I joined this company for help on the 9th of March my mother paid them the $85, we were ecstatic because I lost my Medicaid due to me being taken off of disability we aren't able to afford my medications any more but we are being helped with most of them through charity or the manufactures are giving it to me for free which is a huge help for us anyway the Cellcept is the ONLY medication that is giving us the biggest worry since it is close to $5000 without insurance something we cannot afford most companies will not help out because the medication is too expensive and they do not have the funds which is understanding yet disappointing anyway my mother and I did a little research we were desperate

my lupus has come back 10 times worse and I am getting even more sick than I was the nephrologist that monitors my Lupus with Nephritis stated that it was adamant that I get back on my cellcept or else my kidneys would fail and I'd more than likely have to be put on dialysis we do aren't rich so we do not have the funds to pay for my dialysis either.

So of course we called them it took a while for them to respond but when they finally did Delecia (one of their advocates or whomever) they seemed as if they truly cared and really wanted to help us with our financial issues they mentioned that we'd pay $85, $35 for the "medicines" and $50 for the processing of our paperwork we were ecstatic thrilled we felt like

finally someone who cares and wants to actually help me, well they got their $85 but it took them more than 3 to 5 weeks to send me my medications in fact we got them on the day they were to take another $35 out of my mother's account 27th of May although the bottle says they were disputed on the 24th of May 2016 there was some problem apparently with the paperwork apparently the doctor didn't sign something I think which I was confused by since they had everything he needed to sign highlighted in pink and I am pretty sure I remembered him signing it and I am the one who sent it off in the envelope they sent along with their member kit, also what confused me is that when i went online to figure out what

was taking so long with the distribution of my medications it stated that they got paperwork and processed everything on the 7th of April but never once did they call or email me to state that there were some issues with the paperwork and never once did my doctor call me into his office to refill out the paperwork since it would require my signature in order for them to speak with my doctor so that they can assist me in getting my medications. Since I joined them we've had nothing but issues with them, it took them forever in day to actually give me the cellcept (the only reason why I even got my cellcept is because I kept messaging them and calling them as well as sending them emails to which they never once

responded to UNTIL I said I was withdrawing my membership and wanted a refund or else I'd pursue legal actions against them) and when they did they got the prescription completely wrong the advocate or agent I spoke with either from Genentech or their company I do not quite remember but I called them back after actually contacting SCBN on the 16th or 17th of August in regards to my medications and prescription being incorrect on the 26th or the 27th of August I think it was Genentech anyway I think her name was either Nicole or Noelle I don't recall but she stated that a completely different doctor was sending and writing prescriptions to them which I do not like because the only doctor that should be

sending them any kind of prescription is the actual doctor that signed the paperwork to give them consent to send me my medications who she stated name was either Dr. Cyrus or Dr. Silas we do not know a "Dr. Silas" the only doctors we know are my primary doctor,my nephrologist, mental health doctors, and my neurologist, they stated my primary care doctor was no longer my doctor that he no longer worked at the clinic I attend, we were stunned seeing as I had just left an appointment with him weeks before and he had not mentioned once that he was leaving and I'd have a new doctor nor did they ever send out a letter informing me of him leaving and the new doctor that would be handling his patients

therefore we were not aware of him no longer being a doctor let alone no longer being mine also I checked their website and there is no Dr. Silas that works for MOM (Medical Outreach of Montgomery) so who is this doctor they mentioned and why is he sending "prescriptions" that were not authorized of him to send? That was the last straw, forging documents is not something I play around with because this is my health and life and I do not appreciate what they are doing. I am worrying and stressing myself even more over my health not to mention my seizures are coming back which I suspect is due to my lupus not being stable because Lupus can in fact trigger or cause seizures, I was lied to more than once by

these people the first time they got the prescription incorrect when we basically told them my dosage as well as how many capsules I take a day they even read it back to us I also asked if I'd have to fax or send them a prescription with the paperwork they assured me they'd handle everything and I wouldn't have to worry but somehow when I finally got two bottles of cellcept the instructions did not match what was told to them so of course we asked them why is it stating I take only one twice a day when I take more than one capsule of cellcept twice a day, my nephrologist Dr. Sanders even asked if I take the amount he prescribes me and tells me to take he stated do not take one capsule and he also wanted

to know the bottle was saying take one capsule twice a day instead of what I originally take and what is on file on my medication list, I take 8 pills in all 4 in the morning, 4 at night. I do not think for once that they spoke with my primary care doctor since just like my nephrologist he only comes into his office on Tuesdays and we've never actually given them other contact information on him the only contact information we've ever had was the contact information we received from MOM or their website. I stated that since they seemed to be having issues with MOM is it possible that they can switch it to my nephrologist but not before telling them that I told them from day one that the person over my lupus and

who prescribes my lupus medications was the nephrologist that he was in a completely different city than me and it would be a while before I could actually see him since my appointment with him wasn't until either May or June and he was gonna just go ahead and let my primary care doctor sign off since it was adamant that I get these medications in my system because my lupus is getting worse, they told me it could not be done that I would have to write a letter and mail it to them as well as speak with MOM in order for that to happen but they would go ahead and send the new prescription authorization paperwork to MOM so that I could get my medications once they sent in the correct prescription they were

gonna FAX it to him instead of send it by mail of course they were gonna FAX it they didn't exactly have their address since I never once gave it to them and I don't recall them ever asking for it on the paperwork either just for his medical idenfication number and whatnot. I was frustrated but because I assumed they cared since she assured me she was faxing over the paperwork while we were on the phone assumed they were actually doing their job I told them thank you and hung up of course I was gonna talk to my primary care doctor to see if he was actually sending them these "prescriptions" but he is so busy that I cannot exactly get chance to speak with him, it turns out I was wrong! I was away

for a while with my sister because I had to see my nephrologist at the Kirklin Clinic at UAB in Birmingham, AL and they could not contact me since my name is on the account and my tablet runs off WIFI which btw they know this because I shared this with "Delecia" my "advocate" hence why she was talking to me off my mother's phone when I first joined, so of course I contacted them once I got home from Birmingham that was on the 27th of September a guy name "Howard" answered he looked up everything because I was confused as to why my medications had not been shipped to me yet (by then I was planning on cancelling my membership with them I wanted to see what their excuse was since that's all they

seem to have been giving me since I joined them, I am pretty sure I sent them a message through their online support stating that they either give me what I pay for or stop going into my mother's account that was either on the 26th or the 28th of August they never did get back with me neither through email or a phone call which I asked them so I contacted them again on September 11th I also think I contacted them online on the 17th of August or perhaps that was the 17th of April I don't quite remember I can actually check my email and it basically tells me when I asked them a question and the date the question was asked. I asked what was going on with my medications I told them to not worry about switching

over the doctor because for some odd reason it's taking them way too long to send me my medications and I desperately need them I am sick and without my CellCept I am only going to get sicker I asked them to just send me what they promised me in August and then I'd change my doctor over when I saw him on the 13th of September since he is in another city than the one I am, I never got a response from them I had been waiting since the 7th of August, I asked them to call me to which they did not they waited UNTIL the 15th of September when I was away to finally decide to call me which I find to be extremely rude and unprofessional on their part in regards to my account) since we did speak with

them on the 27th or 28th of July and again on the 1st of August asking when were they planning to send out my medications the lady stated the 7th of each month is when my medications will be refilled we had to have them redo the choice of pay since for some reason they keep putting down VISA when it's an American Express Bluebird card my mother had to sign it all over again letting them have permission to pull the money still nothing at all August has come and gone it is now October. long story short it's been actually 4 months since I have received any form of medication from them and I am furious I had to contact them in order for them to actually give us any answers they of course stated

that they were waiting for us to give them the new doctor's information but we were given the impression that they had faxed off the information for them to actually have MOM contact my daughter's nephrologist so that he could send off the form to correct the prescription they claim my doctor sent to them since it was making us confused I was wrong the guy who answered us on the 27th of September Howard asked me who was the prescriber of my medication I knew then that I was gonna end my services with them because we had stated more than once as well as given them Dr. Paul Sander's information we actually gave them that the day we joined them which lets me know they did not put him down as one of

my doctors along with Dr. Woernle so if they did not know who my prescribing doctor was then who in the hell was writing prescriptions and sending them off in my behalf? Another thing that frustrated me and made me angry is that as I mentioned before they stated I'd have to speak with MOM myself in order to have my primary care doctor removed as the doctor who originally prescribes the cellcept but when we spoke with Howard he updated it without any problems, I do not like being lied to and I also do not like that they keep taking my mother's money and not sending off my medication. Also every time I ask them where's my medications through their support system online since that seems to be the only

way they will actually respond instead of them responding for some reason GENENTECH always calls or they call me from a completely different number than what is plastered all over their membership kit or what they leave in their messaeges but they are the ones who claim that they are helping uninsured or low income people get medications I am aware that genentech is the manufactures of the medications but still the point is if I message you all wanting to know what's going on do not refer me to genentech my issue is with you all not with them, I have never had to deal with this when it came to me needing help to get other medications this is ridiculous. I am pretty upset as you can probably tell instead of

helping us they are taking advantage of us is what I feel. I want my mother's money back from the months I did not receive anything medical wise from them which is June, July, August, & September and I want them out of our lives. I contacted Genentech myself they will help me get my medications free of charge and they also told me they would never ask for a fee, they either can help you get the medications completely free or you will be in their copay card program for people with private or commercial insurance but that's ONLY if you are insured is when you will get the copay card program. Stay away from these people they have caused me nothing but headaches and heart ache, I have only become

sicker waiting on medications that it looks like I will never ever see, I have cancelled my membership with them and I pray and hope they don't go into my mother's account again or maybe she's just gonna have to close out her account and get an entirely new bluebird card and account.

Applied for precription drug assistance because cost of insulins has skyrocketed. I have insurance with BCBS in Te. SCBN told me they could help beause after one script refill in Jan. I am in the 'donut hole' SCBN portrays to get insulin direct from mfr and ship it to you for free...... except for their $50 initial fee and then a $50/ per month fee thereafter. Well they got $100 of my $$ then called to tell me they could NOT help me beacuse Novo-Nordisk (insulin mfr) says I have insurance. SCBN says they can't hel me and I'm out $100. No refunds after writing them a letter asking for same. Recent Communication below.

Thank you for the courteous reply. I told SCBN that I was insured by BCBS in the beginning, it was part of the application. Why then did you allow my application, in the first place? This seems like another attempt to make a profit from those least available to afford it. I think the addage "if it appears to good to be true, it probably isn't" applies here. You can be sure I will NOT be recommending SCBN to anyone. And I am out $100 for the experience !

Please Cancel my 'membership' in your organization.

I intend to covey my concerns to the appropriate regulatory authority.

I am a 60 year old woman with Osteo Arthritis. I have had both knees, both hips and soon both shoulders will be replaced. I am in chronic pain and I have type II diabetes, high blood pressure, Graves disease and heart problems. I have five children none grand children and my husband is 67 years old with his own health problems I am in the donut hole portion of Medicare meaning that our medications costs almost a twice as much. My husband and I are on a fixed income. We really need every penny that we can get so we thought that this company was going to be our great salvation in

regards to our medicines. However they are a big RIPOFF. I agree with others about being tricked into joining this service. They don't tell you in advance that if you do not return all of the membership kit that contains all of your personal information, bank accounts, job information, doctors, medicines and etc., you cannot be reimbursed for the money taken from your bank account even though no products or medications were ever received. Why should they be worried about their information when most of the information is the customers. THIS IS A BIG RIP-OFF. I am surprised that some companies that

call themselves wanting to help us end up hurting us more than what the other companies that we started out with did. This company is a sham. I paid 135.00 the first month that I joined and was told I would not get any medicine for 8 weeks and I still have to pay for my medicine out of pocket. Meanwhile another payment has come out of my bank account and no medicine. I canceled my membership and wanted my money back because I received no medicine and was told that if I did not send the membership kit back I could not get a refund. No one mentioned this before about the kit.

But a rude customer service representative said that why would I expect a refund because if they don’t get the paperwork back this could result in someone else using the paperwork to get some discounts themselves and this would hurt the company. First of all this is a stupid remark I am not worried about hurting the company I am concerned about being financially hurt myself. They are supposed to be a company that can accomplish things others can’t and besides why would I want to send the kit back when it has all of my personnel information in it. They should be worried about what

could hurt me. So it is more of a risk of my part to let the company have the kit back. Meanwhile I have been ripped off for over $200 dollars and no one seems to care about helping me to get my money back. They did not even verify if it was ok to take money from my account for the second month when I have not received any medications for the first month. I am on a fixed income and I feel like I have been used and this is one of the biggest scams ever for the elderly and disabled. We need to let the country know who is trying to take advantage of us and we need to stick together. SBCN is one of these companies that we need to be cautious about and others should be warned.

This so-called service (SCBN) should be shut down. It is basically a scam operation. We all know Rule No. 1 which is not to give your SS number. To anybody listening, RULE NO. 2--- Don’t give your checking account No. to a telephone salesman.

This organization promises to get you very expensive medicines at ridiculously low prices (which should be a tip off from the git-go).

A “come-on” ad on the internet piqued my wife’s interest and she gave our telephone number. A sales person calls back shortly with explanations of how easy and cheap it would be to get these very expensive medicines for me. They promised to show how these two meds could be obtained for $115 per month after an initial membership fee of $50. They wouldn’t accept a check or credit card for the membership but would of course accept an ACH transaction. Minutes after getting the checking account number from my wife they withdrew $165. I was unaware of this negotiation until later and learned sketchy details from my wife verbally.

After a couple of e mails from me to SCBN for further information, I asked for the funds to be returned to the checking account.

Here is the highly unethical parts.

My wife made the agreement, but she does not have authorization to act as my medical attorney. Nor did they ask.

The meds were for me, not my wife; and they understood this very well.

In a few days the “application” arrived, which was questionnaires and medical history amounting to 21 pages. Forms for the doctors to fill out, instructions, histories, etc. and INCLUDING A FORM FOR ME TO AUTHORIZE MY BANK TO CONTINUE THE MONTHLY WITHDRAWAL. Strange that they needed the form now, after already making such withdrawal without said form.

Also as part of the applicaton process they required a copy of my SS card. At the same time they claim not to be medical providers, but rather a medical "advocacy" organization. As such, they would have no need for my SS card. (Can you guess where my SS number may end up?)

I demanded they return the money. They responded that they would first need to receive back the entire packet of application materials. This is their scam. The process is so onerous to complete and that the doctors will follow thru on your behalf is highly questionable that they are practically assured that the victim cannot complete the request.

Here is the clincher. I reported this scam to the BBB of Austin Texas. They simply closed the complaint when the SCBN responded with the request for return of the Application. "Case closed".

Remember folks, not only do you NOT give your SS number over the phone, you should never give your bank account number either.

And, the banks don’t care that you’ve been fleeced. It’s not their money.
