They trick you into signing this load of crap. I have contacted my lawyer. They are threatening me to pay and took it to the collection agency. Please be aware and stay away!
Please keep posting updates to how to deal with Brian Weiss's bullying and intimidation tactics. Has anyone here on this platform been successful in overcoming all of the threats? Who here has been successful in getting them to leave you alone.
I received a phone call from this company asking if I wanted to sign up for a $1 trial to try their reseller program. The agent on the phone insisted that it was only going to cost $1 for the month then $499 thereafter.
They also promised me leads, a responsive modern website, and all these features that are non-existent. I was never informed about the cancellation policy before I signed and I received an email today from Brian that I am now supposed to pay $499 a month if I cant find someone to transfer it to.
I told him many times the reason for my cancellation was because I am enlisting in the military and will not have enough time (or money) to keep this going. It fell on deaf ears. All this company cares about is money and their "services" are below par at best.
They are out to get your money. Then try to charge you and threat you to pay without no notice. Hungry Assholes! I have contacted my lawyer.
The company acts like your 1st month is $1 and you get to try the reseller plan as a demo but rushes you to sign a contract that locks you in for 2 years @ $500. 2 days later I realised this and asked him to cancel and he charged immediatly my card $658 CDN and tells me I can't cancel. Not to mention the software is terrible.
The SocialXpand company is one of the most misleading services I have ever seen, and without a doubt one of the poorest products I have ever used. The reel you in with promises that they will provide a web site that will help you manage social media accounts and get you customers. However, they do not provide help at all. The only help they give is pointing you to a website that you will have to buy cold leads from.
To be honest, i should not have fell for this ripoff. i was looking to start a company and thought they would be a good way to get started seeing as they offered not only a product but help getting customers. The problem is, upon signing up and signing the contract there is no way to cancel it if you are dissatisfied. I have never heard of an internet service making you pay hundreds of dollars a month and providing no way to cancel if you are not happy.
The thing about it is, they slip it at the end of a long contract and don't at all mention that you cannot cancel for 2 YEARS.
In addition, the website they provide is subpar and low quality. There are many options such as Hootsuite and AgoraPulse that are hundreds of times better and provide better service all around. However, the user interface of this product looks like it was made 20 years ago.
I advice anyone who hears of the company SocialXpand that you run away. It is not worth your time or money. I am just writing this so that others will know ahead of time that they are going to waste thousands of dollars creating dealing with Brian Weiss from Social Xpand.
PS: I am now a social media expert for a billion dollar company that has used many products since being ripped off by this product so i just want to warn others and advice them to pick another way to manage your social media.
I was scammed too. There is an official report I filed with BBB to try to save unsuspecting people of this horrible company and downright evil person. They promised me 10k leads/month, a "modern" website, guaranteed sales and even threw in a "free cruise" as a bribe if I wasn't able to get sales.
Brian Weiss is the most evil person that i knowed. He is ripping off the poor people who want to start a business by intermet with little money. He send via email a form with a hidden clausule where he says that the customer is obligated to pay $300 monthly for 2 years,for a total of more than $7000! By the time that the people realize the ruse of this stupid thief is too late, they have already signed the document digitally that forces them to pay for two years.
He do not give nothing for the money! When the client tells him that he did not know about the clause and that all the internet companies offer to cancel when they want without any charges or contracts, he insults with all kinds of threats and emails spam. Then he goes on the phone calls by phone as a psychopath calling at all hours even at dawn and leaving text messages and voice recordings incessantly.
Then he goes to his last resort and sends letters from law firms saying that we are sued and that his lawyers will take care of the case and we will have to present ourselves to the court before the courts. This stupid evil cruel little man without scruples is the most detestable thing that I have known via internet, it is a shame for the United States, he should be in jail for deception, blatant theft, intimidation and threats without motive against the poor clients that his sin was have run into this being of crap.
Says if i don't pay $5.00 for entry fee they'll sue me for $999.000 i don't remember any contract i just know this say's scam
I had been filling out applications on Indeed.com, and then Mr. Weiss called me was telling me about his business. I told Mr. Weiss that I could not afford the business. I hang up then later call my phone and I told him that I told you that I couldn't do the business. Mr. Weiss replied well you're in a contract so welcome to the business. I said how did I sign up for something I didn't know about. So he decides to send this bogus contract that I never look at and was tricked into signing it. I don't know how I signed it.
I now have a law firm threatening to sue me about this foolish contract. What should I do about it?
I want to sue them for fraud and withdrawing money out of their "employees" accounts. If their business is a private business why are all the same exact videos they send us to our emails are all over the Internet already in on YouTube?

Socialxpand is a great social media company. They help people to get new contracts for their business through social media marketing. Their charges are reasonable for their good work.
