I look up one thing then i cancelled membership on May 16 they withdrwn $39.95 from my acct. I called them and they told me that they where going to refund the money.

Later that afternoon I got an email state sorry be we are not going to refund you.

Upon enrollment to our site, you are sent a welcome email that includes membership details that lists the name of the billing processing company that accepts your payment. If you cannot find this email in your inbox, try checking your email account's spam folder.

We currently cannot offer you a refund since it’s clearly mentioned in the terms and conditions upon registration that when signing up with a Gift/Prepaid/Payroll card you are joining the site for a monthly membership.

We confirm that we set your account to cancel as requested but you have still full access to your account until the subscription runs out.

I signed up for a one day trial for one dollar i cancelled less than 12 hrs later they took out $29.95 out of my paypal account after i called and cancelled the account because there was nothing in it that i could not find out on line myself i called their number and they said i signed for a monthly account and would not refund my money.

the man i talked to had a accent that was hard to understand. they are a lying bunch of people just out to rip people off.

Signed up for the dollar for for one day of reporting. Immediately sent them a message in messenger asking them how to cancel as report was not accurate at all. Was sent a reply the following day and when I checked my account an additional 39.50 had been taken out of my account. Called them and was told pretty much sorry for your luck.

I played $1 for a trial and they aren't what they said they were and had inaccurate information. And now I can't cancel my account. I called the number provided and I was on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever assisted me.

Yes I got scammed as well with there dollar bull crap,then immediatley got hit with $37.95 bill I called and they said oh you used it more than once and got an attitude when I told them they better unsubscribe me. Because what they done was fraudulent. Then to boot I done a check on someone close to me and they sent an email to them telling them someone was trying to background check them..... you sorry two faced hypocrites!!! You screw me outta my money then tell people someone is checking on them. Y'all should get a federal charge for running this scam on hard working people who reach out for help and pay good money.the evidence they got was absolutely nothing..SEEK VERIFY YOU SUCK ASS, ???? I hope y'all go to prison for this crap scam!!!!

I tried their service for $1 within an hour I decided to cancel as what they advertised was not what they offered. They refuse to cancel my account and charged me for a months subscription. I have contacted them many times and continue to get the same automated message about not refunding me, I responded saying I didn't ask for a refund I asked to be cancelled and instead of cancelling my subscription you charged me for a month and still won't cancel the account. Seekverify is a rip off, they fasley advertise services, when you try it for $1 You get basic service.

I checked a phone number thru there website. States pay a dollar and get info. I paid my dollar and emailed minutes later to cancel any $39.95 subscription as there is no where on the websie to do that, which I assume, is the way they steal your money. I emailed right away and canceled it. I assumed it would be fine, as this is what the company said to do. Low and behold, nope that is not correct. It doesn’t state this on their scammy site but apparently they want you to include the credit card number. Um nope not happening. So they charged me... awesome. Course no where on there site does it state this. This is what I was told by Jon Rentaburn( I’m sure that’s not his real name). He’s supposedly the supervisor. If you need to call the customer service manager (I asked for the info) it’s a Chris Matthews supposedly. That’s who I’m calling tomorrow. I’m trying to find out who owns it as I will take it that far to get the refund. I will not be scammed.

I authorized 1.00 to find out who was snooping around in my credit and criminal record. They withdrew 39.00 out of my PayPal account. I've reported this to PayPal, and emailed Seek verify to return my money. I wonder if there is a class action lawsuit against them, if not one should be started. I just want my 38.00 returned!!

Upon seeing a trial offer for 1$....i subscribed for their service whereas they charged me 39.95. i requested a refund and was refused. the information they offered was basic and found for free elsewhere. i then requested a member of their management team to contact me and was ignored.

They charged my bank $73 and refuse to give me a refund.I did the $1 trail and cancelled it the same day.After that they kept charging me and over charging and I went through a run around and only got an email saying that we cannot refund you because it costs money when people search up info

I received an email notification from PayPal that a charge went against my Account. I have never heard of this organization and I certaintly did not authorize any payment.

Today i checked my balance on my card i noticed it wasn't what it was suppose to be called my card holder an they told me a website took 39 dollars off my card i never use my card over the internet for no reason i let my daughter play on my phone that is the only way i could think of my card being used all my information is saved she is only 7 so if she did do it she didn't no what she was doin just clickn ok or something i really need my money for something that im not using or no nothing about

I opened an account on September 3, 2017 and paid one dollar for services for 24hrs. It was stated that the account has to be canceled in 7 days or you will be charged 39.95. I canceled the account the sameday I opened it. I submitted an email request for cancellation because that is how it is instructed to do on the website. I received an email from the company, stating they received my request and the account would be canceled and if there were any additional questions they would contact me. On October 3 my card was chardged 39.95.

I contacted the company and spoke with a very unpleasant customer service worker and I was told I did not cancel the account. I asked to be transferred to the supervisor and I was. I spoke with the supervisor and he stated the same thing although I told them that I have an email from the company stating I sent this request. Once I became upset, the supervisor starting telling me he would submit a request for a refund.

After that I forwarded the email to me that was previously sent to me from that company and I was told it would take 24hrs. I recieved an email today stating they will not be able to give me a refund along with the terms and conditions. I replied to the email that I want my money back because I did what i was instructed to do to cancel this account. I also called and spoke with the same unpleasant man I spoke with on yesterday and he told me to reply to the email with all of the same information I sent on yesterday. I am now awaiting a response.

I clicked on a link to give me a report of the numbers that are being called from a particular number. The advertised price was $1 for a 7-day membership. The resulting report was pretty basic and did not provide any new information. Throughout the report there were options to upgrade and to get additional data, but based on the categories for the additional data, that is not something I would be interested in.

I went under profile and tried to cancel my account; but, that functionality was missing, it listed "coming soon." So I went into my e-mail and responded to the Welcome e-mail and asked them to cancel my membership.

To my surprise, the next day I checked my credit card, and found the following charges:

ZOMUG.COM - $1.00

ZOMUG.COM - $5.95

ZOMUG.COM - $19.95

So, I called the number associated with these charges and question them. The representative claimed that because I did not cancel in 24 hours I was being billed for the membership! First, I was not aware that membership was for 24 hrs. Plus, I asked about the e-mail I sent, the representative said he couldn't do anything about it and that he will escalate it and the billing department would get back to me in 24-48 hours.

I logged back into my credit card account to get details on how to dispute this charge and lo and behold, another charge hit for:

ZOMUG.COM - $39.95

I called back, and was told, this was not a hard post, and as previously stated, the billing department would get back to me in 24-48 hours.

The billing department did get back to me and stated that they will not be refunding my money, because I used their service and they incurred costs, and that I should have been aware of what their terms were.

My position, you knew what your costs were before you offered the service for $1. They also claimed that I downloaded a report and paid for an upgrade. All LIES. I have my credit card bill to show that I went elsewhere and used a service that provided me with more information.

Here is their Refund Policy:

In the event that you are unsatisfied with your subscription, or feel the purchase was made errorneously or fraudulently, contact customer support for immediate assistance.

Customer Service is telling me they cannot do anything I need to work with billing. What RIP OFF? Stay away from these theives. I had to put a hold on by credit card to prevent them from charging me any further!!!

Total scam, they took $39.95 from my debit account after I cancelled my subscription. Which I had cancelled less than 24 hours before hand. Then lied to me on the phone , they don't even have a real supervisor or anyone to talk to. They are from India but have American names like Brandon, Thomas, and Justin to name a few! Unprofessional and they will steal your money and don't care about you, the customer.
