Jetsettersworldwide.com/about-us/, local.yahoo.com/info-221375520-jetsetters-worldwide-new-york

My spouse Donna and I attended a promotional seminar at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 141 North Magnolia Ave, El Cajon, CA., for Jetsetters Worldwide (JW) travel planners on Fri, 23 Aug 2020. We paid $3500, including annual dues to join Jetsetters Worldwide. On Mon, 26 Aug we told the JW agent that we wanted to opt-out of the agreement and he said he would return our payment in full by mail within ten days and no other action was required on our part. Our check was cashed the next day on 27 Aug.

We followed up with the agent on two occasions and he assured us the refund was being processed and that we would receive it soonest. After that, the agent stopped responding to calls, voice messages, and texts.

Since then, we had phone conversations with representatives from Jetsetters Worldwide and SOR and no one will take responsibility for the error and returned our money. In essence, each contact told us “We are not the right people or the right company responsible for the error”. Each contact assured us that they would call the right contacts who could resolve the issue and said they would call us back. After all this time, we still do not have our money back or the name of the company or person responsible. We are concerned that we may be the victims of a Scam, Fraud, or some improper money handling among various shell companies.

I am reporting a local company in Carlsbad, CA. The name of the company is Save On Resorts, it's a travel technology agency. I purchased 3 cruise reservations with them last year in March for me and the members of my family. The reservation was with the MSC Magnifica ship, leaving from Venice on 09/25/2020 and returning on 10/02/2020. Throughout 2019, I made payments for the reservations but in March of 2020, my family and I decided to canceled those reservations due to COVID-19.

The cruise was leaving from Venice, Italy and since the pandemic was so bad in that country, we decided to cancel the reservations. The refund for the three reservations is over $5,500. The company informed me that it would take 30-60 days to get a full refund in my account but after the 60 days, no money was refunded. After I call to find out what happened, they informed me that it would now take 90 days to get the refunds because the Cruise company was the one holding on my money and they did not have anything to do with it.

The payments were made to Save on Resorts, every time I made a payment I called their cruise department and they would take my payment and now they were telling me that it was up to the cruise company and they could not do anything about it. They promised that I should receive my money back in 90 days so all I could do was to wait another 30 days. Last month, I only received 2 refunds and there were not able to tell me what did they refunded or how much, the amounts were not correct and I am still waiting on getting the rest of my money.

The company promised that I would get my money back on the 90 days and that did not happen. Now that I am reaching out to them, they are telling me that they are keeping in touch with the cruise company but they do not know when they will be issuing the refund. It's been over 110 days, I understood that 30-60 days was ok but after that, it is hard to understand that a company with a revenue of over 20 million dollars a year cannot issue a refund back to a client. At the end of the day is my money. I didn't ask for any compensation for all the time and trouble, but right now I am tired of waiting and not getting anywhere.

I am Hispanic and due to COVID-19, I am also out of a job and short on money, everyone is having trouble with the pandemic, but for the Hispanic families is even worse, I have been needing these funds to pay for rent, bills, food, etc. I do not make 20 million dollars a year like them, I have contacted the company multiple times and I have been very patient but unfortunately, the company is just not responding to their responsibility. I tried reaching out to them again today and now the operations manager Jennifer Lekas answered back letting me know that they are too busy to continue getting back to me as fast as I may want and if I needed help I should reach out to the cruise department from now on.

When I reached out to the Better Business Bureau, they reached out to me right away and offered to deal with the issue themselves and give it a priority, but now, it sounds like they really don't care. I have reported the company to the BBB, the FTC, and the Correspondence Unit but as you can see, but I am still struggling with this. Be Careful people!

On november 3 2015 we responded to a flyer for vacationwithease in Las Vegas NV. At the seminar we were told that If we joined vacationwithease, they would buyout our timeshare and in addition and buy back three of the eight weeks alloted to us through the program. Andre Clarke was the person in charge. We signed title transfer papers and according to Andre it was our responsibility to pay for the title transfer.

So thinking this was an excellent way to get rid of our timeshare we signed the contract, and paid Andre $990.00 for the title transfer. In january, we signed the papers to sell back three of our eight weeks of vacation allotment. The balance due was financed through Monterey financial LLC for $6995.00. Our monthly payment was $198.09.

At this point we never heard from Andre Clarke again. The title transfer has not to this date has not taken place and we haven"t received payment for our three week sellback. Nurmerous calls to vacationwithease member services have gone unanswered. they only people to talk to are the reservation people who say they have nothing to do with member services. they send e-mails with no response.

I've tried getting help from Monterey Financial but they also cannot get a hold of anyone. I explain my situation to Monterey but they want me to continue to pay. I tell them that when my title transfer takes place and I receive the three week buy back payment i will continue my monthly fee. Monterey says that the title transfer is not in the contract. I forwarded my papers to them to show them but they refuse to acknowledge them. I exlain how I was duped into signing the contract under false pretences and that Andre Clarke had no intention of fulfilling his part as he did not send that part of the contract. they still refuse to see the truth or they are part of the scheme.

Before we signed the conract, I went to the BBB site and Vacationwithease had an F rating. Andre Clarke reassured us stating he was with Savonresorts which he shoed us to have an A rating thus giving us the confidance to sign with him.

to this date Andre Clarke is in the wind and Savonresorts which is the parent company has taken over Vacationwithease. I've tried numerous times talking with savonresorts but know one there will help. All they tell me to do is get an attorney. All I ask of them is to cancel my fraudulent membership and return the monies paid in the amount of $2178.00 but they refuse to acknoledge this. also the Vacationwithease is no longer active and I cannot log in!

As of now, I have written complaints along with many many others to the Attorney Generals office and am awaiting the results. Maybe someone can start a class action lawsuit. If I knew how I would. I could really use some help ifn fighting these people from hurting others like me..
