I responded to this guy's Craigslist ad. He came out, boasted expertly and gave a reasonable estimate. I paid half up front. He later called and said he couldn't do half the job. I agreed to half the job for the $400 front money.
He came and did less than half of the remaining half of the job in about 20 minutes then disappeared. He won't do what he says and will walk off with your money. Beware and pay only after any work is done to your satisfaction. If he won't do that tell him to take a hike.
