SetSchedule Reviews

  • Oct 17, 2023

I signed up for SetSchedule in July 2022 with the promise of 100 leads I shoose for $1500 + a year. Well, EVERY lead I took, had mostly bad numbers aka not in service or not the person under that name, OR they had just closed on a home or NEVER was looking to buy a home and wanted a 1000 a month rental.

Complete scam, so I was like whatever and figured lesson learned. Well not realizing (MY mistake) I signed a auto-renewal contract, and when I tried to cancel the day before the auto-renewal, I got a sorry you had to do it in writing 30 days before.. So I went to my back for fraud, and they fought it so they got ANOTHER 1500+ from me for absolutly shitty leads. Example took 4 leads last 7 days, 1 wrong number, 3 Not in service numbers, and ALL the emails bounced.... This is the story of this company.

After doing some research (stupid me not doing it before), I have found 100's of Real Estate agents that have had the exact same experiance. AND to top it off, they have random people call/text you 3 to 5 x a week wanting to "chat" with you about their amazing service.. They are an absolute dumpster fire of a company. DON'T EVER SIGN up with them. NO one I talk to has closed a lead. Most have had the exact experiance I have had. Of course their "trade" in a bad lead, is total BS, when you let them know about a lead giving a Not in Service number you NEVER hear from them, because they are too busy trying to scam more agents in to buying this service.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEM. I would give them -1,000,000 stars on service, lead quality, and support. They are great sales people (scam artist), and that is where it all goes to s***, literally.

RUN, RUN, RUN, and tell ALL your REALTOR friends, RUN, RUN, RUN, do not look back.

So sorry we Google searched "SetSchedule Scam"! Unable to log in either by desktop or app, emails received with broken links finally sent me to realizing we were scammed.

  • Aug 26, 2022

Sent 2 emails and called them stating I wanted to cancel, they still billed me over $1700 for another years service despite this. Then said i didnt cancel in time to get a refund!!! (When all of my messages were in the contractual time to cancel.)

Not to mention, Not a single good lead the first year with them. A 100% scam, Do Not Do business with these people.

I signed with this lead generation service to get more and better leads than I was getting. I was promised unlimited leads per month and come to find out that they will only give you 30 crap leads Bad #'s, bad emails, leads that say they purchased months ago and how did I get their information.

After my initial 100 allotments (leads) I did not receive a lead for two weeks and when I called my Groth consultant he told me that he would have to send it higher. When I finally received a call back it was the same thing I am going to send it higher. I got a call back from higher I guess this was the top of the chain that we deal with customers I asked for a refund since I was not getting what I paid for she said that that was not possible.

I asked to speak to her supervisor and I was told that she could not do that and that she was the only one I could talk to. I asked again and was flat-out denied another supervisor. I went to the connections and sent messages to the names that had bigger titles next to them and they said that they could not help and that was after some time to get them to respond to the initial message.

I say all this to say never ever ever ever do business with them I learned the hard way, you don't have to. Just read all the other complaints and they all seem to be accurate because I went through the same thing.

The following three breaches of California Dept' of Real Estate Rules, Regulations include misrepresentation of facts, using a 'Designated Realtor' who isn't even licensed, and false advertising.

"Junior" is the salesperson who took my money, promising me all sorts of expectations. The service is an intrusion on one's time 24/7 whereby an email is sent for each lead OR one has to stare at the screen all day long while the map using an 'algorthm"displays new leads added to the database throughought the day.

Either way, 99% of the 'leads' turned out to be NON humans, disconnected, NO replies, etc. Dead end leads are what they are selling, wrapped in a bogus website.

Their contract requires mediation & arbitraion, so one cannot sue them in small claims court. When I emailed over twice requesting arbitraition, NO RESPONSE! No phone calls ever returned. Everyone in this company knows the "company" distributes bogus leads, so they are all guilty. They didn't even supply me with a copy of the 'contract." Breach #2.

I want the Dep't of Real Estate to take away the licenses of all who work at SetSchdule.

They commit fraud on a daily basis = license revocation! and I want them to be fined!

I was told by the sale representative, before I purchased the bogus service, that the designated broker of record was a Roy Dekel, but he is not licensed; his wife is: Shayna Dekel lic #01939153:

This misrepresentation is the next breach of Dep't of Real Estate Rules & Regulations.

FALSE ADVETSING. The broker's representative sold me a service and lied about ONE of their sources of data during the sales call, that being realtor.com. Realtor.com emailed me a letter stating they have NOTHING to do with SetSchedule, including sharing data, etc. Contact me to obtain a copy of this letter.

The above three breaches of California Dept' of Real Estate Rules, Regulations include misrepresentation of facts, using a 'Designated Realtor' who isn't even licensed, and false advertising.

To give this company 1 star is not fair - I want to give it negative stars, like -5 stars.

I signed up with Set Schedule about a year ago. Within the first few weeks I was very unsatisfied with the leads they had promised me. I reached out to them to express my frustration, because the leads were NOT verified as they said they would be and in every case were old leads from other online lead generation companies.

Based on the constant disappointment at the bogus leads I quit using their system. Then I got a notice from my credit card provider that they had charged my credit card for another year at $1098. I called them immediately and said I no longer wanted any association with them and they told me that was too bad, I was on the hook with them for another year. I challenged the charges with my bank and it is in dispute right now. I spoke with two execs at the company, Alan Perez and Dhaman Gill.

The bottom line is that they told me I was stuck with them for another year. I tried to resolve the issue by offering to pay for one month of their charges, but was told, "NO" that I could go on a monthly program in one year. This is a compete Rip Off. They did NOT provide me with real and viable leads and I should not be charged for a service that has not, in anyway lived up to what it purported to be. Do not be taken in by their false promises. They count on re-charging your credit card as a way to make money, because they cannot do it in an ethical manner. Most legitimate companies would not take this sort of egregious approach. BEWARE!!

SetSchedule Real Estate lead generation service

Is a major Waste of time & Money! April 3rd 2019 I received my 1st "Prospect Lead"! It should have been April 1st!

I paid $1,220.00 to join them as a "Silver-Bronze-Platinum" Level Realtor. (I can't recall the metal) I was told I would get continual "LEADS" in a 25 mile radius from where I select a point on my city map. Houston TX (More than anyone can deal with). They told me I would be given up to 30 Free leads at a time. I was told if they were not satisfactory or verifiable, they would replace them. My backend cost would be a 20% fee at closing. They would credit me back $200/ closing in order to reclaim my Up-Front Fee!

Well I worked the leads I received by 1st researching prospect supplied address of interest prior to calling the phone number supplied. My research turned up properties that had not been on the market for months or years past. Some maybe 10% that were currently active. I would then attempt to call....

Very few calls were answered. Maybe a sign of the times. (No one wants to take a call from unknown callers) So I would send some market info to the e-mail address supplied, with my reason for the message based on the SetSchedule contact request. Of course, I sent details of my 25 year experience with RE/MAX and many times experience in the community the property listed in the request was in.

I also sent a “TEXT”, since most numbers were Cell phones. Informing Who I was and why I called. My process was to wait a day or two and repeat with call text and resend the e-mail. I would wait a week and then try again with a call and changed my e-mail & text to a “No one really loves a Realtor except their wife, and sometimes they don’t! But if I may be of assistance please call.

90 Days of this and over 100 attempts. Not 1 face to face meeting. The 10% I did get on the phone told me,

“No I’m not interested I was just looking on-line”.

“I am a Realtor looking for a client”.

“That must have been a while ago”.

“Why are you bothering me”.

“I wanted to get info for a property Tax dispute”.

1 prospect was someone looking to get a section “8”, Lease to Purchase! If you’re a Realtor, you will get that one!

Not 1 response of over 100 said.....

“Oh yes I am considering a purchase or a sell”!

After I utilized the 30 free leads, SetSchedule started charging $7 to $30 for “High Rated Leads”. They were no better than the others…. If you are considering this service contact me in Houston TX. Google will find me.

I question if the “Good Reviews”, for this service are real Realtors or hired reviews?

After a good sales pitch I fell for SetSchedule.com appointment/lead generation program for Realtors. I paid $1700 for a promise of 12 scheduled appointments with serious home sellers over the next 6 months (now they say it is a year, but that isn't what it says in the agreement).

As part of the program I would also receive leads of those not ready to make an appointment yet, but expressed interest in selling within a 15 mile radius of my desired location. This second part is what convinced me to give them a try. Unfortunately (9 months later now) I have never received an appointment and have only received a handful of leads that were not in Milwaukee's inner city. Of those 8 leads I accepted I was only ever able to reach one, who in the end decided not to sell.

SetSchedule also has lists of other potential sellers that you can download by zip code. I downloaded all the 28 names they offered in 53132 only to find that all but 2 had already sold over the previous 12 months.

Needless to say this is a scam. I have tried calling to get a refund, but they claim to not give refunds and besides my 12 months isn't up yet (it says 6 in the agreement). They say they will increase advertising in my area to deliver their commitment, but I haven't heard anything from them since my complaints (3 months now). Now they won't even return my phone calls.

Realtors. Stay away!! This is a SCAM!

Where do i even begin. I am a licensed real estate agent and signed a 6-month contract with setschedule, which ended on august 21st. I was promised/contracted for 10 seller appointments and received 4. One was an 80+ year old lady whose nephew was her realtor and who had no idea why i showed up on her doorstep. Another was a 70+ year old who lived in an apartment and had nothing to sell.

I contacted the company to get a refund because they were in breach of contract. Left several messages and it took weeks for someone to get back to me. I finally spoke with a manager and was told that i would not get a refund because there was nothing in the contract that entitled me to a refund, even though they admitted that they only gave me 4 leads. I have filed complaints with the bbb and the attorney general of california, to no avail.

After doing more research, i have found that this company is involved in a pattern of deceptive consumer business practices. I have heard from many real estate agents who have had similar experiences and who have lost money. The bbb has them rated as an a+ even though there are over 60 complaints filed against them. As i dug further into their "5-star" reviews, i realized that the people who reviewed the company are not licensed real estate agents Which is who the service is for) and the same review appears multiple times and written by different people.

I am reaching out because i don't want anyone else to go through the same experience. In this day and age, we rely on online reviews when making consumer decisions. I googled the company when i was first approached by them and found that they received 4+ stars out of 5 on several different review sites. I have learned my lesson the hard way that i can't rely on reviews, but the fact remains that many people make decisions based on reviews. I believe the company is paying for enough fake reviews to give them a 4+ star rating, which is deceptive to anyone considering using their service. In turn, they have stolen money from unsuspecting real estate agents who were simply looking to build their business.

I just got off a webinar with SetSchedule during which I was able to chat with other customer and we all agreed to have had the same experience. They claim to have real estate seller leads for agents and give a guarantee of 10 leads for $1900 but never give out any qualified leads and no refunds.

They do give leads, however, but those people are surprised to be on the list and never agreed to be contacted because NONE of them want to sell! Many don't speak English and some do not own homes.

Even though they took my money over a year ago, I was motivated to write this report after confirming my experience on their own webinar in the chat box with other customers who received the same exact result! Scam 100%

SetSchedule has multiple programs that do not deliver. Currently they have added a phone app with instant seller and buyer leads for a small fee. I signed up last year for 6 seller leads in the Maryland-DC-Virginia area for about $1500 up front and 20% of the commission. They seemed very legit and they guarantee the leads.

Once I signed up, I got a lead every few days. Appointments set for the next day, usually, and they just want you to go. Got tired of going to houses where no one was home, so I started to call, which they discourage, and found out they were either unhappy to talk to me, or didn't have a clue how I got their number and weren't aware of any appointment the next day.

In short, their leads are complete junk. Once they have your money, they really don't care about closing deals, but instead send you to homes for appointments that have no interest in selling in several cases, or there is no one present for the appointment, or the homes are out of your state. Then it is up to you to erase those listing appointments that you paid several hundred for replaced, that is the guarantee. They replace them with other lousy leads that don't fit their own criteria. They say they will provide a phone number and email and many times they don't work.

They seem very legit, and I bet a number of folks working there believe they are working for a legitimate company, but I am sure that they collect very few commissions compared to the agents they sign up and convince their system of data mining works.

It doesn't. Save your money. They mine data and do very little scrubbing and present junk as though it were gold. Better off calling the yellow pages for leads!

And don't even THINK about getting your money back. They will only give you more crap leads and promises that the next leads are good.

I am such a sucker.

They called me and offered to set up 10 appointments with homeowners in Newport Beach & Corona del Mar that were wanting to sell their homes.

I agreed, and paid $1,850 for 10 such apoointments (paid 1/15/18)

In April they had proivded ZERO appointes to date, so I requested a refund; I spoke to "Paula" their supposed manager. She acknowledged that they had provided no appointments for me, and said she would call me back. (she added that my area was high-end and they had little success in high-end areas.

2 weeks later, she had NOT called me, so I called her again. She agreed to a refund, that has never materialized.

I have called her every other week since that time, and she says refund is forthcoming; that their is a process to it, but that it would come!

3 monnths later, NO REFUND still!

This company is a RIP-OFF....DO NOT USE THEM!

I signed a bilateral agreement with SetSchedule on December 28,2017 that stipulated they would provide me with 8 Real Estate leads over the course of 6 months. The cost was $1800. After 6 months, they have provided me with exactly 0 leads. I contacted them and asked for a refund. They stated they don’t give refunds and I must go through the process of arbitration to recover my money that was essentially stolen.

This is a total misrepresented lead generation compant that promises Screend leads and set apoointsment with people having an interest in selling or buying real estste. hey have sent me several leads over the past year and not one of them had any interest at all in Real Estate and knew nothing about an appointment,, I literally begged set schudule people to follow up and get back to me as to how they could possibly intruput that lead as a screend person with an interest in real estate.. After the 4 or 5th fake lead I requested a refund of my $1500 as it was clear to me this was a scam. It was too late to dispute the charge on my MasterCard. They are not returning my money and ignore my requests for follow up on the leads they think were good for me. They just send another waste of time lead, Seriously you could get better leads randomly selecting people from the phone book.. Do not fall for there pitch

  • May 27, 2018

They promised to give me a referrals after I signed in and paid $750.00 since August 2017, they sent appointment with the people that are not aware and not even selling their home and are upset of me showing up on their property and it happen so many times. I have e mail record of my response to the setschedule every time they sent me of worthless leads. All I am asking for them is to give me a refund since they wasted too much of my time to drive to those properties that are not aware of the appointments they have scheduled. Everytime I asked them they call me and promised to give me a good one and it is almost a year now. Now every leads they published the agent will be charge on top of the $750. that has already been paid as supposed to be free leads that they are giving to their clients but as I mentioned not a very good one.

  • May 21, 2018

SetSchedule was supposed to referr 12 confirmed appointments to me for $1,500. They failed to do so. What they did was send fake phone numbers and people who didn't know how we got their phone numbers. Every time I contacted them, they said that they were working on an appointment for me. Few weeks ago, they came up with an APP.

That app apparently sends notifictions to agents when there is a referral. However, once you click on the notification, the notificaiton disappears. I have since contacted them by telephone and email to have my fees refunded. Thus far, noone has contacted me. I am not the only agent complaining about this company's fraudulant misrepresentation. Today, I filed a Complaint with Better Business Bureau and have disputed the charge through my bank.

I contracted with Set Schedule LLC in January 2018. The salesperson promised me 8 listing appointments within 6 months, as well as $500 co-op budget for listing marketing with Set Schedule, and some other "perks" like gold events (whatever that is). I am 2 months into my agreement with them and have not received a single listing appointment, despite completely open availability. Based on my research, there are no other agents anywhere in my metro area that have signed on with them, so the problem is not having a large pool of agents for them to fulfill appointments for.

The problem is they aren't a legitimate lead generation company. I had my doubts, but a couple of weeks ago I was contacted by 2 other agents who had been solicited by Set Schedule and they were wanting to get my feedback on my experience thus far. I was honest with them. One of them told me that she had seen I was a member through a social media post they created. I went to find the social media post, and noticed it had A LOT of likes. I clicked to view the "likes" on that particular post, and it was evident that those likes were bots, not actual people.

I then looked at the list of followers on their Instagram account, and noticed the same thing. I started to get a little concerned. Finally, just over 2 months into the agreement I decided to call them and inquire as to why I had not yet received a single appointment. The representative apologized and promised to move me to her "high priority" list, and to just give them 48 hours, but said that weekends don't count (this was on a Thursday afternoon).

I told her I was not interested in giving them any more time to make good on their promises, and if they had been unable to schedule a single appointment in the first 2 months, it was highly unlikely they would be able to fulfill 8 appointments in a 4 month timeframe. She then said she would have to escalate my request to her manager. Her "manager" called me right back. She basically told me the same thing and said my request for termination would have to be sent to her "team" to review.

I told her to have whoever is in charge call me back instead of wasting my time. I then decided to review the agents highlighted on their website and start contacting them. The feedback I am receiving from these agents has been the same. They all tell the same story I am telling you here - paid $1850 for a membership package. Either no appointments were given, or they were sent an appointment here and there, and the people they arrived to speak to either did not exist or had no knowledge of any appointment. These are not "vetted" leads, as the folks at Set Schedule will lead you to believe. Do yourself a favor and find another way to lead generate. This is not the way. Also, do your fellow realtors a favor and if you hear them inquire about this company, tell them to run.

I joined there Company last July of 2017. I Paid $750 for 3 Leads and they Have NOT sent me one lead in 7 Months. When I call to Complain they give me all kinds of excuses and promises. I keep asking them to Return my $750 and they wont send it back to me. I never could get in touch with the person who signed me up. I think its only right that they give me my money back. its a complete Scam & Ripoff as far as I'm concerned.
