Saudi Aramco Reviews

Abqaiq school robbed me of my childhood. On a good day, their racist staff would send you to the office before you even set foot in class, just because they could do it. Their principal would ask students to open their Facebook accounts on his computer so he could stalk all the family we had added (like my aunts, sisters, etc).

Sometimes the children of school staff would go to school, and they would bully, beat, and harass fellow students. I was called a n****r by one of the staffs children before being punched on the head. When I went to the principal with video evidence I was suspended for one day.

It's a good school if you have either an American, British or Australian passport. Otherwise, get ready for a nightmare. Your children will be harassed for attending, and the students won't stop until you leave the school. Once I was getting physically bullied by a student and the teacher sent me to the office for saying "what the hell". There is really no accountability, unfortunately.

There are 0 people working in the administrative positions that do not have either an American, Canadian, British, or other Western passport.

Basically you need a passport from a white majority country to be able to walk over everyone else, who will not really have any rights at all.

If you or your child happens to not have a passport from these countries, please send them elsewhere or they'll be beaten up and called n*g*ers, then get suspended from school for telling the principal. That's precisely what happened with me.

It became a routine for teachers to simply send me to the office for sitting there, I never abused or harassed anybody. The principal would regularly threaten to kick me out of the school or give me detention. They wanted to set an example for other non Americans who are planning to send their kids there. We know this because other students could see everyone who was in detention, as you could see who was in detention through the transparent back door.

Not only was there ethnic motivation to the racism, but a sectarian one as well. I was told by the religious crowd there that I'd be going to hell because my family were Shia Muslims. This was encouraged and enabled by the teachers.

Because of getting routinely bullied, being shoved into the concrete, punched in the head, having heard names being called and accusations being drawn about my family, having my house egged, my bike pissed on, being called a Shia kafir (derogatory term for non Muslim), I was unable to focus in class and would at one point be getting 0s on my tests. My teacher would walk across the class and look over my quiz, laugh loudly and announce to the class, not a single one! This further encouraged me to get bullied by the students who clearly found out I got a 0.

Of course, we can't dismiss my story as an instance of me being a bad student, because as soon as I left Abqaiq school I became one of the best students of my class. The trick is to get out of Abqaiq school if you don't have white privilege.

Yes, they do discriminate against Saudis as well. The American expats would routinely talk negatively about Muslim and Arab culture. These were really racist people.
