ride????

A friend of mine from H.A. has been riding 50 years was also arfaid to test ride it, he told me I should make them take it back.

I asked the dealer to cancel the deal and they refused, saying they are done...now, I am lookinjg for an attourney to go af go afer them for WILLFUL NEGLIGENCE..to sell an UNSAFe bike to an unsuspecting person....

So, They will have to reckon with me, sooner than later....

DO NOT trust THIS DEALER, BUY YOUR BIKE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

now, the dealer knew this was not a sound bike, yet theySOLD IT ANYWAY, KNOWING IT IS UNSAFE TO RIDE.

NOW I AM AFRAID TO RIDE IT......PUT A CALL IN TO THE OWNER, TOM HICKS, HAVENT HEARD BACK YET.....IF HE DOESNT RESPOND, HE WILL HAVE AN ATTOURNEY AND POSSBLY HA PAYING HIM A VISIT.

A couple of weeks before Christmas I put money down on a 2014 Triumph Thunderbird with the agreement to come in the first week of January and pay the balance in cash. I was appreciative and quite happy. I was reviewing the website shortly before Christmas and the have a 2015 Thunderbird Commander listed as for sale for the same price. The Commander is a better bike in many ways and I contacted my sales guy, Robert Burns and asked to move my deposit to the Thunderbird. He resp...onded with attitude and in essence said I could not switch. I told him I was unhappy with this reply and I emailed the owner, Tom Hicks. Tom said he would look into it and "Do me right". The next evening I get a call from the manager, Kyle. He tells me the Commander might be sold, very unconvincing and suspect.

The Commander was still listed as for sale at that time. Kyle told me the bike will continue to show up for sale up to a week due to the system yet Robert explained to me in detail that the sales guys take care of that manually and whenever they want to. The bottom line is, Tom Hicks never followed up, the Commander is still for sale they have lost not one but three sales from this. No apology, no offers of another comparable bike around the same price, no offer to discount the inferior bike, NOTHING. Mr Hicks, if this is doing a customer right, you must really screw the others. You lied dude. You made nothing right. I even gave you the days of opportunity to fix this and you FAILED. I even told Kyle I would talk to my brothers about not leaving bad reviews if this was made right. Epic Fail. P'S.-The Commander is STILL listed as available under the menu, Showroom; Incredible Deals. Word to the wise, find a reputable dealer.
