Ordered dishwasher from Sears online. Online said delivery would be on a Saturday by a sears delivery team. Called Friday they said i should receive call Sat morning about time for delivery Called Saturday and was told it was delivered to a third party for installation, which was closed for the weekend. I asked to speak to a superior but they didn't have one to help because sears call center is in the Philippians. What i was told i was ordering from my local store which is what i was told online. So i now am told delivery is on Tuesday. Should i mention already took day off work for the first delivery.

Now get a call on Monday from installation place i need to pay 48 more dollars for them to come out because they need to file with county that dishwasher was hooked up correctly. WHAT ??? this is not a new house just switching dishwasher i was told they would not come out until i paid extra and even if i do pay they now cant come out until Thursday. Not sure what happened to sears aid delivery would be on a Saturday by a sears delivery team.

SEARS appliance warranty - what a FARCE! We have purchased MANY appliances from Sears - we have never had any REAL issues until now! We purchased a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (model 66514573N611) really cool and quiet - with a third rack (love that!) However - it has been Broken down with an F2E2 error FOUR times since February (it is now November). Each time - it takes two weeks to get a technician out - two weeks to order parts and several more days to get the technician out to fix ...it. Each time - the service cost is over $400 (we are under manufacture warranty so we don't pay that) but we only paid $600 for this machine - so it is no wonder that Sears is going out of business!

Their store salesperson and manager said their lemon policy says it should be replaced after 3 failures - however working with their warranty representatives is a NIGHTMARE! They insist that it must be 8 failures in a year! UGGG!

We have tried going into the store to speak with a manager - they just gave us the same phone number to call that we have been arguing with for months.

I am so upset I am ready to pull it out and leave it in their store! With Thanksgiving next week - I don't want to hand wash all the dishes with company coming! I don't usually rant - but I am FURIOUS!!! False advertising at its best!

I have always thought of Sears as my place to go for major appliances. When I think of the Kenmore name I think of a high quality product. When our Kenmore hot water heater went out the first place I thought of replacing it was Sears. Our closest Sears is located at 3450 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas,Tx. I like to have choices and see what I buy before I buy it. I was surprise to see Sears had ONLY 1 hot water heater ON DISPLAY in an open area, but the size didn't fit my needs. I went searching for a clerk. It was hard determining who was a clerk and who was a customer. Why can't the store identify their clerks? I finally found Sergio who was one of two clerks on the entire floor. He was polite but didn't have a clue about selling hot water heaters. He went to the Web to show me Sears stock ,not my ideal way to buy an item. I selected the Kenmore 57941 40 gal. 9-Year Tall Natural Gas Water Heater for $477. Since I was concern the size of the heater may not fit the closet I asked Sergio whether there was any restocking fee if the heater did not fit. He said the heater could be returned with NO EXTRA FEES WHICH WAS A LIE per the sales envelope I received. Sergio took about 10 minutes registering me for Sears reward program which I DIDN'T ASK FOR. Completing the purchase at the register took at least another 10 minutes as he reentered the same info in the register again and again. A little more training would have completed the sale sooner. When I returned home I reviewed the sales slip #012272950235/#012272950236 dated 10 Aug 2016 and noticed that Sergio had charged me $521.99 rather than the $477 price he showed me. I called the store and got connected to the auto answer service, selected the department but the phone just rang and rang. No one answered the phone. After about the sixth time of hanging up and recalling I finally got to talk to Sergio and explain the error in the price I was charged. Sergio said if I would COME IN AGAIN he would adjust the price. I came in and received the price difference from a different clerk and it took all of two minutes. This clerk was trained.

I completed the Sears survey at shopsearsfeedback.com rated my experience as poor and asked to be contacted at . As to date NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. Does Sears really cared about the customer?

Our experience with the installer (Concept Facility Services)was not much better. We asked that they include with the installation a WAGS valve since the previous prevented water damage. She said she would ask the installer. The installer gave us a 2-4Pm date on 15 Aug but later called that it would at 4-6pm. Rather having come so late we asked the to come the next day (16 Aug). They setup a new time/date on 16 Aug after 1Pm. At 1Pm they were not here so we called and the clerk said 2Pm. 2Pm they were not here but said it would be 3pm since he had to pickup the WAGS valve. 3 pm they were not here but finally arrived at about 4Pm. The installer team was friendly. After reviewing the present situation he said a FEW EXTRA CHARGES were required. Those included replacing my 3 Flex Supply lines with 3 of his Flex Supply lines (@ $39.99 each) even though my supply lines had never been a problem, were an inside connection and had never been exposed to the elements. His response was it was his company policy to always replace them REGARDLESS THE CONDITION . In addition he said code required a sediment trap for $99 which I agreed to. Likewise the WAGS valve I requested he was pricing at $490 which I question as being EXTREMELY HIGH since a current price on the Web runs about $150-160. He proceeded to install the heater until he ran into another problem. He told me the heater COULD NOT accept a WAGS valve but AS A SUBSTITUTE he would install a Floodmaster sensor. I heard of Floodmaster it was not as good as the WAGS value since it didn't shut off the water and gas but just the water. I asked if he could give me an adjustment and he said he could only give it to me for the SAME PRICE. Floodmaster units are higher quality and run over $200 so I accepted the alternative. He didn't leave me Floodstop documentation on the how the unit functioned so I accepted what he told me. Later after he left I went to the Web and found HE DIDN'T INSTALL a Floodmaster unit BUT a Floodstop unit. A Floodstop unit is almost 100% plastic construction and sells for about $153. It seems if this is a regular installer Sears uses they could of told me up front a WAGS could not be installed on my new heater. As a result I PAID FOR a WAGS that would stop gas and water flow BUT GOT Floodstop with only 1/2 THE FUNCTIONALITY of the WAGS (just water stoppage). In summary I believe the service I received at the local Sears was subpar and left much to be desired. I believe some of the"EXTRA FEE COSTS" i.e ( WAGS @$490 VS a SUBSTITUTE (Floodstop @$153) and new supply lines) were price extremely high in order to add pad the bill.

It seems things have changed with the Old Sears I use to know.

Sears.com advertises free shipping for orders of $35 or more. On 12/10 i placed an order for 4 items totalling $100.76. On 12/10 i discovered sears.com was trying to debit my account for $20 more then agreed to for "shipping". I called sears.com and they said that because they could not ship all items from same location they wanted to charge "shipping". $7 to ship a $6 item and $12 to ship a $30 item. I immediately cancelled the order and was assured that the order would be cancelled. On 12/11 i received an item from that order and called the number of the distributor as instructed for a return authorization. He said it may take 24 hrs to date i have received no ra. On 12/11 i was asked to sign for another delivery from sears but refused it... On 12/12 i called sears.com and was told that my cancellation was being processed and would take 3-5 days to receive my refund but the order was cancelled.

On 12/14 sears sent me this e-mail:

Thank you for shopping at sears.com!

In regard to your order number 964369315, we received your request regarding cancellation of the item "soldering gun - heat gun - isn". In this regards we contacted our merchant for assistance and they informed that "the item has already shipped. We can issue a refund on the shipping if the customer wishes to keep the item. "

Please advice us so that we can assist you better. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I purchased a warranty on my refrigerator that we bought at Sears for our second home, Almost a year ago, I had a problem with it, and their service guy came out, and send he would have to order parts and that it woul be two weeks, We called another company, and they repaired it the same day. 6 months later, my fridge started not cooling, so we called Sears, and now after 4 appointments, and NO Shows, they claim that they are cancelling my warranty since I didn't let them fix it 6 months prior. They scheduled all 4 appointments, only to have the technician call the an 15 prior to say they won't be coming unless I pay the full repair out of pocket. Getting upset about this, I called after flying there to meet them, to be told by the Sears rep, that my warranty is not cancelled, and they apologized, and said they would set a new appointment. I had to pay a housekeeper to be at the property to wait 4 hours, only to get a call 10 minutes before from the tech to say he was not coming beacuse my warranty was cancelled. I called Sears once again, and they stated that they can't cancel my warranty because I cose to get it fixed elsewhere 6 months prior, and would again reset the appointment for the last date of Dec 6th, 2015. I once again had our housekeeper go to the property and wait 4 hours to a no show, but then the magical phone call... they were going to cancel my warranty again, and after 1 and 1/2 months, I still have no fridge. I called Sears today, and they called me back, and said my warranty was not cancelled, but the company they write them through was going to cancel it, and that there is a possibility that I could get some of my noney back. I told her I thought this was some kind of radio show hoax, and I can't believe all the time, expense, and trouble they put me though, only to still have a broken refrigerator almost 2 months later. Sears Extended Warranty is an absolute joke IF you have to use it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

After buying the most expensive Washing Machine and Dryer from Sears in Palm Desert California and then purchasing the five year additional warranty, the washing machine went out and come to find had many issues that people had reported on line. No parts available however Sears held me hostage for over a month as they assued me they had received the parts from the manufacturer. They replaced the washing machine and would do nothing for the dryer except offer a 10% discount so I could buy another dryer if I wanted it to match. Minimizing the importance of a "matching set" and how trivial it was.

I purchased a matching set, paid an outrageous amount to get 5 year additional warranty for the set - only to find out that the "set" was not insured but "each" items was under a separate warranty.

I asked my 800+ Facebook friends and over 4,300 LinkedIn connections how they felt about a matching set and if my request of getting a matching set was unreasonable or not. NONE thought my request was out of line.

No more Sears and I am doing all I can to encourage everyone I know to buy from Lowe's appliances or anywhere else rather than go thru what I was dealt from Sears. I have been a loyal customer since 1972 and no more!

I ordered a picnic basket with several items included. Sears did not send the coffee mugs listed in the product specifications. At first, Sears chat center workers admitted the error and promised to send the missing items. Sears never did. Now, Sears says that they have nothing to do with the matter, and that I should contact THEIR Chinese supplier. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS. SEARS LIES & STEALS.

Sears screwed me out of replacing my refridgerator which was under warranty.

I recently returned to my home in Florida to a refridgerator covered in mold, infested with bugs, and with a stench that smelled like a dead body. Horrified, I called Sears and they sent a technician to come take a look.

The technician verified that the compressor (the thing that keeps the fridge cold) had broken. So naturally, the food went bad. He then went on to explain that even if the compressor was repaired, the refridgerator would not be safe to use due to the poor condition it was in. He called Sears and told them that the fridge was unrepairable. They told him that due to "protocol" he had to order the parts and do the repair before it could be approved for a replacement.

A week went by and the parts finally came in. (Meanwhile I am using a beach cooler and replacing it with ice each day to keep my food cold.)

A second technician came to repair the fridge and immediately determined that there was no use in repairing the part because the fridge was unrepairable. In order to repair the part, he would be putting his own health and my health at risk. He would have to gut the entire fridge which meant the entire house would then be infested with the bugs and smell of the rotting food.

He called Sears and told them he would not repair it and he contacted the District Manager's office to let them know that the fridge would have to be replaced. He sent pictures to the District Manager's office documenting the severity of the condition, as well. He then collected the parts that had been sent and left. He told me to wait another 24 hours and then to call back to see if the report was approved for a replacement.

I called back again the next day. What do you know! Still- they refused to replace the fridge. They said the reason the fridge was unrepairable was "customer neglect". They completely ignored the fact that the reason the food was moldy was because their product was faulty. I spoke with probably 15 different Sears representatives across all different departments and including several managers- None of them were helpful. They all kept repeating the same thing: "Mold is not covered under your warranty".

It has been 2 weeks since I initially called Sears. I am still eating out of a beach cooler filled with ice. Two Sears technicians came to my home and verified that a replacement is needed. The second technician even told me that it would be uneconomical to repair the fridge (meaning it would cost Sears less to replace it than to repair it.) But Sears still would not budge.

All I have to say is: Sears, you lost a valued customer. We own 3 homes - all of which are furnished with appliances from Sears and insured with Sears. Today I canceled all of my insurance contracts with you. I will no longer purchase appliances, or anything for that matter, from you. And I will continue to share this story with everyone so that they do not become another victim of your thievery.

I ordered am electronic device using SEARS.COM. They apparently use anyone who wants to be a vendor. The item was nevre delivered, SEARS does not have a number to call, the vendor is not identified and there is no email address to use. The only way to contact SEARS about the order is via Chat. They told me they don't know if the item will evre ship and cannot contact the vendor. They gave a the vendor's phone numbe and I got a personal VM, with some guy who sounded half asleep. No call back. Sears refuses the refund my money, so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company, another waste of my time.

Sears charged my card the day I placed the order, but never checked to see if the item did or would ship. That is not even legal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

I purchased a washer and dryer on October 2, 2015 for $1131. 79. Nobody could seem to get the date and time correct so I could have my items delivered. I attempted 3 times to have these items delivered. I kept getting no where, so I asked them to cancel my order on the 14th off October. I was told that my refund would take 7-10 business days and would be credited to my debt card. I waited 14 days and still no refund, so I called Sears and was told 3-5 more business days. I waited and called again and I was told that my order was never cancelled and that they would process it and their sorry. On October 28th I received a confirmation e-mail stating my claim has been sent to the team and they are now processing my refund and I would receive it in 3-5 business days .

So I wait again and still nothing, so I call again only to find out that my order was never canceled at all and they have to resubmit it.

I was reassured that it was being cancelled again and to wait 3-5 business days again. So, I wait and called today November 13th to find out that it still hasn't been properly cancelled cause there's 2 canceled orders and one is incorrect?? The representatives said, he put in an order to cancel and it's showing that it has been canceled and I should have a conformation e- mail within the next 48hrs. Also , I would have to wait , yet again , another 7-10 business days to receive my refund. I can't handle this anymore!!! I have called numerous times and spoke with many representatives including two managers and I keep getting lied to. I just want my money back so I can buy a washer and dryer elsewhere . Please help!!

I took a Kenmore vacuum in to my local Sears store for a warranty repair Aug 28, 2015. approximately three weeks later I got a call telling me the vacuum was out of warranty. The woman who was calling herself Joan from service repair tried to tell me I bought the vacuum Sept 1, 2013. Despite my many attempts tp prove to Joan and Sears that I have the receipt for the vacuum dshowing the date of purchase to be Nov 10, 2014 both insisted their records showed Sept 1, 2013 and I would have to pay $173 to get my vacuum back.

After two days of calling and five conversations with Joan I almost had her on my side until she screwed up and tried to fabricate another lie that I immediately blew out of the water. She tried to tell me the vacuum bought in 2013 was a second vacuum that I brought in for repairs. She also told me she found the one I bought in 2024 and it was under warranty like I said.

When I told her the second vacuum that I bought from them 7 yrs ago was still in my shop and I am looking at it as we speak, Joan reverted back to the originsl scam.

Despite sending photos of the receipt for my vacuum Noone at Sears wants to be straight with me. Since this is not the first attempt to scam us it's time to take this scam to the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission and have Sears investigated for fraud and deseptive business practices. With all of the victims speaking out now it shouldn't be long before Sears gets sued. Even their employees will tell you not to buy their fraudulent warranties. I cancelled my credit card and I will never set foot in their stores or affiliated stores ever again.

Ordered a grass bag for my lawn mower. Replacement bag,, while nicely designed and engineered to fit original frame,,, is, in reality,, a poor fit. Plastic clips fit on left side and bottom, however, on top and right side I had to put wire ties on them to hold it to the frame. And the plastic clips are so big and burdensome they don't allow the rear flap on the mower to fit snugly so grass blows out the top while mowing. It's usable,, but I'd give it about a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being the beat. I don't feel it was worth the money we spent on it.

SEARS NIGHTMARE! Make a buck, screw the disabled child!

After months of savings I was so happy to be able to purchase a top of the line refrigerator from Sears. I went into sears and told the sales representative that I wanted the best fridge that I could get within a certain size range so it could fit through my door. The salesman was very helpful and assured me that he would help me pick out the top of the line because I needed a large capacity as well as reliability. I ended up purchasing a Kenmore Elite 31.7 capacity on March 10, 2015, for 4027.22 in cash out the door. (I hate credit and that is why I spent months saving) Needless to say this was a very expensive purchase for me but one I truly believed would benefit my family

My refrigerator was delivered two days later and I was totally enamored with the huge storage as well as nice features. If I ended here it would be a happy story unfortunately such is not the case. My Kenmore within one month had an Ice maker issue, ugh, what a hassle that was but Mr. repairman came out and fixed it. Ahhh much better, right? NO... Within a few months of the first repair, the ice maker broke again, another dreaded repair visit. But wait, that is not the end, AGAIN the Kenmore went T.U. with the ice maker. Three times is a charm but in this case it was only a precursor to my SEARS NIGHTMARE.

Wednesday evening, September 2, 2015, again my Kenmore ice maker had issue, this time it wouldn't freeze and I only had water in the automatic tray. I called Sears Thursday, September 3, 2015, and explained that yet again my ice maker was having a problem but this time it was different and wouldn't freeze at all and now there was a strange hissing rattling sound accompanying the ice maker saga. My patience, of course was nearing the end with so many problems arising from this "top of the line" and VERY expensive refrigerator. The first customer service specialist, uhhhh, didn't get it not to mention I think there was a bit of a language barrier. So I called back and spoke with a fantastic customer service representative. I gave her my horrible story and she was so helpful up to and including exchanging my model for another model in the hopes that this problem would be fixed for me. So after researching an on par refrigerator we both agreed that the Samsung 4 door would be the perfect choice, the only thing to check on before sealing the deal was the size of the refrigerator, making sure it would fit through my front door. On the sears website under their OWN specification the size of the refrigerator, with doors removed, is listed as 30.875 inches. Perfect it will fit, I thought. I tell the Customer Service Representative, " lets do it ASAP because I am very concerned with the rattling and I am afraid my refrigerator is going to die". Unknowingly she somewhat disagrees and says that it should be fine and that she can get me my refrigerator by Saturday, September 5, 2015. Fantastic, I am happy.

2 HOURS after hanging up I notice that both the refrigerator and freezer are warming up rapidly and now it is too late to call so after buying multiple bags of ice I try to save everything knowing my NEW refrigerator will be here on Saturday. Unfortunately I was not able to keep it cold enough to save everything but I had a protection plan, right? That would save me, that is why I bought it, right?

Friday, September 4, 2015, I call stating that, indeed, my refrigerator is definitely crapping out and everything is getting warm. I ask what the reimbursement is and I was told $250.00. WHAT??? I have a 31.7 cubic foot refrigerator stocked completely. I explain that I have taken measures to keep everything as cold as possible by stocking the all compartments with ice trying to save all that I can and that I have already lost at least 350-400 dollars worth of food but fine, I will absorb that loss. I was told to fill out reimbursement form for 250.00 and sent an email to guide me through the process. (I have not filled out the form due to reasons below)

Saturday, September 5, 2015, 11:20, delivery truck shows up with my new refrigerator. Bad news, refrigerator will not fit. Sears misrepresented the “specifications” of size on their website saying with doors removed the refrigerator is 30.875. The refrigerator, in fact, is 31.25 inches measured three different times and will NOT fit through my door. So delivery personnel reload the new replacement refrigerator onto the truck. I ask them to take the old, dead, Kenmore Elite with them as it is doing nothing more than representing a very large and expensive paper weight in my house. I am told that the refrigerator can NOT be removed because they, (delivery crew) are unable to make a delivery of the new Samsung.

I immediately call Sears explaining that now all of my food is on my counter warming up including my sons every expensive liquid medicine. (As a side note, my son is unable to eat pills and has a liquid suspension medication which far exceeds 250.00 not to mention keeps him from having seizures.)

I purchased a carburetor for out generator on our service truck. The photo on line showed the correct part I needed. I just got my order today and the part I received is not even close to the photo.

I was going to find the phone number to call Sears Parts Direct, but I found all the negative reviews first. I'm not even going to make the attempt to return it because it seems like a worthless attempt.

My advise to anyone wanting to use Sears is read reviews first. Is this putting the cart before the horse?

I contacted Sears Home Services online around August 5th, 2015 to come out and repair my refridgerator and a garbage disposal unit. Their website says the charge is $84.99 for the trip charge and it would be included for the repair. They did not ask for model number, age or anything other than brand name on their online site.

The repair tech arrived and called me to tell me that the part to repair the refriderator was no longer being manufactured. I asked him about the garbage disposal unit and he told me he does not have the skillset to repair garbage disposals, so I would have to pay another 84.99 (including tax) for another tech to come out and fix it. Sears knew about the garbage disposal unit, but clearly wants me to pay nearly $170 in trip charges for them to repair my appliances. What a rip off.

I browsed Sears.com for furnishing our new home, trying to get the best deal as it was going to cost us between 6 and 7 thousand dollars. I found a kitchen appliance bundle by Frigidaire for four items that we needed marked down to 1,099.98. I selected the necessary options taking the total to 1140.00. When I went to pay for the items it bumped the total to 2,032.96. I contacted customer care via the chat option and was told it was a error and they could not honor that price and he would contact their technical support team to fix it asap. I informed him i took a picture of the price. I asked to chat with a supervisor and who repeated the same thing but gave me a number to call if I wanted to talk to someone higher. After spending a couple of hours on the phone. The supervisor stated that they could not see it listed for the price I was saying. I informed them that I had taken a picture of the price and could provide it. She stated that they weren't honoring it either way and I could not send it to her.

So I'm a grandma who wanted to help one of my children to buy school clothes for her teenagers. thought that I would put them on lay away and have it paid off before school. So I looked on the website for prices of clothes for juniors after reading the policy said to myself okay let's get the kids a couple outfits. Everything in the store is on sale or clearance, the kids and I spent two hours looking and trying on clothes to get to the check stand and not be able to do it! Nothing on clearance or on sale is allowed to be put on layaway! Not noted in policy on line. Big waste of time.

Bought a Sears walk behind self propelled lawn mower. After a few weeks, trouble starting. Sears store told me initially that there would be a $50 "evaluation fee." This was incorrect however the service department changed the air filter and spark plug charging me $14.95 even though the warantee includes a two year smooth start plus claim that machine will start first or second pull or we fix it free. Now they say that doesnt include "expendable" parts. Machine has 8 hours, 5 uses. Air filter clogged already? Im using it as a side discharge instead of rear bag or mulcher (all included). Since it is passed 30 days, mower cannot be returned. I feel that the side discharge is causing the filter to plug up, but the spark plug? And what about that Smooth Start warantee?

What Sears might do is just swap me a brand new 37710 (same unit). Then i could sell it as a new item.

What needs to be said here is that Sears is a cumbersome, tiring, complicated company today, not consumer friendly. I think that mulching or bagging might solve the air filter clogging, but not solve the hard starting. The devil is in the details and Sears hasn't done their homework on this one. I'm pretty sure that MTD made this mower, Sears is just a name. Also note that the side discharge chute has a tendency to fall off. All in all, a mediocre effort from a once proud company.

Lastly, the mower wont be ready until 8/05/2015, brought in 7/22/2015. Long time, dont you think? Are they doing beer pong back there?
