I purchased a used 2015 BMW from Sheehy Honda on June 1, 2017. I had test drove the vehicle on May 31,2017 and then noticed several deep scratches on the car and said unless this can be fix and it look brand new I won’t purchase it. I was assured they would get the car painted and it would look perfect. I purchased the car and it looked fine, however a few days later I noticed areas that were missed. I was told to bring the car back on a “sunny day”. I took the car back on June 6, 2017 and the paint guy said I’ll take care of it. I picked it up in an hour and it looked horrible. He threw touch up paint on it that my toddler could’ve done, then I noticed the areas that were previously done had paint coming off. A professional paint job doesn’t come off in 6 days…..this is unacceptable.
I contacted the General Manager Sinat Mohabat and he said I’ll pay $200 towards the repairs. You can’t get body work for $200, so he said ok $300. I said no, I got a quick quote for at least $560. Finally he said I will reimburse you for the $560 once it’s paid. Why should I have to pay this money upfront to another shop for work that your dealer screwed up? I’ve already spent over $40k at your dealership, not to mention the 3 other cars I purchased from your dealership!! This is horrible customer service and unacceptable for a consumer!!!
Now that I filed a BBB report and said I’ll agree to the $560 upfront once I provide a written estimate. Now he’s refusing to pay and say I’ll have to take anything touch-up paint job! Never will my car touch down at that dealership again. Why would I let you all screw it up again and add more damage? This general manager needs to do the right thing and pay me for my repairs immediately.
