I am a current employee for this company. This company is a Monopoly that indeed has no regard in anything or anyone but their own interests and profits. Like the other report on here I too have had several incidents along with coworkers that have consistant problems getting paid properly.

The way they make you do paperwork is unfair and absurd. Customers have to sign 1-3 papers everytime they come into a salon. We have to fax everything at the end of the day to a payroll department that wont communicate anything helpful when theres a problem. theres been so many incidents involoving not being paid correctly so many times. Im starting to think the payroll department isnt even a real thing. And your forced to use Direct Deposit. You cant opt for a paper check. Without consent they post your birthday online and make you use your social security number as your pass word for everything which breaches personal security.

The managers are supposed to work when a Hair dresser or Nail technician cant work for whatever reason but many times instead they just closed the shop and left the clients to show up at an empty shop or closed shop to figure out on theyr own what happen to their appointment. Thats a true disgrace of business practice for anyone.

Our management team is pretty much non existant. They show up once in a while telling us we cant use cell phones even if its work related while they ALL come around not paying attention to anything because they are so entralled with their compoany paid ipad and iphones. There is no COMMUNICATION at all between employees and management. I personally have had a different manager tell me a different set of rules and codes at least 5-6 times. So I and my coworkers have to "re-learn" everything all the time. Asking management a question or waiting for a email or text response can take days and in my case not at all many many times.

The type of styling chairs they put in the shops are extremly dangerous for clients and despite telling management several times thats its dangerous, uncomfterable and unpleasent they still wont replace it. Weve had several incidentts of clients getting hurt and falling in the shops becuase of the furniture. These clients are seniors with bad eyesight and cant walk very well and have trouble so its very mean to put dangerous furniture in their paths. I actually care about that very much.

When I went to my orientation I was lied to about almost everything. I worked at this salon well before PS took over and I didnt feel like I wanted to leave a job a loved. The moral and ethics I walk into now everyday is deminished. We used to be a happy place but now its just paperwork, bad furniture, messed up pay and no management. Meanwhile were always stuck telling the clients why everything has downgraded and the service is so strange now. Unknowing to management we clean their messes up just about every single day.

Without giving myself away in retaliation of losing my job thats all I can say about it. There are many more problems and border line illegal practices but going into detail will give me away. But its all very true. If you work for this comapny than just be warry. Its a volatile, hostile work environment and everything is depressing and un organized in a way Ive never seen in any place I've ever worked in my life... And I've seen alot in my day. I hope this advice will help others and mabe even change the practices of a company that seems to let everyone down. Thank you.
