Sound Clinic Reviews

Crooks! Who charges a new patient $50 the first time they miss an appointment? The appointment would have been for my second visit at the clinic.

If you want Naturopathic/Holistic care to gain legitimacy this is the wrong way to go about it.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL NEVER SAY OR WRITE A POSITIVE WORD ABOUT THESE CHEATS.

I went to the sound clinic because of stress overload from our new born baby (who was three weeks old at the time) and work related stress from a crazy job.

Paid my $50 copay and bought $30 worth of pills with an open mind and out the door I went. Btw, this is the first time I've had to pay for samples (a couple of the things I was trying were just that). I realize running a practice in the holistic care industry is tough and money must be tight and now I understand why they charge $50 for missed appointments, because every missed appointment is a lost opportunity to sell more pills.

Wake up and smell the coffee people 33% of medicine is the placebo effect.

Mark my word, they will recommend a regiment of pills which they want you to buy from them. FYI, you can buy most of what they're selling at a reputable vitamin store for cheaper.

Long story short...my first appointment was late July 2015; my second appointment was set for Aug. 6, 2015. When I realized that day I wasn't going to make the appointment because of work issues, I called the clinic to let them know. Somehow I guess their time is more important than my time because even though it wasn't 24 hours in advance (totally unaware of the policy at the time) I still called out of common courtesy, but I guess that doesn't count for anything.

Five months later with the clinic in the review mirror, I get a bill for $50 for the missed appointment. I tried calling the clinic per the instructions of their billing department but to no avail. Good luck getting someone one the phone at the clinic, it's nearly impossible.

Apparently, somewhere hidden in all the paper work you sign at the first appointment is the 24 hour cancelation policy, which I have yet to see.

Life happens and trying to adhere to a 24 hour cancelation policy in this day and age is simply not realistic. And surely, the staff at the clinic has never missed an appointment, right?

At this point I'm sure their next step is a collection agency.

Maybe, my next step should be a court of law?
